Luarca Beach
Information
Luarca Beach is a beautiful spot that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and picturesque surroundings. The beach is characterized by its soft golden sand and crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for relaxation and enjoying the sound of the waves. Many visitors appreciate the tranquility and family-friendly atmosphere, while the nearby fishing village adds to the charm of the area.
However, some users have noted that the beach can become crowded during the summer months, and access can be complicated due to steep stairs. Additionally, high tide often covers much of the sandy area, leaving limited space for sunbathing. Parking can be a challenge, but there are public parking options available nearby.
Visitors also mentioned the presence of algae, especially when the tide goes out, which can affect the bathing experience. Moreover, local regulations prohibit dogs on the beach and limit pedestrian access, which some found to be disappointing. Overall, while Luarca Beach has its drawbacks, many agree that it's a lovely location worth visiting for its stunning views and peaceful setting.

Fantastic experience: Good beach and great parking area.
Positive experience: It's better to leave the car in the public parking.
Positive experience: I don't like it at all, it's a gloomy beach. You can get there with Google Maps, there is little parking, and there are few places to eat. But otherwise, to access the beach, you have to go down some stairs.
Negative experience: Not only does it not allow dogs, which is the general trend in Spain, but you also cannot walk on the access designated for pedestrians due to an absurd municipal order that prohibits it. Luarca City Council, please look into it.
Positive experience: High tide covers the whole beach, therefore all the sady area was wet. A lot of free parking on the street.

Fantastic experience: A wide cove sheltered from the attacks of the sea by both breakwaters houses the so-called first and second beaches of Luarca, which make up a single very crowded beach in the summer season and belongs to the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast.
Positive experience: Original arena gris
