Es Canar Beach

Positive experience: Pequeño arenal urbano, de arena gris de tamaño medio, ahora en temporada baja, fácil aparcamiento en la zona. Pero imagino que en temporada alta será un problema. Hay parking público de pago frente a la playa, ahora están cerrados al igual que muchos restaurantes y tiendas. Arena sucia, agua transparente y aparentemente no muy profunda. Dispone de puesto de socorristas así como de duchas y restaurantes alrededor. Pero ahora en Febrero 2025, está todo cerrado.

Positive experience: A quiet and sheltered cove, easily accessible with few waves. It gets sunlight in the morning and there are several bars and restaurants in the vicinity.

Positive experience: Possibility to park on the street or in the paid parking near the beach. Average beach with fine sand, a few small fish but nothing more. Water at 24 degrees.

Fantastic experience: Mooi strand met veel leuke bars. Netjes en de stoelen kosten (2022) € 7 per stuk. De baai zelf is leuk en parkeren kan op diverse parkeerplaatsen in en rond het dorp.

Positive experience: Mooi zandstrand. Loopt langzaam af. 2 Bedjes met parasol 18 euro. Er loopt een pad langs, maar dat wordt steeds onderbroken door restaurants

Fantastic experience: Playa muy tranquila, ideal para familias. Servicio de hamacas, arena en buen estado, pequeña playa para perros. Desde aquí se puede ir a Formentera en ferry. Estupendos amaneceres. Al lado de los apartamentos Es Canar. Cuenta también con un gran aparcamiento gratuito a escasos metros de la playa. Rodeada de pequeños hoteles y restaurantes. Zona muy recomendable para familias.

Negative experience: Small beach, parasols and beds crammed together not much space between yourself and others. Mucky sand always looked brown put me off from going on it.

Negative experience: Beautiful beach, full of cigarette butts and other stuff. Even the sand smells of cigarettes. Too bad, otherwise very nice place. For 18 euros per day there are 2 sun loungers with parasols, which is very reasonable (for Ibiza). Beach is minimally cleaned in the evening for 5 minutes by the sunshade landlords with a fishing net, ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: A lovely small beach, very intimate and beautiful and perfect for enjoying the sand between your toes

Fantastic experience: The beach is located in Saint eulaliaIt surrounded by restaurants and beach bars and also near the Es Canar Ferry location. The beach is sand and is kept quite clean. Parts of the beach though did have a lot of seaweed. We were here in July and we did find it cold to swim in. The beach is lined with beach chairs which you can rent. In my opinion they are quite expensive. I believe we rented ours for 18€ each with the umbrella. Overall this is a nice beach and nice location. We also recommend walking further along the beach around the cove and enjoying the seaside walk.

Positive experience: Lovely bay backed by shops and restaurants. Like many Ibiza beaches, it can suffer from seaweed after a storm. Safe swimming, shelves gently.

Fantastic experience: I love this beach, it's not crowded at all, but especially if you can eat at the restaurant Sa Trenca, the food is really good and at great prices, everything is super fresh and the grills are amazing!! Just make sure to reserve a table because it always has a lot of people for lunch.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach and some lovely bars along it, especially the Buah bar, but some areas of the beach are too overgrown for my taste. Some good beach bars and pedal boat rentals with slides, etc., are available on the beach, but we just took a stroll and had a pint.

Fantastic experience: A cute little beach. There are bars and restaurants nearby. As well as the port, very convenient for the ferry.

Fantastic experience: Nous avons adoré cette plage d'es Canar et son restaurant... Tout est au rendez vous... Le calme, la sérénité, la sécurité du sable fin, une pente douce pour aller nager... BRAVO !

Negative experience: Used sunbed in front of Mangata. 10 euros for the sunbed.and a further 10 euros for the parasol....I dont think so. So for a 10 night holiday at the beach this is a cost of 200 euros...for a bed on the beach? This is an absolute rip off. Might explain why so many of the beds were unused. No toilet facilitiesnand the beach wasn't cleaned daily like other beaches that do clean and the guy collecting the money didn't have much cheer about him. I'll stick.with the hotel poola nd then if I do that I also won't be going out in the town and spending my money either....have a think about that

Positive experience: First beach. Not the prettiest beach there is, very narrow. Calm water and not busy. There is some seaweed. I visited here in September. I wouldn't drive extra to go here. It's just that our hotel was located in Es Cana.

Negative experience: My first and last time in Ibiza as I'm very disappointed. The water is cold and very dirty (07-07-24)

Positive experience: Ideal para familias. Playa animada, bien equipada y con abundante oferta de restauración. Alquiler de barcas a pedales y tablas de paddle surf. Dispone de puesto de socorrismo. Aguas claras, arena fina y estado de limpieza más que aceptable. La zona de baño está separada de la de embarcaciones y señalizada con boyas. Aspecto muy destacable: dispone de acceso a playa y material de apoyo para facilitar el baños de personas con discapacidad.

Positive experience: Bonita cala. No muy saturada. En ella hay alquileres de kayaks, paddle surf, y barquitos de pedales (estos últimos a 25€/h). 12/julio, 35º… ¡Ojo con las medusas! Se ven bien porque el agua es totalmente transparente, pero ojo… Los comercios no tienen los precios muy desorbitados….

Positive experience: Spiaggia tranquilla frequentata prevalentemente dafamiglie e coppie l l'acqua non é sempre chiara e traparente in paeticolare su tutto il lato sinistro guardando il mare. La sabhia assume colore piu chiaro e l acqua si presenta di color turquese nella zona antistante Apartamentos Ec cana. Qui si possono noleggiare pattini e ombrelloni con due lettini ad un costo di 18 euro. Sulla spiaggia ci sono diversi ristoranti dove é possibile mangiare o consumare bevande. L'ultima struttura presente sulla spiaggia sul lato sinistro é un hotel. Di fronte la spiaggia ad una distanza di 600-700 metri ci sono due isolotti. Sul lato destro alla punta cé un attracco per barche che trasportano turisti a Formentera e ad altre spiaggie e localita dell isola. Sicuramente non é tra le migliori spiaggie dell'isola ma comoda da raggiungere e con molti servizi vicini. Negative experience: Me ha decepcionado por lo sucia que encontré la playa. La arena se ve llena de colillas de tabaco y restos de vasos de plástico y otras porquerías. No sé si es porque es ya por la tarde o si suele estar así. El agua está más o menos transparente, pero me metí un rato con mi máscara de buceo y saqué tres bolsas de plástico y una mascarilla quirúrgica. Una pena, la verdad.
