Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and peaceful, close to the marshes of Isla Cristina, clean. Easy access via the bridge, spectacular scenery.

Negative experience: A beautiful beach that dogs are not allowed on (it's clearly stated on the access bridge), yet it was full of people with dogs, smoking joints and playing typical loud music... not recommended because of the crowd that hangs around there... it's a shame that no one controls these violations... I won't be coming back.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful natural landscape, fine sand, and it is not overcrowded.
Fantastic experience: A place that is undoubtedly different where you have water both in front and behind. The water in front has waves, is cold, and has shells, although it doesn’t bother your feet. The sand is very fine and soft. Behind, the sea also comes in and the water is warmer, calm, and without waves. Depending on the tide, if it's high, it's full of fish, and if it's low, it's full of crabs and small crustaceans in their shells. The dune is beautiful and the walkways are nice too, although there is one that is a bit burned and in poor condition. It feels long when you have already been a couple of times because the dune is large and crossing to the shore takes quite a while.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful, sand, calm sea without waves
Fantastic experience: This beach is located on the western coast of Isla Cristina, a coastal town in the province of Huelva, in southern Spain. This beach is one of the most popular in Isla Cristina because of its beautiful crystal-clear waters and its wide stretch of golden sand. It is a recommended choice for enjoying the sun and the sea in a pleasant environment with services available to visitors. It is actually called Playa de la Gola.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach. Good facilities and well-maintained. Fine sand. Ideal because it is quiet and great for spending the day with family.

Positive experience: Access by wooden walkway, there are lifeguards, medical services, beach bar, the water is fine. There are more walkways that are abandoned, you can't pass, the surroundings to the walkway are dirty, it's a shame that Isla Cristina is so neglected. Nothing to do with the Portuguese beaches.
Positive experience: Nice beach, a little further away from the busier beaches. Nice walk from the entrance to the shore, along a pathway that crosses a lagoon or estuary that forms when the tide comes in. Here we have caught cockles and crabs in the past, but nowadays, their capture is prohibited. 'El Escarabajo' snack bar on the beach, looks very good. Showers and an area for reduced mobility.

Positive experience: Acceptable
Fantastic experience: Amazing...
Fantastic experience: Beautiful calm Beach not far from the hotels and Airbnbs. There is a 5 min long walk on a boardwalk, where you can see fisherman at the edge of the water. We visited here at the end of April 2024, because it is early spring. You will not see that many people. However, the weather is above 25°C. There is a supermarket called El Jamon right before entering the beach. Prices are in euro.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and peaceful for good walks along the shore
Fantastic experience: Beach par excellence. Clean. Good atmosphere. Beautiful.
Positive experience: Lovely quiet beach, lots of shells, and lots of sea birds on the end. Be careful you don't get cut off on the end as the sea washes over into the lagoon.
Positive experience: The access is made by a wooden bridge, where we find a generous sandy area.
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach in Huelva
Fantastic experience: Shallow sandy beautiful beach!

Positive experience: It's beautiful. There's a wooden walkway over the water to get there. I don't give it a five because I couldn't go with my dog, who is a service dog for people with disabilities. You can catch shellfish when the tide is low.
