Fantastic experience: Although a pebbly beach, it was very beautiful and not windy. The water was warm. There were jellyfish in the water the day that we came here, but it was still possible to find nice spots for a swim. There are rocks under water so need to watch out not to kick your foot. Toilet facilities are near the beach and free. There is a long road car park near the beach, but we parked before the access control on the road for free and trekked to get here for about 25-30 min. It was a nice hike so if anyone else is willing, it is an option, but you would have to follow the road to get down to the cove so I dont recommend doing that with children or a lot of bulky luggage. Plan ahead and take a backpack instead of a trolley or big hand bags.
Fantastic experience: Granadella is a stunning rocky beach surrounded by cliffs and crystal-clear water, perfect for snorkeling. The views are breathtaking, and the water is as blue and clear as a postcard. While it can get a bit crowded during the high season, it’s definitely worth a visit. I recommend arriving early before the parking fills up. A great spot for relaxing, swimming, and taking photos.
Fantastic experience: This rocky gravel beach is always packed in the summer. It is a good place to take canoes or kayaks from. Various companies base themselves here for this sort of thing. Parking is a bit of a nightmare here and in the sumer the number of cars that get here is restricted and I think there is a charge for parking.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful bay, great to climb around the rocks! A winding, very curvy road leads there, we found parking easily (end of October)! There were two restaurants next to each other, one was open, with clean restrooms!
Fantastic experience: SPECTACULAR! You can't miss this gem, incredible location and views. The beach is rather small and you need to go very early in the morning if you want to find a spot. For parking, you have the entire road, here too, if you want to find a space… early in the morning. There are several restaurants with terraces to have some beers, eat, etc… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Negative experience: Very, very dirty waters. We went out of season and had no parking problems. It's great for paddling...given its proximity to better beaches and caves. But as a beach, it's worth nothing.

Negative experience: You park on a narrow one-kilometer road that climbs to a residential area located in the heights of the mountains. The road is very, very steep. It is not recommended for people with moderate or reduced mobility. It is very unpleasant to have to climb the hill in summer to get to the car. If you leave your family at the beach and want to pick them up with the car to spare them the hardship, you have to travel 8 kilometers since the road is circular and one-way. The beach is made of pebbles and stones, it's very uncomfortable to swim, especially if the sea is rough. You need to wear water shoes. It is a place that has died from success. You pay 9 euros a day in summer to park.
Positive experience: A bit overrated... stony cove and murky water, although of a light color.
Fantastic experience: For your information, head to the Granadella tourist train parking. Park for free and take public transport for €5 per person round trip to the beach. GET THE TICKET UPON ARRIVAL EVEN IF THE BUS IS NOT THERE. The beach is beautiful, full of stones and people. I recommend taking just what you need.
Fantastic experience: I really liked the beach, it didn't have waves and you could paddle peacefully, the only thing was that there were a lot of rocks, meaning there were normal stones and no sand, and the water was clear and there were many people paddling. Also, when entering the sea, there was a slope with stones, but to get through, you had to wear special shoes. All in all, I liked it a lot.
Fantastic experience: Cala Granadella is a beautiful cove, here is my experience: 1. We arrived around 8 in the morning on a Monday, the place was almost empty, quite a lot of people started arriving after 10, it was never full as there is a lot of turnover. 2. The parking is paid, it costs 10 euros, the later you arrive the further away your car is, you can rent umbrellas and chairs, there aren't many and they cost 10 euros each, and you can also rent kayaks. 3. At the entrance, there is a bathroom and two small restaurants where you can buy food and drinks. 4. A not insignificant point, the day we went there were jellyfish, not in large quantities but they were there. 5. You need to have water shoes for the stones since the cove has stones and it is difficult to walk without shoes.

Fantastic experience: Granadella in Spain is truly a gem that I must recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful vacation destination. My stay there last year was unforgettable. Granadella beach is surrounded by stunning cliffs and crystal-clear water, making it the perfect spot for relaxation and swimming. ️ The atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant, where you can enjoy the sun and nature. ☀️In addition to the beautiful beach, Granadella offers plenty of options for water sports, such as snorkeling and kayaking, which are great ways to explore the surrounding coves and marine life. Local restaurants serve excellent dishes where you can enjoy fresh seafood and traditional Spanish cuisine. ️ Overall, Granadella is an ideal place for those seeking a combination of relaxation and adventure. I will definitely return here and recommend everyone planning a visit to Spain not to miss this place.

Fantastic experience: Rocky beach, the view is incredible. This beach has a capacity limit, there is a security guard who allows up to x number of people to pass. The sun reflects on its water and the water is clear. It's worth the visit. As a tip, I booked a kayak tour that departed from there, and they let me through to do the kayak tour.

Fantastic experience: Fun Rocky beach (Pebbles) with a cool bar - definitively an Instagram looking spot! The water has an incredible turquoise color. Bring water shoes, as the rocks can be tough on your feet. We went by boat in September and it was easy to find a spot to anker and swim to shore to enjoy a beer and some snorkel. A great place to relax, enjoy the views, and snap some amazing photos.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, postcard perfect, however the beach is all rocks.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. Better with swimming shoes, but without possible. There are showers and some bars.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, although very crowded in summer. Perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, an ideal area for snorkeling. Additionally, you can take some beautiful photos thanks to the turquoise blue waters.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful square and surroundings, but unfortunately the big waves did not allow us to swim and snorkel. However, we parked by the beach.

Fantastic experience: Considered one of the prettiest coves in Spain, Cala Granadella is undoubtedly one of the coves you must visit if you are going to be on the Costa Blanca. A beach of just 160 meters in length with crystal clear waters is an idyllic setting for snorkeling or diving. Located south of Jávea, Cala Granadella has been awarded several times and ranks among the best positions in the lists of the most beautiful beaches.

Fantastic experience: I recommend going early! From 7am to be able to park, by 8am it was full. Then it becomes very difficult to park. The parking cost is €9, bring cash or you can use the app 'dejo foto', the sunbeds cost more than €30 for 2 spots. They don't allow you to take only one. It's perfect for snorkeling and using the kayak. Recommendation: when it's windy, please don't go out to open sea. Trust me, you won't come back haha we had a scare haha.

Fantastic experience: Superb! The most beautiful place in the area! PARADISE
Fantastic experience: Nice beach, were here in October and still great to visit
Fantastic experience: Exclusive place, everything is very good, good atmosphere
Fantastic experience: Excellent, highly recommended, you just have to arrive early but it's ideal. We did the kayak tour and it is recommended.

Negative experience: Tried 3 times but couldn't get through! At 8 o'clock in the morning, yes!
Positive experience: A bit overrated... stony cove and murky water, although of a light color.
Fantastic experience: Very nice but little parking space
Negative experience: Very crowded beach. Access is very difficult and expensive. You have to pay 10 euros and park your car far away. Not recommended.

A not insignificant point, the day we went there were jellyfish, not in large quantities but they were there. 5. You need to have water shoes for the stones since the cove has stones and it is difficult to walk without shoes.
Positive experience: The place is a reserved and well-kept paradise, although it did not have a public restroom and parking for cars is complicated due to the few spaces available. Additionally, they place people at a barrier about two kilometers away that does not allow you to drive down, forcing people to take a bus that charges for round-trip service. Then, when you return to the car, they leave you abandoned on the beach since they sell extra tickets to people just to go back up, who did not buy tickets at the beginning as required for round trip. A great disgrace of abuse and immorality on the part of the driver, a rude gentleman towards all the tourists visiting the place. I recommend being vigilant against this abuse by this gentleman. Thank you.
Negative experience: We went on a Sunday and after a long queue in the car, we almost reached the point near the beach when we were told that the parking was full and we had to turn back. There is a shuttle service that costs €5 for adults and €2.5 for children. But we left.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful but the parking is too small, you have to come pretty early to get a spot. DON'T FORGET WATER SHOES!! The beach has rocks not sand
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful as always
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, although very crowded in summer. Perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, an ideal area for snorkeling. Additionally, you can take some beautiful photos thanks to the turquoise blue waters.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place
Fantastic experience: Beautiful square and surroundings, but unfortunately the big waves did not allow us to swim and snorkel. However, we parked by the beach.
Negative experience: Payment cove.
Fantastic experience: First class cove, from the high.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Blanca.
Negative experience: Too crowded with people, limited parking. Beautiful place.
Fantastic experience: It is a place worth visiting.
Fantastic experience: Very disappointed. The water is very cold and very salty. Irregular stone beach where it leaves your feet wrecked. I won't return. ❤️
Fantastic experience: La Granadella is a paradise, you have to wake up early to find a parking spot. There is a beach bar nearby. Wear water shoes because it has rocks. THE VIEWS ARE INCREDIBLE...RECOMMENDED
Fantastic experience: Excellent place, all stone wear appropriate footwear, you can only park far away or inside, there is a kind of train that takes you to the beach.
Negative experience: The place is very beautiful but overcrowded with tourists. It's hard to park the car, access is difficult. I think it is overrated. I do not recommend it at all.
Negative experience: Impressive natural setting BUT all of that is not worth it when you arrive and have to pay 9 euros for parking far away and on long slopes. All for a beach that is poorly maintained and doesn't even have the water supply connected in the showers. The only thing it achieves is that locals don’t want to go because we know it's an authentic robbery; they only promote foreign tourism, a tourism that normally has no respect and doesn't take care of nature, but they do spend money. That's what the Generalitat likes, the money.
Positive experience: Spectacular landscape! But full of jellyfish. We couldn't park in the parking lot next to the beach, but we parked in another one a bit higher up on dirt; it took us about 17 minutes to walk down. You really have to arrive early, around 9 or 10 at the latest.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent cove with a large influx of bathers, somewhat crowded in season. Good place to practice snorkeling as the water is usually crystal clear. It is advisable to arrive early to find parking in a relatively nearby location. It is recommended to bring water shoes.
Fantastic experience: Super beautiful beach....
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, though not excessively large place. Definitely worth arriving here early to avoid parking 3km from the destination and to calmly secure a spot on the beach. Great areas for snorkeling on the right side of the beach. There are two restaurants, so you can also grab something to eat on-site.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove with crystal clear water
Fantastic experience: The best
Fantastic experience: Great beach, fantastic views
Fantastic experience: It's beautiful, although you should go early to find a spot in the parking lot.
Positive experience: The cove is very nice, a stony beach with picturesque views of the cliffs, ideal for snorkeling or kayaking. But although we had read that there was public restrooms and food places, nothing was open. It's a shame that the existing facilities are not used, as it forces people to relieve themselves anywhere, dirtying the environment. By chance, we brought food, because initially we planned to eat at the places on the beach. Also, the access is not easy for going and coming back.
Fantastic experience: Idyllic setting. Short walk down from very small parking area. Limited spaces. Go early! Pebble beach (large stones) leading to crystal clear water - turquoise then darker blue further out. Small caves to explore if mobile and fit.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, crystal clear waters, good atmosphere. You need to arrive early because parking gets complicated. Several options for beach bars to eat, it is advisable to make a reservation.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful stone beach, too bad it is always crowded because it is trending!!!!
Fantastic experience: If the province of Alicante is famous for its beautiful coves, Granadella is the culmination. Pebble beach, although there is a bit of sand. It is something unique, rarely will we see anything like it.
Positive experience: Charming cove, we stayed to watch the sunset, quiet at this time of year. We had a peaceful breakfast in the sunshine, enjoying nature, watching the fishermen go out.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, without a doubt, but the surroundings are also well worth it. The circular trail to the castle and from there to the Llevant viewpoint and back to the cove is of medium difficulty but can be done with proper footwear and a willingness for a bit of adventure. The views are spectacular. The worst thing about the Granadella area is getting there! And parking. And of course, highly recommended. I will repeat the route.
Fantastic experience: A small but beautiful beach! With incredible views
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and quiet
Positive experience: The path is a bit winding. It's a small pebble beach. Quiet area. There is a bar that was closed out of season.
Positive experience: I haven't seen it in the summer yet, but we were there this month (February) and it's beautiful!! It was completely empty and from above, the view is super nice. I think it can be busy in the summer because you could see many parking spots along the road. We will definitely come back with our snorkel and water shoes, because it's not a sandy beach.
Fantastic experience: One of my favorite places in the community. Very peaceful to spend any moment of the day. Even to camp! You can go up with your camper calmly, hang a hammock and take the nap of your life.
Fantastic experience: Red beach. In the summer, parking is a problem. So it's better to arrive early.
Fantastic experience: Nice very small beach. Hard to find parking.
Fantastic experience: Just beautiful. Pebbles are lively small powdered grey. The sea was electric blue. Take something to sit on, and relax. Winding roads, small car park. But when we left everyone had parked along the road. Driving back up, great views, now more appreciated. No shops or restaurants open. We visited 26.12.23. the sun was shining, we were in t shirts and shorts.
Positive experience: Great beach.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach but not very comfortable to spend the morning due to the stones, clear water.
Fantastic experience: Unbelievable, excellent cove with crystal clear water and very beautiful views. You have to arrive early in the summer season because it is very crowded and space is limited.
Fantastic experience: Best beach in the Javea area in my opinion. Beautiful coves and surrounded by rocky mountains.
Fantastic experience: beautiful cove for swimming
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place for snorkeling. Unfortunately, the parking situation is quite annoying.
Positive experience: Beautiful, terrible parking if you arrive a bit late, rocky beach and painful access to the shore due to rocks first and even in the water!
Fantastic experience: The other world
Fantastic experience: Spectacular environment!!!
Positive experience: It's very beautiful, but it's so difficult to get to and park that I'm not sure it's worth it.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, although getting there is a bit tedious. Yesterday, 29/9/23, we had to pay €9 for all-day parking (that’s the only rate). I recommend going early because otherwise you'll have to park quite high up and far away. There are two bars/restaurants, it's worth it, but it would be better if the Red Cross booth were open because I got stung by a jellyfish and couldn't do anything.
Fantastic experience: magnificent
Negative experience: Small beach with many thick stones and many naked people
Fantastic experience: Busy beach with the possibility to rent kayaks. Great opportunity for snorkeling. Parking is tricky because you have to go back up in the heat on this one-way street.
Positive experience: Magnificent setting that is worth the few hundred meters walk to park. However, the sea is abnormally dirty (plastic bags, cups), which spoils the overall impression a bit. Two sites on each side of the cove where you can laugh at the selfie addicts.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful breathtaking panorama. Clean and clear water. The beach is made of stones and so is the entry into the water. Suitable water shoes are recommended. You can admire a variety of fish with the mask. Since the water is clear, there are many jellyfish, just avoid them. You can rent a canoe and go see the winter of the caves... it's a spectacle.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful sea, beach with pebbles, some jellyfish but still clearly visible, so they can be avoided. The sea is about 4/5 meters deep further out, wonderful for those who love a bit of diving. Many fish and a floating platform, paid parking (recommended to arrive early, around 8 in the morning, to find convenient parking). I have never been to a better beach in Spain.
Negative experience: Pure stones and big. Hard to park.
Negative experience: Spectacular cove completely overcrowded.
Fantastic experience: I don't like being charged to park
Fantastic experience: Ideal to go any day as long as it's not July or August
Positive experience: Very nice with plenty of space, although the majority is taken by the umbrella attendants. The water is great for snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: Ideal beach for snorkeling enthusiasts. Great variety of fish, and other marine elements to enjoy.
Fantastic experience: One of the most popular coves in Jávea. Perfect for taking the kayak and doing the route to the wolf cave and others. In summer you have to wake up early to find a spot and be able to park.
Negative experience: Very, very dirty waters. We went out of season and had no parking problems. It's great for paddling...given its proximity to better beaches and caves. But as a beach, it's worth nothing.
Fantastic experience: Stunning cove with light cliffs rising either side. The beach is pebbly. Getting to and parking at Granadella is a bit of a mission as traffic down to it is heavily restricted (it’s fine at night).
Positive experience: It's difficult, not to arrive, but to park. They charge you €9, whether for half an hour or for the whole day. The car will be about 2 km away on a steep hill... Once you get past the scare of the hill and the heat, the beach is very beautiful, it's one of the most beautiful coves in Javea. It's rocky, so water shoes would be an essential purchase. There are many rental services for water activities and a pizzeria, and not much more variety in dining. It was worth it. Highly recommended!
