Positive experience: Very family-friendly beach with parking nearby. There are very good beach bars and ice cream shops.
Fantastic experience: A quiet place, with crystal clear waters, super friendly people, and where you can eat very well. We live in Barcelona, although our parents are from Granada, and whenever we can, we escape to spend a few days there. However, now we go with a camper and have difficulty parking, but other than that, it's a 10.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach for being Granada Costa. The best part is the access and tranquility. We went down in early April and there weren't many people, but it is quite spacious.

Fantastic experience: La orilla es de arena y luego hay piedras pequeñas, no es como otras playas que son piedras muy grandes y se hace difícil andar, para mí es una de las mejores playas de Granada, tiene cambiadores y duchas, suele haber poca gente, hay una pasarela para andar por lo que no hay problemas de accesibilidad y hay siempre aparcamientos.

Negative experience: Sin encanto. Agua fría. Piedrecitas negras en vez de arena. El día que fuimos : olas gigantes y bandera roja. No parece mediterráneo.

Fantastic experience: Este verano, deliciosa. Agua "calentita", como a mí me gusta y chiringuitos buenos.
Positive experience: Chiringuito de playa muy concurrido, nosotros llegamos sin reservar y tuvimos la suerte de encontrar una mesa. Comimos bien, estaba todo muy rico. Recomendable hacer reserva.

Positive experience: Está bien el sitio. Pero no se puede consentir que pongan tres carpas unidas y la poca playa que hay para ellos. Falta seguridad y ni se espera. Eso sí cámaras para multar a los coches que no falte. Llevo años en el pueblo veraneando pero me parece un error ser ayuntamiento independiente con falta de medios que perjudican a los visitantes y vecinos del pueblo.

Acceso a minusválidos a la playa. Hay chiringuitos, un kiosco para helados, chuches y bebidas frías, una escuela de buceo, y un sitio donde alquilan pedalones y tablas de pádel Surf. En definitiva, muy buena playa para pasar un día en familia.
Fantastic experience: Espectacular playa, fuimos cerca de la playa de los niños y agua cristalina, perfecto para hacer snorkel, sin oleaje, con una pequeña laguna del propio mar en la que los niños se metían sin problema, a lo sumo un metro de profundidad. Socorristas en la playa, zona tranquila, para ser agosto no más de dos hileras de sombrillas, agua no caliente pero tampoco fría, espectacular.
Negative experience: Es una de mis playas preferidas,me encanta. Actualizo mi reseña porque últimente veo muchas cañas de pescar puestas desde primera hora de la mañana, sin que los pescadores respeten el horario destinado para ellos, ni las distancias de Seguridad ni nada y no veo que nadie venga a controlarlos, yo vengo con niños pequeños y me da miedo que pueda ocurrir un accidente con algún anzuelo.
Positive experience: Playa de arena negra con piedras,llevar chanclas o zapatillas por qué la arena quema y mucho, por lo demás bien , tienen socorristas y servicios y duchas, los socorristas y servicios funcionan a partir de el 30 de Junio

Fantastic experience: A very clean beach with all the amenities. Bars with very good prices right by the beach.
Positive experience: It has changed spectacularly since it became an autonomous entity without the dependency on Motril, which was suffocating this locality. I congratulate its managers for the good work they are doing with this population. Torrenueva exists, and I recommend visiting it.

Fantastic experience: Mooi net groot strand met fijne kiezel; geen strandschoentjes nodig. Er zijn strandbedjes (maar helaas niet in juni). Zee is helder, en het wordt snel dieper. Gesnorkeld maar slechts paar visjes gezien. Gratis parkeren.

Socorristas en la playa, zona tranquila, para ser agosto no más de dos hileras de sombrillas, agua no caliente pero tampoco fría, espectacular.

Positive experience: Esta es la mejor fecha para visitar y estar en la playa. Es cierto que el pueblo se queda a mínimos, pocos bares y restaurantes. La playa no tiene arena si no q es de piedrecitas, pero unos escarpines y listo. Aconsejable traerse una máscara de buceo

Positive experience: It has changed spectacularly since it became an autonomous entity without the dependency on Motril, which was suffocating this locality. I congratulate its managers for the good work they are doing with this population. Torrenueva exists, and I recommend visiting it.

Negative experience: I give it one star because you can’t give less. We arrived in Torrenueva, summer... you can roughly calculate the time. You go down a main road. You head to the beach and it’s all full of people. You are driving pedestrians.... you turn to head to the beach. People with inflatables. Umbrellas. A mini plate on a house. You go down a huge slope, one-way direction, and reach an intersection that tells you if you pass you will be fined......... I reverse all the way up the street full of people. So I decide to enter and exit on the next street towards the main road (fine) because of the cameras. Okay, I’ll take it. We park and go to the beach. There are no showers. Water saving. Seriously...... we go to the accommodation and the power goes out because they say there’s a house occupied and the town is without power. There’s nowhere to have dinner. I hope I never have to return to this place in my life. Everything was terrible. There are millions better.

Positive experience: The beach is like all those in Granada, very stony, although this one seems to have fewer stones than others. The viewpoint is spectacular, with a suspension bridge offering incredible views.

Negative experience: The place is nice if we could stay there... 2 days and the police asked us to leave! However, no problem dropping off rubble and other waste there. Preferring garbage over campers is insulting, the merchants must appreciate it! No worries, we will spend our money elsewhere. A little shoutout to the members of the city council, you are idiots, gentlemen!!!!
