Fantastic experience: Very quiet beach with shower and parking. Spot on for campervan
Fantastic experience: Good family beach. We stayed for a few days and it was great. There's a parking lot next to it.
Positive experience: Complicated access
Positive experience: The east section is just much better than the west section. Over the east, you find more sand and cleaner area. Ironically over the west side where there is a lot of bird sanctuaries and protected area, the beach is full of little rocks instead of sand and depending on the section, it’s dirty, full of garbage, dog poop even on the walking path…
Fantastic experience: Simply the best beach within a 20 minutes drive of Estepona. Beautiful clear water within an a cove of wonderfully shaped rocks and boulders. I always feel so relaxed after spending time there. It never seems as crowded as Playa de Cristo. The only issue is parking.

Volveremos.

Fantastic experience: Nice quiet beach. Gritty but the water is nice and cool. Sometimes it’s a bit busy and for some reason there is often tons of broken glass on the rocks so be careful. Couple of good chiringuitos nearby. Great place to snorkel around the rocks.
Positive experience: Playa de la Chullera is undoubtedly a hidden gem on the Costa del Sol that I would recommend to any beach lover! The fine golden sand stretches along the coast, creating a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing day by the sea. The calm and peaceful atmosphere of this beach makes it a perfect place to escape the hectic everyday life. The cleanliness of the beach is remarkable, and the clear waters of the Mediterranean invite refreshing swimming. The gentle waves contribute to a relaxing sea breeze that makes the stay even more enjoyable. There is plenty of space to settle down on the fine sand and enjoy the sun without feeling cramped. The surroundings of Playa de la Chullera are marked by natural beauty. The surrounding rocks and cliffs give the beach a picturesque touch and also provide great opportunities for walks along the coast. Photographers will appreciate the stunning views and the chance to experience the sunset over the sea. There are also some beach bars nearby offering delicious food and refreshing drinks. The friendly staff ensures that you feel comfortable all around. Personally, I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to enjoy local delicacies right on the beach. Overall, Playa de la Chullera is an absolute favorite of mine on the Costa del Sol. The combination of picturesque beauty, cleanliness, and relaxation makes this beach a perfect destination for an unforgettable day by the sea.
