Es Trenc
Information
Es Trenc is a stunning beach known for its fine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it a popular destination in Mallorca. It is particularly family-friendly with shallow waters that are ideal for swimming.
However, visitors often mention some drawbacks:
- Access to the beach can be challenging, with narrow and bumpy roads leading to the parking area, which costs around 8€ for the day.
- The beach tends to get overcrowded, especially during peak season, so arriving early is recommended to secure a good spot.
- While the beach is beautiful, there are complaints about the presence of seaweed along the shore and a lack of facilities, such as clean restrooms and shade.
- There are a couple of beach bars offering snacks and drinks, but prices can be on the higher side.
In summary, while Es Trenc boasts stunning natural beauty and a picturesque setting, visitors should be prepared for crowds and limited amenities.

Positive experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, a bit crowded in summer, the parking is very far... but it's beautiful
Negative experience: Worst place we visited in Mallorca, 8€ parking, ugly beach, access with car is narrow and bad roads, parking lot full of puddles and mud. Do not bother to go there, plenty of free amazing beaches around the island.
Negative experience: This beach is advertised as Mallorca’s longest white sandy beach with turquoise waters, but it doesn’t live up to the hype. To get there, you have to drive down a ~3km dusty dirt track. We were fine in a Defender and are confident drivers, but it’s narrow, single-lane, and gets congested, especially since there’s only one way in and out. Parking is €5 (flat rate), and there’s still a walk to reach the beach. Once you’re there, it’s overcrowded—we visited around 7pm, and it was packed. I can’t imagine how busy it must be during the day. Facilities are basic—a small shack for drinks and snacks—and the toilets? Absolutely not. The sunset swim was nice, but with so many beautiful beaches on the island, I wouldn’t go out of my way for this one.
Positive experience: Swimming with fish in the turquoise sea! But the path is very narrow! In the early morning, the sea is calm and clean, in the afternoon the sea is wavy and it's hard to find a spot on the beach!
Negative experience: It's impossible to find parking that's at least 2km away from the beach. In disbelief, we tried to get closer by car, and once we arrived, there were only half-empty private parking lots that wouldn't let anyone in. Even though it seemed to me that the disorganization regarding parking is a characteristic of Mallorca, this (along with Cala Deja) was the worst experience of the vacation. It's not worth it; there are many other similar beaches that are much more convenient.

Fantastic experience: You pass by the salt pans... a natural environment with protected animals... paid parking... then you walk to the beach which has bars and restaurants... further down there is a nudist beach... but you walk quite a bit...

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The water was so clean. It's an easy way to get there by public transport from Palma or Arenal. I recommend going deep into the beach, where there are fewer people. Bear in mind that there are a lot of nude people here, so be sure that you want to go with children :)

Fantastic experience: Lovely beach, clear water, fine sand. Salines parking at €8 entry. The path to the beach is filled with litter and bad smells, but once on the beach, it’s quite clean. There is a naturist area present. From the Salines parking, walk to the beach, walk for about ten minutes along the beach, and you will find the naturist/nudist area.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with fine sand. Gently sloping, ideal for children. A nice little beach bar. The parking lot is very far away, but it's worth it.
Fantastic experience: We discovered the beach from our sailboat. It is magnificent. A sand of dazzling whiteness and thus crystal clear water. The ground slopes very gently, making it very safe to swim. From the second bunker to the third, the beach is nudist. Please be sure to respect the prohibition of going into the dunes. It is a natural space.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with fine sand. Gently sloping, ideal for children. A nice little beach bar. The parking lot is very far away, but it's worth it.
Positive experience: We were very disappointed and saw nothing of what the most beautiful beach in Mallorca would be. Maybe we were just not in the right spot, that could be. Shoulder to shoulder in the blazing sun, no sunbeds or umbrellas for rent and in the distance no beach bar or anything like that in sight, so unfortunately we paid the parking fees for nothing and had to leave. The only positive point is the nature reserve where we saw flamingos.
Positive experience: Very well-known and crowded beach, as expected... Paid parking (€8 for cars and €3 for motorcycles) but if you don’t have cash, whatever the vehicle, you pay a minimum of €5!! Very easy access to the beach. People 'go like sheep' and settle in the same spot, next to the beach bar. Therefore, if you walk a little more, you'll find some 'away' spot from all that crowd. Very long beach with flat and clean water. It doesn't cover much.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear waters. The parking costs €8 per car. There are no trash bins, so whatever you bring, you take it back with you just like you brought it. It’s a beach that gets very crowded, especially in July-August, but that doesn't take away from its beauty. The parking is very large, and the path to the beach is flat. There are two beach bars with basics to buy: chips, sandwiches, drinks, and ice creams, but queues often form during peak hours. There is surveillance available. Depending on how the wind blows, it can bring seaweed (unavoidable) or there might be no wind at all, and then it’s like a pond, beautiful. I'm surprised by the amount of incivility I see: abandoned trash, broken umbrellas left behind, cans, bottles... 'JUST LIKE YOU CARRIED IT TO BRING IT, CARRY IT TO TAKE IT BACK, PIG!'
Negative experience: Great disappointment. Parking is 8 euros (which would be okay), but at the beach there is ZERO infrastructure. No sunbeds, no toilets, you have to buy an umbrella for 20 €, which breaks with the first gust of wind, the beach is extremely crowded. Long lines at the beach bar, expensive prices, everything is full of seaweed, the water is a milky broth... never again.

Fantastic experience: Once again this year we were at the most beautiful beach in Mallorca for us... We were there from 12:00 to 18:00 in the area of Ses Covetes and parked at the official parking lot. From there, it's a 20-minute walk to the beach, but this way, you avoid the chaos caused by the many cars in the narrow streets. Once at the beach, there is hardly any sign of the hustle and bustle in the small town. It is very quiet here, as it never really gets crowded even in peak season. At the latest after another 5 minutes, there is plenty of space. We find it delightful here; the colors of the sea are like in the Caribbean, the beach slopes very gently down to the sea, and the view into the distance is not disturbed by any hotel or similar. During our time in August, the water was 28 degrees warm, and despite the fresh wind, there were hardly any waves. Although there are a few loungers and umbrellas for rent, they are not worth mentioning. The beach is also supervised by lifeguards, and if you want something to eat or drink, you will find a small wooden hut here.
Positive experience: We were here yesterday to see for ourselves whether this beach is the most beautiful beach in Europe or disappointing and full of garbage. Anyone coming here right now to spend a nice day with family on a well-maintained sandy beach will surely be disappointed. The largest part of the beach is covered with brown seagrass, and unfortunately, there is also a lot of plastic waste lying around. Nature lovers may see the beach differently because the seagrass is a sign of an intact ecosystem, and one can enjoy walking on the almost empty beach. However, the garbage is also undeniable for nature lovers, and therefore I find the idea of giving visitors garbage bags and waiving the parking fee if they return it with collected garbage to be an excellent idea.
Negative experience: I had read that this beach was the best in Mallorca and I came super disappointed. Don’t trust the photos you find on Google with that white sandy beach... It is full of trash (uncivilized people), a super unpleasant smell, and the shore is full of garbage (I found a glass beer bottle and a diaper). To top it off, on the day I was there, there were jellyfish and they put up the flag. Many bathers with stings, including me. However, the lifeguards took very good care of us and treated all of us. My congratulations to those workers, but not for the beach.
Fantastic experience: The beach is very large and apparently has several entrances, I'm not sure, I'm going to comment on the one I entered. The parking is big and costs €8, there is a machine for water and soft drinks. You pass in front of Las Salinas which can be visited, if you want to do it that is the time because you pass by the same door, the path is good and the beach is very large, with white sand and it doesn't cover, where we set up there was a lifeguard, restrooms, and a beach bar that served food and drinks to take away. I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: What a marvellous beach. I just did snorkelling this morning there. The water is clear, and you can see different fish creatures. For me, this is one of the great experiences that I had in Mallorca.
Fantastic experience: Nothing to envy from a paradise. Warm and crystal-clear water. Moreover, its shallow depth allows for snorkeling and enjoying the local wildlife. The downside is the parking, which costs 8 euros and you have to access it via a long and narrow road that experiences traffic jams during peak hours. If you are thinking about going in a van, forget it. It can be a suicidal mission. Going early ensures you arrive easily, and to leave it's advisable to do so as late as possible since at noon the parking fee is 4 euros, when there is the most traffic, making it take a while to exit. Still, the wait is worth it as it is a spectacular natural landscape.
Fantastic experience: Playa de agua cristalina, perfecta para hacer snorkel, tiene parking en el que hay que pagar 5€, hay chiringuito

Fantastic experience: Exactly at this point, clean and clear water, no seaweed and few people on the beach including several naturists. We arrived on foot from Colonia San Jordi where we stayed, without having to park the car in the parking lot near the beach, a point where the water was 'swampy.' We walked through the other beaches in between, some clean and with clear water, others with seaweed, but the walk was pleasant.
Positive experience: The water is still the same as it was many years ago. Unfortunately, various sections of the beach are unsightly due to washed-up seaweed, making it impossible to go into the sea. The beach also looks unkempt since it was declared a natural beach.
Fantastic experience: Excellent. The beach is in top condition. There is little to no trash around. The beach has its own parking lot, which requires a fee of €8. The way to the parking lot is very difficult, as the paths are quite narrow, and you have to drive very carefully due to possible oncoming traffic. On the way from the parking lot to the beach, there is a small stand where you can buy cold drinks (in cans). I paid €8 for 4 cans, which is quite reasonable since the drinks are chilled. There are also several stands on the beach where you can buy drinks and various other items. A visit there is worth it.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach.
Fantastic experience: Dreamlike beach, clean water, well-maintained nature reserve.
Fantastic experience: Evenings at sunset are the most beautiful.
Positive experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, a bit crowded in summer, the parking is very far... but it's beautiful
Negative experience: Dirty. Nowhere else on the island is there such a mosquito plague as at this beach.
Negative experience: Paid parking in front of the beach costs 5 euros at 4:30 PM on Monday, November 18th? It's almost free all over the island at that time.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach even though it's November...
Fantastic experience: This is a great beach
Positive experience: It was nice, but damn a lot of mosquitoes. We were a kind of buffet - think about protection!
Negative experience: Worst place we visited in Mallorca, 8€ parking, ugly beach, access with car is narrow and bad roads, parking lot full of puddles and mud. Do not bother to go there, plenty of free amazing beaches around the island.

Positive experience: I spent a whole afternoon on the beach, it was very beautiful. We were just a bit hindered by the crowd, but well, in mid-August, that's somewhat normal. We had ice creams at the kiosk that sells drinks, etc. The prices were quite high. €4.50 for a small ice cream.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with fine sand. Gently sloping, ideal for children. A nice little beach bar. The parking lot is very far away, but it's worth it.
Negative experience: It's not worth it! - Very cumbersome access, as the road is not wide enough - €5 parking (August 2024) - Beach very crowded and a lot of trash
Fantastic experience: Once again this year we were at the most beautiful beach in Mallorca for us... We were there from 12:00 to 18:00 in the area of Ses Covetes and parked at the official parking lot. Fantastic experience: The beach is one of the best in the area... we went from 8 am to 12 pm and it was great in terms of people.. after that time it gets very crowded.
Positive experience: Unfortunately, no longer the hidden gem and thus extremely crowded beach sections! Such a shame... it was one of my favorite places.
Positive experience: In itself a beautiful beach, plenty of parking (8 EUR for the whole day) but far too crowded and partly covered with algae & co. In my view, it's not necessarily worth it or by no means a must-see - there are other beaches in the north that are much more beautiful.
Fantastic experience: We loved this place!! Mallorca in August is really to be avoided because of the crowds, as this place has so much potential but the people ruin everything... this place is really one of the only ones where we were at peace without anyone around.
Positive experience: The beach is big and beautiful to see. The parking will cost you €8 for a car. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear. There were quite a few people present, we advise you to go early to avoid being on top of each other.
Fantastic experience: Arrived around 4 PM when everyone was leaving: great! Quiet, spacious beach, we were able to set up our umbrella without being next to other people. The only downside: mosquitoes that attack once the sun goes down... at that moment, everyone flees the beach.
Negative experience: I don't know when you have to come here to take the pictures that you see everywhere. The beach is completely overcrowded and dirty. So unfortunately, it has nothing to do with worth seeing. Aside from the €8 parking fee.
Positive experience: The place would be great if someone cleaned the beach. A lot of dried seaweed effectively ruins the impression of 'pristine clean water and white sand'. The toilet has an unbearable stench. Zero shade. Parking is 8 euros no matter if you enter for an hour or for the whole day. The only plus is the water.
Negative experience: Easily accessible by car and for 8€ daily parking ticket. The beach is relatively long and has enough space. What is negative is the water, which is full of algae and pollution. There are no trash bins anywhere. A return visit is not an option.
Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful. It's worth going early in the morning. This way, you can enjoy it almost alone. By noon, there are then extremely many people. You can hardly get to the water because there are so many beach towels and umbrellas. Parking costs € 8.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach! Caribbean! I recommend arriving early in the morning (gates open at 9:00 AM for a cost of €8) to see the beach at its best without bathers and to take some photos. From late morning, people can put their towels over yours, but if you go to the right of the beach bar, the beach becomes more and more free with the sea becoming bluer. A must-visit! If you arrive after 11:00 AM, I do not recommend taking the path that leads to the parking lot/beach.
Fantastic experience: Crystal clear water, fine sand, and no waves
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach in Majorca, calm and silence.
Positive experience: The beach is worth visiting. What I'm not sure is worth it is waiting under the sun to enter a single expensive paid parking. We drove to Colonia Sant Jordi, parked without any problem, and in 20 minutes walking along the shore, we calmly arrived at Es Trenc.
Fantastic experience: You have to go, swim in the two that border Ses Covetes and let yourself be carried away by the enjoyment of almost virgin beaches with super quality.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach in Mallorca. It's very long and even though it gets crowded, you can always find a spot, although I recommend arriving early (we didn't have a problem around 10). Parking costs €8 and the path is sand for 5 minutes until the beach. There is a toilet but there was no water. There are no showers and it's a place without bins (you have to take your trash with you, although it doesn't cost anything). There were some seaweeds but it's a beautiful beach, it wasn't dirty like I had read here.
Positive experience: You have to pay for parking and really for me Mallorca has better beaches. It's true that the color of the water is beautiful, but then it accumulates a lot of algae on the shore and in the sand. You have to walk quite a bit from the apartment to a good area. It's true that it was the least crowded beach I went to in Mallorca, but it's also true that it was the one I liked the least.
Positive experience: Perhaps the most beautiful and natural. Bring an umbrella and food because the only comfort is a rather expensive bar.
Fantastic experience: How can one say that it is not a spectacular place? The beach is a bit narrow but long, there are a few seaweeds (unfortunately all over the island), easy to reach, the sea is stunning. Be careful, once you arrive at the beach, walk for about ten minutes and you will find yourself in paradise. Presence of nudists.
Fantastic experience: A very, very long beach with wonderful water. The adjacent nature reserve invites you to treat everything with care and not to dispose of garbage carelessly.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, easily accessible on foot. We parked in a parking lot about a 15-minute walk away, a bit tiring during the hottest hours.
Fantastic experience: Long ocean-like beach, with sand and crystal clear water, very clean. Surrounded by a protected pine forest as a nature reserve and salt flats, this paradisiacal beach is also known for its nudist attendance; a specific part of the beach is frequented by the LGBT+ community. The main parking 'es trenc' is closed on weekends and during peak hours as it is full, so it is advisable to access from the nearby village of Ses Covetes where it is easier to find parking, unless you go early in the morning. It is recommended to come equipped with water, food, and a beach umbrella since the beach bars are only located at the end of the beach.
Negative experience: Extremely dirty beach, has stones and debris, not recommended to go, the city council should spend money on cleaning the beach, as it is very touristic, we were very disappointed, everything was bad.
I'm surprised by the amount of incivility I see: abandoned trash, broken umbrellas left behind, cans, bottles... 'JUST LIKE YOU CARRIED IT TO BRING IT, CARRY IT TO TAKE IT BACK, PIG!'
Fantastic experience: Paradisiacal. I recommend going around 10 am. After 1 pm, it tends to get quite crowded.
Fantastic experience: The beach is very beautiful, quite crowded at first, but there are more free areas in the middle. The waters are super clean, it looks like a corner of paradise. The parking for cars costs 8 euros a day, a bit exaggerated considering there are more beautiful beaches with free parking, but it was on our must-have list and we stayed since we traveled for 1 hour. We entered through the salt flats area, where you can see flamingos. There is a bit of a line to enter, perhaps you can get in faster early in the morning.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful clean beach. Long lines for parking...
Negative experience: Attention! Thief gang! Men with sports bags are lying in the shade, women are looking for victims, and two more women are searching the bags. Even the rental car keys are stolen. This beach was so crowded that it was easy pickings.
Positive experience: Free beach, there is no possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrellas and only one small kiosk. Ample parking, easily accessible and costing €8 per day. I was there at the end of July, the experience did not meet high expectations: the beach was full of seaweed and the sea was only swimmable by going very far out. Before going there, ask the locals if it is a good time, they will always advise you for the best.
Positive experience: It used to be better, now it's too crowded for my taste. The beach is one of the best in the world, that’s understandable, but parking comes with a fee and the management is poor.
Fantastic experience: It's a beautiful beach with turquoise water. It's one of the best. No negatives.
Fantastic experience: Best place to be, but it's too busy we cannot enjoy the water
Positive experience: They say it is a very beautiful beach but unfortunately I went when it was very cloudy and couldn't appreciate it much. It looks very lovely and has a large coastline :)
Fantastic experience: It's a paradise, crystal clear water, white and fine sand... we arrived at 10 am and had no problem with parking.
Fantastic experience: It is really spectacular, unfortunately the only place where you can buy drinks or food is where the lady who serves is quite rude and uncouth. A beach where the water is crystal clear blue.
Positive experience: Unfortunately, the sand is rarely cleaned regarding seaweed. The water was clear. You have to walk about 30 meters into the sea before the water gets deeper.
Negative experience: Absolutely not worth the drive! There's nothing beautiful about the beach, there's only a risk of a scratched car since the road out there is very narrow.
Fantastic experience: White sandy beach. Unfortunately, it gets very crowded during the peak season. The parking is paid and it's a few minutes walk to the beach. The restroom is dirty.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, the water has a really lovely color. Don't be swayed by those negative reviews, in my opinion it's worth coming here, but be careful - don't just lay down as soon as you get to the beach, instead go further to the right, about 10 minutes from the entrance - there the beach and water are very clean, and I suspect that if you went even further it would be even more beautiful. So there's no need to take the easy way and lay down like cattle one after another, just take a little walk and enjoy the nice beach and water ;)
Fantastic experience: beautiful beach very nice late afternoon!
Positive experience: Beach without any shade, really crowded and only one parking that charges €8.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with clear sand and crystal clear waters. The access is a bit complicated but it's worth it.
Negative experience: Dirty beach, full of seaweed, crowded with people, and €8 for parking. You might as well stay on the public beaches they’re just as unattractive as this one. Additionally, I find the whole island overrated there’s nothing paradisiacal about it. In Palma, there are old apartment buildings and lots of cars. In short, I didn’t like Spain at all.
Fantastic experience: What a marvellous beach. I just did snorkelling this morning there. The water is clear, and you can see different fish creatures. For me, this is one of the great experiences that I had in Mallorca.
Fantastic experience: Fabulous beach, fabulous water, fabulous sand, definitely a fabulous experience, having a sobrasada sandwich with a nice cold beer on that beach. Since it's so long, you're sure to find your corner, but you already know that access gets more complicated due to the influx and the excessive publicity on social media.
Negative experience: Super crowded, you have to pay for parking, traffic, the road is bad and very narrow. The sea was very rough today and almost impossible to swim but they still charge you for parking.
Negative experience: The saddest beach we visited during 2 weeks in Mallorca. A lot of seaweed, very murky water, there's nothing to do.
Negative experience: People, don't do it to yourselves. We were mega disappointed... We come from the coast ourselves, and it was no different than at the Baltic Sea... Everything full of seaweed, the water obviously much warmer, but really nothing special. On top of that, the 8€ parking fee...
Negative experience: Don't go there. Simply disappointing. I cannot understand that today in the Augsburg News Es Trenc is called the No. 1 top travel destination. We were here last time 7 years ago, and everything was fine then. The beach is no longer maintained. The sand is partly gone. Rocky. Dead seagrass everywhere. It stinks! Although nature conservation is being trampled on in Mallorca, they now want to enforce nature conservation strictly here. Unbelievable what is happening here in Mallorca.
Positive experience: Very nice beach. But it requires good preparation. Point 1: The toilet is definitely not recommended. It is best to do the last toilet visit 'before arrival' and then only again 'after departure'. I don't even want to describe the condition of this toilet here (there was no flush and the smell could cause nausea in sensitive people). Point 2: We paid €8 for admission. But even though this limits the number of visitors, it was very crowded. Point 3: definitely remember sun protection; there is no shaded area here! Point 4: there is a small beach bar with drinks and snacks, but only for cash. Point 5: the last stretch is narrow and winding; you also have to expect oncoming traffic. Considering that, it can be a nice experience.
Positive experience: Parking near the beach costs 5 euros, less than a 10-minute walk. Gradual entry into the water. Watch out for stones, we recommend water shoes in some areas. Large beach = plenty of space, but also a lot of people.
Positive experience: Beautiful sandy beach that, when we were there in June, was completely overcrowded. We felt almost like sardines in a can. You can go, but you don't have to have been there.
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water. Unfortunately, there are many people. It opens at 10 AM and the parking is paid: €8.
Fantastic experience: With 7 km in length, the most beautiful natural beach with Caribbean flair in Mallorca. There is even a nudist area in the middle. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: Unfortunately, I can't give it 0 stars, but this experience deserved it. Absolute mass tourism (sure, it is July), but the beach was totally overcrowded and contaminated with leaves and seaweed. I don’t even want to talk about the restrooms... The road there was filled with potholes and so narrow that logically traffic jams formed. You have to pay €5 for parking, even at 5:00 PM. I cannot understand the hype around this beach.
Negative experience: Overrated beach, lots of people, platinum parking €8, dirty
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach where you can find a little corner that is a bit more secluded even when there is a lot of tourism. Wonderful sea.
Positive experience: Nice and very special place; at first the water is full of algae but if you move to the right of the bar towards the nudist area, the water becomes spectacular.
Positive experience: Magnificent beach with white sand and crystal clear water, a superb setting in the middle of a protected reserve (access through the Salineras offers a nice view of salt flats where birds do not hesitate to show up, we even saw flamingos). Paid parking 8€ at the end of the path. However, it is very crowded, the beach fills up very quickly and you have to arrive early in the morning because once the parking is full, access is even blocked by a guard.
Negative experience: Completely overrated! Since 2023, the algae and tons of decaying seagrass are no longer removed 'for environmental protection reasons.' If you want to first walk through meters of rotting seagrass in the summer to reach the clear water after 15 meters, feel free to do so. It's sad how a few environmentalists are holding the entire tourism industry hostage here.
Negative experience: If it weren't for the decaying vegetation lying on the beach and the remnants floating in the water, the beach could look nice. However, you need to remember that there is a narrow road leading to the parking lot, which often gets congested. The national park authorities offer parking spaces (5 EUR). However, keep in mind that there are no bins and only one(!) shared restroom by the beach - which can be challenging due to the large number of visitors. Unfortunately, traces of unrelenting human physiology can be seen in various places (including the parking lot).
Positive experience: Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with this beach. We parked in the huge parking lot where Google Maps directed us, which costs €5 per day, and from there, there is direct access to the beach. As soon as you arrive, there is quite a bit of garbage left there, the beach is overcrowded, and there were also quite a few seaweeds. It’s completely different from what you see in the pictures. Aside from the seaweeds, the sea remains very beautiful, and if you move a little bit, you can also find less crowded spots where you can relax a bit more.
Fantastic experience: Beach and nature! Sea like the Maldives. The shoreline is a bit narrow, with little space to lie in the sun when it’s very crowded, but it’s definitely worth getting there and positioning yourself to the right of the kiosk. Paid parking just a few meters away. Public bathroom is lacking and there is only one kiosk offering snacks and cold drinks.
Positive experience: For me, very overrated. Very long beach of fine white sand, crystal-clear sea if there is no posidonia. Zero fish, nothing else to see or do except look for a free patch of sand amidst hordes of tourists. Perhaps in low season it can be more pleasant, but of all the beaches I have seen in Mallorca, this is the only one I would not return to, not even for the 7 euros of parking.
Negative experience: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the beach. It is nice in itself, but you have to pay 8 euros for parking. If you don't want to burn, you either have to bring an umbrella or, like us, you are 'forced' to buy an umbrella on site for 15 euros. Moreover, the beach is super super crowded. So really no recommendation.
Positive experience: The beach is long but not very wide, magnificent turquoise blue water and white sand. The parking was full at 2 PM :-( possibility to park at Sa Barralinas parking, expect a good 20-minute walk.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, it's recommended to arrive early, limited parking spaces. There is only one toilet there, which unfortunately is not well maintained. The only supply of drinks and food on the beach is very expensive. It's best to buy something from the vendor right after the parking lot on the way to the beach or bring your own.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, long beach. The water is clear and has a great color, nice sand in the water, without stones, algae, etc. There is a toilet and a bar with drinks and snacks on the beach. I recommend parking the car in Ses Covetes (if you can manage to park in the town itself, it’s not expensive) and entering the beach from there. For lunch, I recommend Bar Esperanza right at the entrance to the beach.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, there are seaweeds on the shore, but once you go in, it is clean and crystal clear. The beach is shallow.
Fantastic experience: Worth the visit. Turquoise and warm water. It is in high demand, so it is common to find it overcrowded. There are no beach facilities with restrooms. Access is via a dirt road and parking has a daily cost of €8.
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach in the south of the island. However, access is very crowded and vehicle parking (car) costs 8 euros, so it's a place where you should plan for the day. There is food available by the seaside (fries, hamburger, pizza, drinks, and ice creams), expect to pay 7 euros for a cone of fries, but it's well served.
Negative experience: Beware of tourist traps. I do not know any other way to get to this beach except through an old one-way street where you sit in traffic for a long time. At the end of this one-way street, there is a paid parking lot. There is only a daily ticket which currently costs €8. Now let's talk about the rip-off: If you decide against parking there, you have a problem. You can only leave via the one-way street which you can only reach from the paid parking lot. This means you can't avoid paying the guy at the gate €8. When you finally reach the beach, you'll find an extremely crowded beach with Instagram-friendly topless women. It's all about seeing and being seen, which shouldn't be my concern. To each their own. What’s not cool is that there are 20-30 boats in the bay, and where there are boats, there are algae. Lots of it. The water is covered with mats of algae in most places, and it continues like this on the beach. You basically end up lying on dried algae, which would weigh in kilos. Unfortunately, a hype has developed here that has made it the ugliest beach during my stay. Better to go to other beaches.
Fantastic experience: Great view, crystal clear water. We went there around 10 am, there was not much wind/people. You need to go to zone 4/sector 1, right side of the beach which is the most beautiful one without algeas. Parking was also calm/no waiting. As commented by many no chaiselongues or shade, so be prepared. I don’t understand why most of the people were sitting in zone 1/closest to the car park with a lot of dirt/algea. Conclusion: go early/stay in zone 4.
Fantastic experience: A very beautiful beach! In one spot on the beach, there are a lot of seaweeds, but otherwise, I recommend this beach for a trip to Spain. However, there are a lot of people on the beach!! Easy access, just a small 2-minute walk, and a parking lot like in a field (forest). Be careful, in the middle of the afternoon, the parking may be a bit full, but there's always space.
Fantastic experience: Paradise beach! Be careful, there are no services; if you don't want to stay in the sun all day, prepare yourself because there isn't a thread of shade!
Negative experience: So I have to say I heard that it is FKK here and a mega beautiful beach. Now I just arrived here and the beach is ugly. There are many much better places in Mallorca with this beach. Avoid €5 for parking, plus there are many families and seaweed in this section!
