Positive experience: Muy buena playa, con paseo marítimo y múltiples bares y chiringuitos alrededor. Dificultad para aparcar, zona de pago. Playa de poca arena y mucha piedrecita, Tiene todos los equipamientos .
Negative experience: It's a very comfortable and beautiful beach. However, users do not respect the common space at all. Throughout the summer, the first row facing the water and other areas is completely occupied by empty loungers and umbrellas left by other bathers who reserve their spot. Even though you can go at 3:00 PM, which is a great time to enjoy the beach when it's clear, the scene is disheartening. I believe it greatly harms tourism in general and the people who live in Almuñécar all the time.

Negative experience: Highlight the large number of unleashed dogs walking this weekend, despite the signs prohibiting animals. It’s a shame because some of the owners do not clean up after their dogs. They are noble animals under the care of people who do not care about the environment or the usage that children give it. I liked the beach, but it would be interesting for the authorities to take measures they deem appropriate to protect and preserve it and to avoid having to walk over dog urine and feces....

Fantastic experience: I always stay along this beach when I go to Almunecar. It's not great sand, but I absolutely love this place. Plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops around close to the town.
Negative experience: It is a beach with pebbles, stones, and boulders the size of a hand. The entry into the sea is steep and has a drop. At 3 meters from the shore, it is already deep. It has the typical services of a good beach. If you are looking for a beach like Cambrils, Noja, Suances... this is not your type of beach. However, the weather is exceptional. A paradise in these times of extreme temperatures.

Positive experience: In the off-season, you can feel the freedom of life by traveling along the southern coast of Spain. Almunecar was just like that, with beautiful panoramic views that made you want to stay longer. The beach is large and if it were sandy it would be perfect, but walks in such places are still worth visiting.
Positive experience: It's not a sandy beach, it's made of stone but it's not very bothersome. The water was crystal clear.

Negative experience: Masificada, nadie guarda la distancia de seguridad y nadie controla este tema ni el aforo. Nada recomendada en estos tiempos.
Positive experience: Es muy bonita. Estuve hace meses sin gente y hace uno días en plenas vacaciones. La gente no respeta la distancia de seguridad. Es ruidosa y si hay viento las olas son tremendas. Es de piedra por lo que es mejor llevar sillas y escarpines tanto para andar por la playa como para entrar y salir del agua... En primavera, otoño e invierno es agradable para dar un pequeño paseo y sentarse a disfrutar de la calma y las vistas del lugar...

Positive experience: Very clean water, fine gravel beach. However, it is really very crowded in August and the promenade looks like it had its best days in the late 90s.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, we stayed at the San Cristobal beach hostel, super good atmosphere, good food, impeccable service, and very clean!

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach full of things to see and do. Lots of leisure activities and many artisan sales, especially at night. Watch out for the jellyfish on the beaches. They tend to be quite common around here.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful stoney beach ⛱ the views are amazing and there was a big underground parking complex just beside it.
Positive experience: A lovely beach with sand and fine to coarse pebbles and plenty of lounge rentals (cash only, 10 euros for two chairs) with umbrellas. There are also some small bars on the beach where you can get drinks to bring to your lounges.
