Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with a wild touch, free parking right next to it, and a bar where you can order food and drinks. There are also showers available. Although the beach itself has small pebbles, once you step into the water you’ll find incredibly soft and pleasant sand. Fall in love with this beach!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach With barbecue areas They have public restrooms On weekends they are all occupied from early They celebrate gatherings and birthdays There is a small beach bar with drinks and food, the owners are very nice, kind, and attentive I had a coffee
Fantastic experience: What a perfect little beach. Pssst....Don't tell anyone else! A calm atmosphere, great parking, and you can comfortably sit at the beach bar. The sandwiches are top-notch and fresh. The service is very nice. We'll definitely come back!
Fantastic experience: Super nice beach, very clean, there weren't many people, the sunset is perfect, and there are plenty of parking spaces, free of charge, a beach bar that is nice with good service.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. It’s not very big, but water is clean, better than city beaches in Malaga. Good spot for paddle boarding. The water is chill but gets better around 4pm. The only thing - you’d probably want to bring your own water and snacks, since there’s only one bar in the area.

Fantastic experience: TAKE YOUR TRASH AND ENJOY WHAT NATURE GIVES YOU BY LEAVING IT JUST AS YOU FOUND IT OR, IF YOU CAN, A LITTLE BETTER. THANK YOU ❤️ My experience is always positive, despite some inconsiderate people who come with dogs and bark all day.. Or those who treat it like a nightclub and bring their super loudspeaker and ruin the moment ♀️ That little beach is for being calm and at peace.. The environment invites that.
Fantastic experience: Usually clean water and less people. No WC but there is a place for kids to play there and a shower. Also a lot of camper cars parked there , and a little bit further is a beach for dogs
Fantastic experience: Top!!

Fantastic experience: Hidden gem with a chill vibe Peñón del Cuervo is such a cool little beach spot more low-key than the main city beaches, and perfect if you’re into a more natural, relaxed setting. The big rock (the “peñón”) right in the middle gives it a unique look, and it’s a great backdrop for photos. There’s a picnic area nearby, so it’s awesome for bringing some food and hanging out with friends or family. It’s also popular with locals, which is always a good sign. The water is usually calm, and there’s plenty of space to spread out. Not a lot of bars or chiringuitos around, so bring your own snacks and drinks! Great place to escape the crowds and just enjoy the sea. Bonus points if you catch the sunrise or sunset it’s gorgeous!

Fantastic experience: Super nice beach, very clean, there weren't many people, the sunset is perfect, and there are plenty of parking spaces, free of charge, a beach bar that is nice with good service.
Fantastic experience: Very good beach removed from the city for barbecues. It's true that now it gets very crowded because it has become quite famous and it's not as good as in previous years (you have to go at 7 in the morning if you want to get a barbecue spot and they no longer allow you to bring your portable one and do it in the same area). It's quite better when it's not high season, since it's a beach of about one kilometer, it gets overcrowded and feels a bit small. In another area where barbecues used to be held, they have put a beach bar which is not bad but also nothing special or very well done; besides, the prices are what they are in this kind of places. Without a doubt, one of my favorite spots but it's true that during high season I will avoid going quite a bit because it's not enjoyable that way.

Negative experience: 5 stars to the super beautiful, peaceful, and clean cove. Minus 10 to the lifeguard, because while I was playing with the waves with my daughter, I fell a couple of times and he came to pull me out of the water, when there were more people in the water. I felt disregarded. Scoundrel.

Positive experience: Beautiful place, the water is like a crystal, perfecto place for snorkeling. You'll love it, but normally the jellyfish love it too ,so put attention.

Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, a pleasant place to enjoy. Restrooms are open until 8 p.m., and are super cleans. It has a barbecue area.
Fantastic experience: The sky looks spectacular from there
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach for relaxing or doing sports, equipped for barbecues and having a great day.
Fantastic experience: Gorgeous beach! All to ourselves on a December day.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Fantastic place! Playa Penon offers breathtaking views that capture the essence of Málaga's natural beauty. The peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the city’s usual hustle and bustle. The scenery was truly stunning, and it felt like a hidden gem with fewer crowds, which added to the serene experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape with spectacular landscapes.
Positive experience: Clean and quiet place, the water temperature perfect for a dip.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach With barbecue areas They have public restrooms On weekends they are all occupied from early They celebrate gatherings and birthdays There is a small beach bar with drinks and food, the owners are very nice, kind, and attentive I had a coffee
Positive experience: On weekends it is impossible to find a free barbecue or recreation area. Music at full blast.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches and views of the entire coast of Málaga city, one of my favorites for being one of the quietest.
Fantastic experience: A wonderful beach to spend the day with children and family, the only downside is that there are no shops nearby or beach bars.
Fantastic experience: This is the most beautiful beach I have seen here so far☀️☘️❤️
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, not a nice toilet.
Negative experience: Very nice setting indeed! However, we understand better why it is not very crowded... The beach is very dirty and infested with wasps and hornets that hover around the towels. We preferred to leave.
Fantastic experience: What a perfect little beach. Pssst....Don't tell anyone else! A calm atmosphere, great parking, and you can comfortably sit at the beach bar. The sandwiches are top-notch and fresh. The service is very nice. We'll definitely come back!
Positive experience: Nice place
Positive experience: Being a bit 'secluded', it is quieter than other beaches, which we loved.
Negative experience: 5 stars to the super beautiful, peaceful, and clean cove. Minus 10 to the lifeguard, because while I was playing with the waves with my daughter, I fell a couple of times and he came to pull me out of the water, when there were more people in the water. I felt disregarded. Scoundrel.
Fantastic experience: Very nice place to camp and have barbecues, very quiet and with a bar that is open until late.
Positive experience: Family beach where it is possible to do some snorkeling and jump from the rock. Beach and water are clean.
Fantastic experience: A unique place to have barbecues with a view of the sea. Ideal for sharing among friends and family. Bring music. Utensils. Keeping the place clean is very important.
Fantastic experience: Super nice beach, very clean, there weren't many people, the sunset is perfect, and there are plenty of parking spaces, free of charge, a beach bar that is nice with good service.
Negative experience: The beach is very beautiful, really amazing, with stunning views. But it's so dirty, full of cigarette butts and other trash left by those who use it. When you leave a place, you should look around and make sure it doesn't look like you've been there. If you smoke or eat and leave your butts or waste behind, you are a ...
Negative experience: Sometimes it is dirty
Positive experience: Very dirty, I will not repeat.
Fantastic experience: Warmer sea than some other beaches near Malaga. Very calm.
Negative experience: Quite dirty beach, lots of waves, stones. There are no toilets. There's a camp, putting music on speakers.
Fantastic experience: I recommend it
Negative experience: What a shameful audience at the beach. Barbecues on the sand, tents, they leave waste scattered on the sand (cans, bottles, bags, papers, butts..). It's a pity, such an emblematic beach in Málaga and that the users don't know how to appreciate the jewel we have.

Fantastic experience: My favourite beach close to Malaga! Nice views of sunset, 15-20 minute walk from Malaga (last stop of buses 3, 8, 11), 2 lagoons. One has more sand, the other one more pebbles. Beware no stores, restaurants or WC here. More about Malaga and life in Spain in my instagram @ travelyula
Positive experience: My favorite spot, although lately it gets crowded with a lot of people having barbecues and there are tons of vehicles (it's crazy). The perfect beach and there aren't many people.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach but very neglected, the people who camp leave their waste and garbage on the sand, the showers are temporarily closed due to drought. A beautiful place that could be better if everyone who visits does their part to take care of it.
Fantastic experience: The best place to relax
Fantastic experience: Spectacular place to go... Highly recommended
Positive experience: Fantastic municipal facilities and well monitored at night. Good beach to enjoy and a flat area before the tunnel for parking. The only drawback is the incivility of those who drink in public and do not clean up, filling the area with garbage despite the numerous bins available.
Fantastic experience: Cool beach for spending weekends. There are many tables and stationary barbecues. A large standing stone on the shore divides the beach into two parts. This place is also popular for weddings and people with photo sessions. A cool place is recommended for visiting.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches I have been to. We came here at 1 PM and it was quite pleasant. It starts getting crowded at 4 PM.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, very quiet. Excellent for barbecues.
Positive experience: Quiet beach about 9km from Málaga. Slightly scruffy feel and grey sand. Nothing special at all.
Fantastic experience: We had a beer
Fantastic experience: Classic beach in Málaga, ideal for watching the sunset with views of the rock.
Fantastic experience: I really like it, it's a very beautiful place.
Positive experience: Beautiful little beach, it's a shame the trash that people leave.
Fantastic experience: Super!
Positive experience: A lot of dirty hippies
Positive experience: It would be good, more cleaning by the town hall.
Positive experience: Small beach with good views of the Peñón del Cuervo, it should be cleaner.
Fantastic experience: Cozy place with beautiful views
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with amazing rock.
Fantastic experience: Public place with barbecue spots (go early)
Fantastic experience: Fantastically beautiful beach, especially during sunset. There are usually few people (September, October). Picturesque cliff, foot shower, a few palm trees and the sounds of cicadas 10/10 Small crabs live in the cliffs.
Positive experience: Very nice place to walk, swim, relax
Negative experience: Beautiful beach and spectacular barbecue area. The problem is the people, it is ALL DISGUSTING. This morning there was a bottle of Barcelo on the ground, two barbecues with Negrita bottles, half-filled drinks on the tables and the ground, discarded underwear, a flip-flop... They do not deserve what they have. (For the photos, I haven't moved from where I am writing the review, imagine when you take a walk or do anything else).
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, it is not equipped so you need to bring your own things, but it is worth going.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean beach
Negative experience: I parked in a parking lot with soil like powdered sugar and walked through a tunnel filled with cars and human excrement to a beach with lots of pigeons. The beach itself is all right and one can dive from the rocks, but I felt like I needed a shower and a hepatitis vaccine after the visit.
Positive experience: Nice little cove where you will appreciate small fish and the occasional sea urchin, be careful on the rocks there are sea tomatoes and many mussels.
Negative experience: Dirtier than ever, on Sundays people have BBQs and leave all their garbage and food scraps on the ground and on the beach.
Fantastic experience: I love the beach although there's no parking nearby, it's a hassle; other than that, it's beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, Especially on the sunset. Water is really clean and clear
Positive experience: Sea was beautiful and clean but the beach wasn't as clean as other Malaga beaches.
Positive experience: Water clean and clear. Negative - the shower does not work
Positive experience: Nice and quiet beach. Not the cleanest, unfortunately.
Positive experience: Nice beach with clean and clear water. The drive to it is like in horror movie, through some tunnel. Missing some vegetation on the beach.
Fantastic experience: I am so happy I discovered this place. It is not very crowded, also not very noisy if you don't go to the barbecue area. The beach is a bit wild, you need to walk 10 mins till the closest chiringuito for the toilets. But the views are amazing, with that big rock in the middle of it. Don't look behind though, you'll see the cement factory Also, kudos for the city council! They have organized the place very nice!! Forgot to take any pictures, we just enjoyed it!
Fantastic experience: Nice beach, with clear waters, you can’t see the cement works once you’re on this beach, so I don’t know if those reviewers actually came down onto the beach or just remained on the cliffs !!! Nice trees to compliment the atmosphere, sun setting has a beautiful light.
Negative experience: In summer on a saturday or sunday, arrive early and leave by 1pm. All the barbeques are taken by 8:30am at the weekend, however the beach is quiet and the parking is still quiet at this time. However by midday, the noisy, local chavs are out in force. The bbq area is full of drunk (and other product using) chavs, and the beach is as noisy as it gets with groups of 20 with speakers are in full swing.
Positive experience: The beach is beautiful, but pay attention to the jellyfish
Fantastic experience: Fantastic spot for sunset photos!
Positive experience: Beautiful and chillax beach in October. Nice Paseo just above.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic views , we cycled along from Malaga, was certainly worth while.
Positive experience: Beach is large and beautiful. Only minus is that you need to walk a bit to reach it. And the way to the beach is with no shade. This only goes for tourists that use public transportation from Malaga.
Fantastic experience: Usually clean water and less people. No WC but there is a place for kids to play there and a shower. Also a lot of camper cars parked there , and a little bit further is a beach for dogs
Fantastic experience: This beach is fantastic you can rent a bike and get there in minutes. Showers everywhere to rinse and lots of place to eat or have a drink
Fantastic experience: Really beautiful beach just outside of Malaga .. a great spot to watch the sunset.
Positive experience: Beautiful place, the water is like a crystal, perfecto place for snorkeling. You'll love it, but normally the jellyfish love it too ,so put attention.
Positive experience: Amazing view all around, simply mesmerizing. The only pitfall for me is the sand color haha but still an amazing beach for spending the day and taking a bunch of wicked pictures
Positive experience: As a tourist jogging along the coastal line, I don’t really recommend you to go. There’s basically mud, darker and harder sand, little stones and four children’s playground facilities. Nothing to do and few to see here at all. The large stone is nice, but not special. Good for locals to have some BBQ here, but I don’t recommend it as a tourist. Btw, the water is clean but the beach is not.
Fantastic experience: One of the last natural places of Málaga, to expend time for a beach day or a BBQ, you need a paperwork and take place on BBQ early. Better during the week.
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach of the East Malaga, the Peñón is a famous Rock and there are lots of places for picnicking and grilling... although saturdays is very crowded, lots of young people. There is access by car under the motorway by the cement factory. Is children friendly bathing. There is the historical paseo de Canadienses... a beach walk named so because of the help a Canadian family offer to the victims of the run away (la desbandada) when Franco took Malaga.
Fantastic experience: Great little beach with lots of young people. There’s access from the closest beach by a nice coastal path. Always lots of people with BBQ and botellon but no kiosks here. The water is a bit rough but not unmanageable and it’s nice to climb the rock if you can.
Positive experience: Its okay. Lot of stones... There is a nice Rock to climb. {see attached foto}
Positive experience: Nice placer for BBQ and is not crowded by tourists
