Positive experience: It has restrooms, there is space for everyone, during peak season you need to go before 10 AM. Difficult parking.
Positive experience: Although at first glance it may seem like a nice and normal beach, it has some drawbacks. The first is that there are many stones, both large and small, so it is highly recommended to use water shoes or something similar. Then there is something they could do, which is to put a pathway to the parking lot, because since there isn’t one, your feet get filled with sand (and you leave your car like the Sahara desert). But well, the village is nice lol.
Fantastic experience: Very convenient access, it has a considerable extent, but it is somewhat overcrowded.
Positive experience: Hello, I think Playa Aguadulce is beautiful. At the end of November there is not much going on - but that's exactly what I love. The beach is clean and the water is lovely. I also find the promenade beautiful and think the bike paths along the promenade are good. Best regards, Frank Koop
Positive experience: Beautiful beach. I recommend visiting it. We were with the family (two adults and two young girls) on Wednesday of the first week of September. We arrived around 10:30 and it was quite easy to park. We set up about halfway along its length. There are several parking areas (although they don't seem to have many spaces) and all the nearby streets as well as the main street parallel to the promenade. There were few people on the beach; they started arriving as the morning went on, but it never got crowded. There are sun loungers available every few meters (clearly for a fee), as well as beach bars. Public restrooms. Working showers. And playgrounds right on the sand next to the promenade. Additionally, there are information signs on the promenade to know which beach you are on, what is nearby, and other public interest information about the area. The average distance from the promenade to the shore is quite long, which allows for a very pleasant walk. The promenade runs all (or almost all) the way from the port of Aguadulce to the connection with Roquetas de Mar. It was quite clean, and it shows that it is well maintained. There is a beach-cleaning boat passing constantly. It was a day that dawned without winds and therefore few/no waves; from noon onwards, a storm picked up. There were long brown seaweeds, nothing out of the ordinary for Mediterranean beaches. The water was crystal clear; in some areas, you could see bubbles of dirt, but very concentrated and not spreading. It was a jellyfish day, not in large quantities, but they were there, although apparently it is something rare on this beach. We went to an activity of inflatable mattresses (at least one adult per child) that is in the sea, about 20-30 meters from the shore. You can enjoy it quite a bit because they are inflatable surrounded by water; the drawback we had was that it was a jellyfish day and we couldn't enjoy it 100% because we had to be careful not to fall or where and when to fall to avoid crossing paths with a jellyfish. We saw two types of jellyfish: small pink ones and a large one resembling a fried egg; according to the person in charge of the inflatables, it is rare to see jellyfish on these beaches. From what I saw, there are also surfing or similar classes. PERSONAL TIPS/RECOMMENDATIONS WITH CHILDREN: 1.1) Set up the 'base camp' near the inflatable mattresses in the sea. In this area, there is a playground (free) in the sand next to the promenade, the inflatable activity itself (for a fee), parking area (try your luck), sun loungers, and beach bars. 1.2) If you prefer to rent a pedal boat in advance instead of going to the sea inflatables, or if you prefer not to get close to the inflatables to avoid getting on, about 200-300 meters before reaching the inflatables when heading from Aguadulce port => Roquetas de Mar, there is also a playground, parking, sun loungers, and beach bars. And pedal boat rentals. 2) In either of the two previously mentioned areas, you will be near the lifeguard station. Keep this in mind, more than for drowning, for possible jellyfish stings, sunburn, or any other problem that may arise and that the lifeguards can assist you with. NOTE: This rating is personal and related to my enjoyment in the area (day and time, temperature, wind, etc).

Positive experience: Atractiva y bastante bien equipada.

Negative experience: Stones and seaweed.
Fantastic experience: Fine sand beach...quiet...one of my favorite beaches in Almería...

Negative experience: Crowded in summer, many stones hurt. Deep near the shore and quite a few seaweeds when we went.
Fantastic experience: A perfect bathroom, huge beach, transparent water, very fresh, and the ground is made of very small stones (they don't hurt at all).

Fantastic experience: It's really good, to be honest; sometimes there are seaweeds but it's comfortable, you can rent slides to jump into the water, and there are beach bars around the beach.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches with its beach bars and cafes, and its promenade for enjoying a nice walk or doing sports.
Positive experience: Big beach, clean, beach bars. Showers and toilets available.
Fantastic experience: Super quiet beach surrounded by quite a few restaurants. Aguadulce is beautiful.
Positive experience: Beach with coarse sand, not too far from its promenade, crowded but with no issues finding a spot, with plenty of beach bars.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful lifeguards when I was stung by a jellyfish. Key tip - go straight to the lifeguards who can treat you effectively - do not shower if you get stung. Lots of bars to choose from. Lovely Marina at one end of the beach where as well as an array of yachts you'll see plenty of fish. The beach gets very crowded on hot weekends in the Summer. So, if you don't like sharing the beach with other people, look for alternatives. Difficult to find parking in peak times (unless you go to the car park in the Marina).

Fantastic experience: Real nice beach, very clean. Not too crowded during high-season mid-August, either. Lack of overly aggressive sales-people is a plus, too. Definitely recommended when you're in the area.
Fantastic experience: It is very clean and peaceful here. There are playgrounds for children and many cafes nearby. I would love to come back here. Highly recommended for a great holiday for the whole family.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches with its beach bars and cafes, and its promenade for enjoying a nice walk or doing sports.
Fantastic experience: One of the best urban beaches in Almeria by far. A place to spend a vacation.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches I know ⛱️
Positive experience: Wide and very crowded. Often with a lot of seaweed.
Negative experience: Crowded in summer, many stones hurt. Deep near the shore and quite a few seaweeds when we went.
Negative experience: This beach is dirty despite its Posidonia barrier. If there were a treatment plant capable of treating ALL wastewater, that would happen less.
Fantastic experience: A wonderful place
Positive experience: Big beach, clean, beach bars. Showers and toilets available.
Positive experience: I like this beach, the water is perfectly clear, and there are no waves.
Positive experience: I can't give 5 stars because the water is not sweet, it is misleading. Everything else is fine.
Fantastic experience: Super quiet beach surrounded by quite a few restaurants. Aguadulce is beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Ideal destination for going with children.
Fantastic experience: Neither here nor there, I picked a bad day.
Fantastic experience: A perfect bathroom, huge beach, transparent water, very fresh, and the ground is made of very small stones (they don't hurt at all).
Fantastic experience: Very clean beach and not overly crowded; in addition, relatively close to the capital. Ideal place to enjoy their famous sardines.
Fantastic experience: Quiet place
Fantastic experience: It is really nice to walk along the entire promenade and the spectacular beach, I recommend visiting it.
Positive experience: Good urban beach.
Negative experience: Within 5 minutes fished from the clean sea, not recommended, you swim and encounter plastic and trash.
Fantastic experience: Very convenient access, it has a considerable extent, but it is somewhat overcrowded.
Fantastic experience: I really liked the freshwater beach, its waters are very calm and its waters are crystal clear...
Fantastic experience: Calm!
Positive experience: Beautiful, but it's better to bring a chair and suitable footwear since it's rocky.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach, calm and clear waters, the perfect place for a vacation
Fantastic experience: Peace and tranquility
Fantastic experience: It's perfect for windy days because the wind is less noticeable than in Roquetas. It's quite comfortable, to be honest.

Fantastic experience: Excellent views with a beautiful promenade and playgrounds for children. Spacious and clean beach always.
Fantastic experience: Crowded in summer and very pleasant in winter
Fantastic experience: Incredibly clean beaches and without crowds, enjoying the sea in a maximum atmosphere with great well-being. And very healthy, I recommend them.
Negative experience: Many seaweeds.
Positive experience: Beautiful, and very well maintained
Fantastic experience: Very good, we went to visit El Taray.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach with showers and well-maintained walkway. Very clean water if there are no seaweeds.
Fantastic experience: Very long beach with good services.
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach for the family
Fantastic experience: Super nice and clean, showers available and bathrooms available and clean
Positive experience: We were there the first week of August and the water is great and clear, the only thing is that some days there was a lot of dirt in the water from algae.
Negative experience: I went thinking it was crystal clear and clean, and it's full of seaweed and the water is dirty. I guess bad luck.
Positive experience: Beach with coarse sand, not too far from its promenade, crowded but with no issues finding a spot, with plenty of beach bars.
