Positive experience: In winter quite calm, BUT on the promenade many cars and motorcycles travel almost at 100km/h even though the speed limit is 40 km/h. There is no police presence, no radars, and the speed bumps are worn out, they do not help to slow down drivers. Especially on weekends, the promenade turns into a very dangerous racetrack. Be careful with children, elderly people, and dogs. There is a stretch that is a natural park and DOG ACCESS IS NOT ALLOWED for good reasons. If you're going to break the rules, at least leash your furry friend and pick up their waste, as the shore looks like a dog toilet. And I have a dog. The beach is sandy, long, with an empty lifeguard chair out of season and next to the harbor. Many bars and restaurants on the front line and beautiful buildings from the Belle Epoque. A small stream of cold thermal water with fish that, if you stay still for a while, will come to eat the dead skin from your feet. The bottom is full of trash, the town hall should clean it and possibly put cameras. Above all, there are cigarette butts (as usual smokers don't respect anything) but also plenty of plastics and cans. Next to it, there is a playground and machines for exercising, a great idea. Overall, a good place but very improvable. Let's see if the town hall of El Vendrell gets its act together.
Positive experience: Wide and clean beach with a large promenade where you can find restaurants with daily menus, cafes, and ice cream shops. The parking is spacious and free. There is a very cold thermal water area where you can swim and it doesn't cover.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach with shallow depth and a fantastic river mouth, perfect for the whole family to enjoy and refresh.
Fantastic experience: It is truly a spectacular place, there is a path by the river surrounded by fish, very clean and well-kept. The most wonderful thing is seeing how the sea and the river come together, feeling the change in water temperature, wow, spectacular. I love Comarruga. Its people, the warmth of the adults encouraging you to cross the river, and the food is fabulous. I recommend it, the kids playing with the fish. I love it.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, and the thermal river, which is very cold, gives it a special charm, it reaches the beach and there is a shallow part suitable for babies. It’s a shame I can't show this area, as my child is playing there. I recommend it to you, there's a white area to park throughout the town.

Negative experience: It's a pity. It is beautiful, but every day it is more neglected. Dogs on the sand, bicycles in pedestrian areas, dog poop everywhere, dirty streets, a haven for street vendors. Giving up the blue flag has served to justify the authorities' neglect. As I said, it's a pity...

Fantastic experience: Good beach. A lot of sandy area. Great for playing and doing ball sports.
Positive experience: It's nice but there are few beach bars and too many scammers... I almost got sunstroke and a Coca-Cola cost me €5, a little more and I wouldn't be able to tell you. The sand is full of stones and the wind carries a lot of sand. The water is full of pufferfish.
Positive experience: Fine sand beach. Very wide. Today, March 28, there is a strong sea storm that floods part of the beach.
Fantastic experience: Its wide beaches, pleasant water and sand

Positive experience: Perfect for entertaining the little ones, there is a freshwater channel with fish and it is shallow, a very large area for doing sports activities on the beach.
Fantastic experience: Molt maco i divertit, amb grans peixos

Positive experience: Great beach and spacious.
Positive experience: It has a river with medicinal properties and a large beach, which is not easy to find together. The promenade is small and cozy. It's a shame about the street vendors who occupy half of the promenade, and the authorities do nothing about it.
Fantastic experience: Good beach. A lot of sandy area. Great for playing and doing ball sports.
Positive experience: Pleasant, and not very busy these days.
Fantastic experience: It has wide, clean beaches and a super complete variety of restaurants. In the summer, there is a fair, and the food is usually abundant and reasonably priced along the entire promenade. The beaches are shallow and wide, ideal for going with children.

Fantastic experience: Nice beach with the plus of the stream.
Fantastic experience: The sea is beautiful and the thermal water.
Positive experience: An excellent and very family-friendly beach. Everything is very tranquil.
Positive experience: It's quite okay, at first I liked it, but in mid-July it was very crowded. Unfortunately, there were too many southern people who were getting drunk on whisky and consuming green substances while children were playing next to them. Moreover, they played a song at full volume that went something like: La dum la dum la da, la dum la dum la da… Romania. Other than that, the experience at the beach was fine.
Fantastic experience: A 10!!!
Fantastic experience: The best by far, all my life
Fantastic experience: I liked it
Positive experience: Great. There should be improvements in cleanliness or getting people to behave in a more civilized manner.
Fantastic experience: I really like this beach because it is easy to get to and it is very beautiful as well as having many stores including supermarkets nearby where you can buy the things you might need.
Positive experience: It's nice but there are few beach bars and too many scammers... I almost got sunstroke and a Coca-Cola cost me €5, a little more and I wouldn't be able to tell you. The sand is full of stones and the wind carries a lot of sand. The water is full of pufferfish.
Fantastic experience: Good beach, very wide and everything is very close, bars, restaurants, and hotels, excellent spa.
Positive experience: Large and well-maintained beach with services and various places along the coast, very nice
Fantastic experience: A place to enjoy the sun
Fantastic experience: Excellent place to go with family and friends.
Fantastic experience: Great walk, vast beach with entertainment for children. Cool place with mineral water. Places to snack or eat, with all styles.
Fantastic experience: Always beautiful.
Negative experience: Some child will end up electrocuted! It's been like this for 2 years! I do not recommend this beach! It's incredibly neglected.
Positive experience: Fine sand beach. Very wide. Today, March 28, there is a strong sea storm that floods part of the beach.
Fantastic experience: #metalldetection
Fantastic experience: Top place
Fantastic experience: The water is always 18 degrees. You can swim all year round. The water is very therapeutic.
Negative experience: A beach in total deterioration, no maintenance, more neglected every year, even a sunken boat at the entrance of the port, what a shame. We pay taxes and the backpacking tourism is just polluting, dirt, crosswalks without paint and zero surveillance.
Fantastic experience: Its wide beaches, pleasant water and sand
Positive experience: Small beach but well maintained and with public services.
Positive experience: It's a beach where you can go with children, very clean and peaceful.
Fantastic experience: Clean and quiet beach (now, in the month of October. In mid-August, also clean, but not as quiet)
Fantastic experience: It is very calm and it's great.

Its people, the warmth of the adults encouraging you to cross the river, and the food is fabulous. I recommend it, the kids playing with the fish. I love it.
Fantastic experience: We love this beach. It's the best in the area. We have visited several and we only want to return to this one. Clean and crystal clear waters. Space to lie on the sand without having anyone on top of you. Refreshing water, considering what's available in the area. It's worth it.
Positive experience: It was a nice beach day, everything well organized, clean, and secure. I experienced and enjoyed the hot springs.

Positive experience: Clear and cold water.
