Fantastic experience: The beach is very nice, huge parking, and close to the beach with fine sand and clear water. It would be better if they installed showers, but overall it's very good.

Negative experience: Nicebeach, but dogs are forbidden everywhere
Negative experience: Playa en mar Mayor, bastante oleaje, la visitan muchas personas por su cercanía, lo malo la cantidad de piedras en el lugar, entras a la playa y hay muchas pequeñas pero una vez dentro hay de gran tamaño bastante incómodo para estar, tiene buena accesibilidad pero debes buscar puntos para aparcar que no están muy cerca, los buenos se toman muy temprano.
Negative experience: Playa que años atrás era todo un espectáculo pero a día de hoy gracias al ayuntamiento del Pilar dé la Horadada, está masificada de un turismo pesetero, ordinario y con fobia hacía las mascotas que no son bienvenidas.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach of the Mediterranean, very spacious and quiet. It often has seaweed, but it's natural and not a problem. The water is emerald colored and has few waves. In some areas, stones emerge from the bottom, but it has a long coastline with many meters of sandy bottom at low depth. Many families and children, an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience: Great beach, plenty of close by street parking, walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Lovely white sands and sand dunes. Sea a bit rocky to get into, be careful.

Positive experience: We have been coming to this beach for several years, and in the last few it has worsened quite a bit. Some of the sand has been lost, and the remaining sand is full of stones and even debris. And there are two beach bars that have also decreased in quality. By the way, they removed the best one that was there.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular place to spend a day with family. The first thing I want to highlight is the spectacular parking available next to the beach. This makes it much easier to access and spend a relaxing day at the beach without having to walk too far loaded down with all the typical stuff we sometimes bring to the beach. As soon as you leave the parking lot and before entering the beach, you find a square with a beach bar and a playground. There are quite clean public restrooms and a lifeguard station with a fairly complete watchtower. On either side of the beach, there are two beach bars and two more watchtowers. It also offers private umbrellas at a cost of €20 for the day, which includes two loungers and the umbrella; the price is normal for any beach. The beach bars have good prices, and the food is quite acceptable. The service is very professional. The water is warm and quite clean. A highly recommended and safe beach.

Negative experience: I find it incredible that the 'Lifeguards' instead of doing their job at the beach ensuring the safety of the swimmers and respecting the beach rules are 3 'lifeguards' wandering around with a mop and cloths to clean a 4 square meter hut. If they told me that one is monitoring and the other two are cleaning, I would understand it better. But as shown in the photo, it is inexcusable. I hope nothing happens because the beach service leaves much to be desired. P.S. They have been here since around 10:30 am, it is now 11:43 and they are still on the same side of the facade!
Positive experience: Fijn ruim opgezet zandstrand met grote gratis parking achter de "duinen". Strandwacht aanwezig, toiletten, en een aantal strandtenten waar je wat kan drinken en eten. Er zijn ligbedden en parasols te huur; het gedeelte waar deze staan is wat rustiger, zeker aan te bevelen. Ook is in het rustige gedeelte de zee wat lastiger toegankelijk ivm stenen in het water. Dan kun je het beste even een stukje lopen naar waar het drukker is, daar is een langzaam aflopend zandgedeelte in zee, zonder stenen.
Fantastic experience: Me gusta ir temprano ya que se llena enseguida, los peques pueden jugar en la orilla aunque suele haber oleaje y tiene servicios de socorristas, chiringuito, parque infantil, juegos acuáticos.. perfecta para toda la família.
Fantastic experience: Magnífica playa, socorristas de guardia, un par de restaurantes y servicios. No está demasiado ocupado para el verano, pero recomendaría llegar temprano. Llevo más de quince años visitando la zona.

Fantastic experience: Playa de arena fina, limpia y cuidada. Con suficiente aparcamiento junto a ella, además del imprescindible chiringuito. Últimamente bastante llena de gente, antes era menos conocida. Buen baño salvo los días de fuerte viento de levante (entonces está para hacer surf).

Positive experience: Baño del Mediterráneo, el agua es cristalina ideal para hacer snorkel, lo único llévate escarpines ya que para entrar hay montones de piedras y hay que ir con cuidado de no resbalarse

Fantastic experience: Lovely long sandy beach with chiringuitos on the beach and just set back by the boardwalk as well as loos. Can get windy and there are some large flat rocks at some places as you enter the water so need to pick the right spot if swimming. Beautiful views to Torre and El Mojon and lovely place for early morning or sunset walk. Sun doesn't set over the sea but if you get a colourful sunset it reflects off the sea. Plenty of free parking nearby too.
Positive experience: This could be perfect, if Pilar de la Horadadas current Ayuntamiento had nothing to do with it's general upkeep. Sadly, with immediate effect, (2022) holiday makers and locals alike are now forced to park in a "pay only" area and are no longer allowed to use the previous free area in the rambla. Also as far as I have counted, there's only one public convenience for about 2km of beach, holding, even on quiet days, about 500 people and on top of that, despite what the sign says, it's closed from 1800hrs. In my opinion and it's not worth much I'm sure, forcing people to pay to park and keeping their legs crossed is not at all supportive to anyone.
Positive experience: The beach has recently been partially washed away due to a storm. It’s covered in dried seaweed and lots of pebbles mixed in with the sand. There are piles of seaweed in different places. I don’t understand why these haven’t been removed. The beach bars are excellent though. The coconut matting umbrellas are 12 € per day but are dishevelled and broken and need replacing . The beach is very popular with the locals who flock there on weekends. I enjoyed my stay there but the beach needs a serious clean up ..

Fantastic experience: Traveled up the coast and found what must be one of the best beaches in Europe. Several kilometres long and over 40 metres wide in places, the sand is fine, free of stones/pebbles and slopes gently into the very clear warm Mediterranean water. Perfect for everyone. There are even a few cafes olong the beach serving drinks and meals. One not to miss.
