Amid children and swimmers, unqualified windsurfers can do whatever they want. We reported the misconduct of the local windsurfing instructor to 4 lifeguards, who could see everything but omitted to force the instructor and his clients to leave the protected area. We were told to report the situation to the police station. The police officer told us that they (lifeguards/rescue) had to expel the instructor, who is most likely a friend of the lifeguards. So, please pay attention to the presence of windsurfers/jet skis within the areas marked by buoys. The lifeguards at this beach will not stop them unless they kill someone.

Positive experience: I have read negative comments and I don't understand it, to be honest, the beach is very nice. It has some rocks at the entrance, but they are not a problem even for children; perhaps thanks to that, the beach is not overcrowded like others, and you can relax in front of the water. It is clean, not too cold, with hardly any waves, and the best part for me is that you can park right next to it. Additionally, there are good places to eat on the same promenade. What more could you ask for?

Negative experience: This beach was very pleasant last year... but this year, when we returned during Holy Week and April 2024, we found it very neglected (papers... plastics... cans) and very dirty because there are many dogs doing their business on the sand repeatedly and regularly... It's a shame, because it is a very quiet and family-friendly urban beach.

Positive experience: Playa que se encuentra en la misma Bahía de Águilas. Donde ofrece una visión espectacular del pueblo, el agua suele estar tranquila habitualmente al ser una Bahía bastante cerrada, bastante familiar y con algunos chiringuitos a pie de arena donde puedes tomarte a buen precio, producto de la zona. Dispone también de servicio de socorrista de la Cruz Roja, en los meses estivales. Como nota no tan positiva, no hay servicio de Duchas ( solo para quitarte la arena de los pies ) y precisamente la arena no tiene la calidad, que si dispone en muchas calas que tiene Aguilas, en su término municipal y que algunas de ellas son playas vírgenes y con pocos bañistas. En las Delicias es más bien tierra y no luce tanto para el baño. Pero si no quieres coger coche y moverte, es ideal para pasar un buen rato.
