Beach of the Fountains

Fantastic experience: I can't give more stars because it's not possible. Beautiful beach, a magical cove, it doesn't cover and is perfect for children, there are hardly any waves, you can park for free easily, easy access, there are showers, it's quiet, clean... There are boats and slides for rent and bars around. There's a promenade where they set up a mini fair and sell things. We loved it.

Positive experience: One of the beaches in Alcocebre, which they say is named after the freshwater springs that emerge from the sea, I didn’t see any, is equipped with many services, lifeguards, public restrooms, showers and foot washes, children’s and sports areas, rental of pedal boats, umbrellas and hammocks, wooden walkways, trash bins, and there are several bars in the area, and a beach bar on the beach, which is better in the evening than during the day, it gets very crowded, I think it’s one of the most crowded, but there is always space, as it is quite large, parking in the area, if you look around you can usually find it, though if you go a bit late it’s complicated.

Negative experience: We're absolutely disappointed! Last year we fell in love with this beach because it had fresh water springs, paddles of fresh water perfect for little children, this is the reason we came back this year, 2023! And to our horror it was gone! All the pots with springing fresh water, all the beauty and uniqueness of this beach is gone! and why? Because someone complained it's dangerous for kids! We have a 5 and a 2 year old, we stuck our legs in each pot and it wasn't deep at all. All we have left now is memories. La playa de las Fuentes is nothing special now, another regular boring beach. The authorities made a huge mistake!

Positive experience: Beautiful clean beach, plenty of space, free parking nearby, nice walks along the reinforcements.

Fantastic experience: Perfect. Not too big, but more than enough. Close to the port. With a beach bar. Be careful where you enter the water.... the springs come up in part of the shore and if you step on them your foot sinks. A very curious phenomenon. I loved it.

Fantastic experience: Un maravilla de playa, brota agua dulce por distintas zonas de la playa y muy fresquita aliviando el calor y refrescando el agua del mar. Lo único cuidado que donde mana el agua y burbujea te hundes un poco y si no te das cuenta te llevas un pequelo susto

Fantastic experience: The beach is sandy, although in the area closest to the port it usually has quite a few seaweeds. It's a quiet area with not many crowds where there is space to grab your piece of sand and have some privacy. The waves are moderate and there is a lifeguard. Highly recommended for children as it doesn't get deep for a while and it is good.

Now there is a channel that winds and crosses the beach in the middle. The environment is very well cared for and overall the part facing the sea in Alcossebre is frankly very beautiful. Fantastic experience: We stayed a few years ago at Hotel Las Fuentes, looking at the photos I realized that I hadn't written a review of this wonderful and original beach. A small but great beach, with its 400 meters long and an average width of 40 meters, during the summer this is a very crowded beach. It's surprising that you can walk on the sand even stepping into the salty water, there are springs from which fresh water emerges from the sand coming from aquifers, the fresh water mixes with the sea water and that makes this beach unique. Besides this fact, it has all the services and entertainment for us to enjoy this place.

Positive experience: The water doesn't seem very clean. It has a lot of suspended solids. I know that at some point it has had e. coli (a bacteria associated with fecal contamination). And it has been closed for bathing. In September it is a quiet beach. It gives me the impression that in summer it must be completely crowded, given the high density of apartments and hotels surrounding it. It has a beach bar, sunbed rentals, and pedal boats. There is a lifeguard.

Positive experience: Bonita playa y alrededores. Muy recomendable para familia con niños. Opción de alquiler de patinetes y hamacas. También hay opción de alquilar paddle surf y puesto con masajes a pie de playa. Por último destacar que hay chiringuito y a socorristas súper amables

Positive experience: Buena playa para bañarse, hay socorrista, aseos, duchas, chiringuito, hamacas y sombrillas para alquilar... Tiene bandera azul. El agua está limpia y hay sitios donde salen chorritos de agua que hacen de este lugar un entorno privilegiado.

Positive experience: Curioso y bonito lo de los manantiales naturales. Hace años no había tantos y por tanto la playa era más grande. Ahora hay poco espacio, pero es una playa ideal para hacer paddle surf o similar porque es muy tranquila. Algo masificada de familias y niños. En general bien.

Positive experience: Bonita playa y alrededores. Muy recomendable para familia con niños. Opción de alquiler de patinetes y hamacas. También hay opción de alquilar paddle surf y puesto con masajes a pie de playa. Por último destacar que hay chiringuito y a socorristas súper amables

Positive experience: Esta playa produce dos sensaciones opuestas. Hay gente que le encanta y gente que no le gusta nada. Tiene la peculiaridad de que siempre está "mojada", gracias a sus fuentes subterráneas. Personalmente, creo que aún siendo algo incómoda por la humedad, con niños pequeños está genial porque disfrutan el doble con la arena y además se lo pasan "pipa" pescando peces por la orilla. No es muy grande y en temporada alta se llena bastante

Fantastic experience: Playa ideal para ir con niños. Hay poco oleaje al estar protegida por espigones, y además tiene manantiales de agua en la arena lo que permite horas de diversión para hacer construcciones en la arena.

Fantastic experience: Excelente playa, hemos ido en julio, el agua estaba bastante clara y muy calma, había cierta diversidad de peces casi en la orilla. Ambiente familiar. No muy concurrida, principalmente de la gente que visita las edificaciones cercanas. Las fuentes que brotan de la arena y el arroyo son de agua fría salobre y una excelente diversión para los niños. Duchas y lavapies. Hay servicio de hamacas y un chiringuito bastante grande. Alquiler de botes a pedales con toboganes y kayaks. Puesto de salvavidas y primeros auxilios.

Fantastic experience: Muy chula para los niños, arena fina, fuentes de agua que salen de la arena y si las pisas son agujeros muy divertido para jugar. Playa que no cubre, eso si el agua de las fuentes muy fresquita!

Positive experience: És sorprenent el tema de les fonts en l'arena, com fluïxen. Molt divertit per als xiquets.

Positive experience: Bonita playa.. De tamaño pequeño, es muy acogedora. Dispone de baños publicos, parque infantil, zona de diversos deportes, duchas, servicio de cruz roja, bar.. Esta ubicada en una zona tranquila y bonita. Es ideal para familias con niños porque el agua es poco profunda. Como curiosidad debe su nombre a pequeñas fuentes de agua dulce que emanan de diferentes zonas de la playa..
