Fantastic experience: Very well-maintained beach with good access. I recommend paid parking because it is difficult to park.
Positive experience: Beautiful village beach with showers, restaurants, and nearby services. The worst part is that the parking gets crowded during peak times, and it took us half an hour to find a spot almost 1km from the beach.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach. It has very good bathing facilities and also has showers and footwash stations. It's true that there are some seaweeds, but there are also clean areas where you can swim perfectly touching the sand. The water is clear.

Fantastic experience: A central but pleasant beach. Clean and with calm waters. There is a bar-restaurant right on the promenade, but the downside? You have to be fully dressed and shod even to enter the bar, which is something I don't feel like doing if I'm at the beach, but I understand the rules. The staff's service is excellent.

Negative experience: Mi playa preferida pero, este año: No hay duchas habilitadas. No se controla aforo en la rampa (y no hace falta prohibir) No se controla la distancia de seguridad en la misma playa. No hay baños habilitados. No tiene acceso para personas con discapacidad. No hay apretamiento gratuito.
Fantastic experience: Playa urbana muy bien cuidada con socorrista, parking y muy fácil acceso. Por la tarde suele estar llena de gente.
Positive experience: Buena playa para tomar un baño, tras visitar el bello pueblo de Luanco; aunque la tienen un poco sucia ya que algunos de sus visitantes no cuidan la limpieza. No tiene aseos y las duchas clausuradas por las medidas covid. Está cerca de la iglesia y tiene un bar donde tomar algo en la misma playa. Cuenta con socorristas que informan de pleamar, bajamar y temperatura del agua. Es playa de arena fina, con rampa y escaleras para acceder, en la que no hay mucha corriente en comparación con otras playas asturianas.

Positive experience: Small beach but one of my favorite places for cliff diving, water jumps. There is a 4-meter and an 8-meter jump. But the water tastes terrible, very salty, and it's really dirty, you can tell it's a port.
Fantastic experience: Espectacular la playa de Luanco donde se pueden practicar diversos deportes de agua.
Positive experience: Playa que no es muy grande y está ampliada artificialmente y aún así está siempre agarrotada por lo que en todo momento te encuentras rodeado de gente incluso para pasear por la orilla tienes que andar esquivando de continuo a la gente sobre todo a la gente un poco mayor qué creen qué todo es para ellos y que tienen la potestad de hacer lo que quieran por lo que ellos nunca se separan un milímetro de su trayectoria y has de ser siempre tú el que ha de estar esquivandolos. Antes tenía una buena zona de juegos con redes de voleibol para practicar el voleibol playa y era muy entretenido ahora con suerte puedes jugar a las palas aunque como no es muy grande la playa también hay gente que se pone en la zona de juegos por lo que te limita la posibilidad de cualquier actividad ya que esta gente se cree que tiene preferencia para ponerse donde sea y no respetan las diversas partes de la playa. En consecuencia creo que hay muy poco civismo en esta playa qué en consecuencia a mí personalmente no me gusta ir ya que no puedes estar tranquilamente qué es lo que se busca

Positive experience: La playa de Luanco, es una pequeña playa artificial de unos 400-500 metros que se encuentra en esta hermosa localidad. Digo artificial ya que la ha creado el hombre trayendo la arena de puerto y de otros puntos, aún así es muy recomendable para los pequeños de la casa, ya que es como un lago, es raro el día que hay pequeñas olas. Cuenta con servicio de duchas y un amplio arena para disfrutar de una buna jornada de playa. Tiene un servicio de alquiler de kayak y otros útiles para el mar y servicio de socorrismo.

Negative experience: I didn't like it much, they presented it as a very beautiful town, but there are many towns much more beautiful than this one, like Tazones, Cudillero, etc... Moreover, the new part is too flashy and what is actually beautiful is left hidden. Anyway...

Positive experience: Luanco beach is known as Gayo beach. It has very fine sand and is very calm for bathing, and it has all the services: showers, bathrooms, parking, green areas, and a recreational area. Next to it is the Port.
Positive experience: Urban beach with good transport links and services. Its water is usually not crystal clear, with a significant presence of algae being quite common. There are rarely waves and/or strong currents. The sand is coarse, with a lot of shells, which children usually enjoy. Precisely because it is urban, the gastronomic offer in the surrounding area is very good. Luanco is one of the quintessential tourist towns in Asturias, and since the pandemic, tourism has become a big problem due to the overcrowding of people. I recommend it, especially outside the months of July and August. Being able to enjoy the beach and Luanco in spring or autumn is nothing like doing it in the middle of summer.
