Positive experience: Esta bien para la familia, y los niños, no cubre y esta tranquila, quizás no sea la más limpia, ni clara, pero es bastante recomendable porque hay mucho sitio y aparcamiento, y las carreras de caballos un espectáculo
Negative experience: Difícil descansar debido al ruido de motos a "escape libre" y coches hasta las tantas de la noche. La Policía local no debería permitir semejante escándalo nocturno (ni diurno).

Golden sand and shallow waters, perfect for kids and families. Quite easy to park compared to other crowded beaches, overall... a pleasant experience. A 10 for Sanlúcar and its people.
Positive experience: Very pleasant beach with restaurants right on the sand. We went there on a Friday. Very difficult to park, but after the restaurant, we were able to watch the horse races on the beach. You can even bet on-site. Between races, you can go for a swim, but quickly, 10 to 15 minutes later, a car will come onto the beach to ask you to leave for the next race (4 in total). It was a great experience. The beach itself is more of an estuary, but even without the presence of big waves, swimming remains enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful.....a marvel with Doñana in front. It's a shame how dirty it is due to dog poop in one of its areas.
Negative experience: Las heces de perros invaden la playa de Sanlucar. Playa llena de paseantes con sus mascotas y no portan sus bolsitas para recoger las cacas de sus perros. Decepción de playa. Es una pena siendo una playa hermosa.
Negative experience: Tanta playa y no hay un cachito para que disfruten nuestras mascotas? Mi familia está formada por dos adultos y dos perritas pequeñas que disfrutan mucho con los viajes que hacemos. Pero ay la playa prohibido en tooooda Sanlúcar. Ya está bien!
Fantastic experience: Preciosa y limpia y cómoda. Varios baños públicos. Fuente de agua para personas y mascotas. Restaurantes de tapeo a pie de playa. 100% recomendable. Carril bici y runners además del peatonal para pasear viendo el mar y el coto Doñana.

Negative experience: Large beach without space issues, very dirty sand with many cigarette butts, plastics, and broken shells. The machine only 'comb' the sand but does not filter it to clean it. There are no showers or foot washes, no blue flag, and it is a river beach where you see large container ships passing by.

Fantastic experience: Arena fina, subida y bajada de mareas, agua limpia y socorristas por toda la playa al igual que chiringuitos, duchas, etc venta ambulante de bebidas, helados, chucherías y bollería para merendar. Un lugar espectacular con el Coto de Doñana enfrente, unas vistas impresionantes
Positive experience: La playa enorme, pero estaba baja la marea y como coincide con la desembocadura del río, el fondo estaba como empantanado. Luego al ir subiendo la marea estaba mejor. Mucho espacio en la arena y chiringuito para comer bueno.

Fantastic experience: Arena fina, subida y bajada de mareas, agua limpia y socorristas por toda la playa al igual que chiringuitos, duchas, etc venta ambulante de bebidas, helados, chucherías y bollería para merendar. Un lugar espectacular con el Coto de Doñana enfrente, unas vistas impresionantes
Positive experience: Buena arena, servicios, duchas y servicio de socorristas. Céntrica y con parking cerca.
Fantastic experience: Para mi gusto, la mejor playa de todas las que he visitado en Cádiz. El agua estaba muy buena y muy limpia, la mar muy tranquila con muy poquitas olas (como a mí me gusta vaya) y era enorme, por lo que en tiempos del COVID como este era muy sencillo mantener distancia de seguridad. Tiene cerca todo lo necesario: chiringuitos, restaurantes, bazares, etc...

Positive experience: A nice clean beach stretching away from the town.Plenty of space and good for bathing
Negative experience: Was a bit disapointing. No trees on that beach, no shade but plain sunshine. The water looks not clean and that's because it's actually the river bed and not the sea, at least at the part we have seen. No bars are very few to find alongside the beach. Live is going on in the center of the city about 10min walk away from the beach. This is where you'll find plenty of street restairants, bars and cafeterias.

Fantastic experience: The horse races and the kids' betting booths were so much fun!
Fantastic experience: Estuvimos en la carrera de caballos por la playa. Todo un espectáculo totalmente recomendable. Muy divertido ver cómo la chavalería montaba puestos de apuestas dando como premio juguetes. El agua de la playa muy baja y tranquila, ideal para familias con niños txikis.
Positive experience: Sanlúcar es lugar para disfrutar. Sus playas de la desembocadura del Guadalquivir no son las mejores. Pero son muy bonitas con vistas al coto de Doñana. Por contra su gastronomía es de las mejores de Andalucía y a precios muy equilibrados, con gran diversidad de bares y restaurantes.
Positive experience: Aguas propias de desembocadura de río, poco transparentes,con diversas salidas residuales. Importante gastronomía en sus locales de hostelería con unas materias primas formidables y buenas cocinas. Puestas de sol increíbles
Positive experience: Un posto suggestivo a pochi metri dal centro di Sanlúcar de Berrameda. Le spiagge sono selvagge e dorate e ci sono diversi ristorantini, ma il mare non è un granché per la presenza della foce del fiume Guadalquivir.

Negative experience: Was a bit disapointing. No trees on that beach, no shade but plain sunshine. The water looks not clean and that's because it's actually the river bed and not the sea, at least at the part we have seen. No bars are very few to find alongside the beach. Fantastic experience: It's not the typical Atlantic beach, as it is actually the mouth of the Guadalquivir. It's an ideal beach for children since it has little wave action and is very shallow.

Negative experience: Don't even think about walking without shoes. It's full of sharp shells. Very crowded with little space. The water is always murky, with a muddy bottom and shallow depth. Boats pass close by during their transit to the Guadalquivir. A couple of times a year, they organize horse races on the beach; I suppose they do it to avoid winning the title of the worst beach in Cádiz by far.

Negative experience: Huge beach, it doesn't cover and is full of stones, not very comfortable to walk... for sensitive feet.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach with fine, especially clean sand. We went in September and the parking was free. The only not-so-good thing is that the breeze was quite strong, so our stay was somewhat short. We would return anyway ☺️

Negative experience: Full of stinky algae and lots of skin-cutting clams. Not a really good experience. Careful with the sea current. It's very strong. Also the wind makes all the sand bury your belongings
Fantastic experience: Stunning views and huge beach. Great boardwalk and lots of restaurants near the town center. The end of the pier has some higher end restaurants. The end of the pier area had a slightly unpleasant smell, but I think it was from the horse drawn carriages that are in the area. Seemed to be plenty of parking but I think that will change in summer months.
