Arenal Beach

Positive experience: Wide and sheltered beach, with parking close to the sand. The slope is very gentle and there is usually a breeze. It's a good beach, although I miss having foot washing systems or showers. Otherwise, it is generally a beach suitable for going with family, right next to it there is a dog beach.

Positive experience: The beach has spacious free parking. We went on a Friday (May) from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM since when the sun goes down, the mosquitoes eat you alive. The beach is calm, there are no waves, and you have a good view of L'Ampolla from there, recommended for sitting with family for a picnic and enjoying the view. If you go after a rainy day, you will see a lot of seaweed on the shore. There are areas with quite a bit of pebbles, but there are also areas where the sand is compact and comfortable to sit on. We loved it and will be back. - It is a fishing area but prohibited from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM according to the signs in the place. The entrance to the parking is like a curb ramp, so if your car is low, be careful when going up.

Positive experience: Beach is very accessible, water is very calm but murky. It's not bad for spending the afternoon or the morning.

Positive experience: Playa muy tranquila y espaciosa. Lo malo que el agua está muy revuelta por ser tan fina la arena, y no se ve el fondo. Por la zona la playa es una balsa de aceite, ni una ola. Ideal para hacer padel surt o para relajarte bañándote.

Negative experience: I have never seen such a dirty beach. It is September 5, 23, many are still on vacation, the season is not over yet!!!! The camping site advertises this beach, but I don't know where the photos come from. It's a cesspool, it stinks, it's full of trash that was probably washed up by the storm from the sea. Unfortunately, there is no cleaning of the fish carcass that is rotting on the beach in sight. Never again! A shame for the children who were looking forward to sand and sea... :-( There is a sign on the beach saying 'No dogs allowed' even though we specifically asked if we could bring our dog here. I think it's allowed, everyone comes with dogs, someone is swimming (logically given the filth). What a pity. 30 degrees and no beach possible....

Fantastic experience: Nice beach to go with your pets and enjoy the relaxation of the crowd of people

Negative experience: Dirty, filthy, filled with families and kids with no dogs...... Couldn't enjoy a time with my puppy. Wouldn't recommend!!!

Positive experience: Playa para perros estrecha pero sin edificios detrás. Se aparca en el lateral de la pista de tierra y no suele estar muy llena. Hace bastante aire.

Positive experience: Natural beach, fine sand and stones on the outside. Inside the water, sand; it doesn't cover anything, it's fantastic for going with children. Beautiful views of the Delta and La Ampolla.

Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, little shade, sand inside the beach but small rocks outside, quiet and without waves, ideal for coming with little ones!

Positive experience: Playa muy larga y estrecha. Acudimos el 15 de agosto pensando que estaría repleta de gente y fue todo lo contrario. Cierto es que el día no acompañó mucho porque estaba a ratos nublado por lo que no podría valorar bien si es una playa muy concurrida. En la zona que estuvimos no vimos que hubiera socorrista ni chiringuito para tomar algo. Bien es cierto que nos colocamos hacia el exterior de L’ampolla. Lo que no me gustó fue la arena pues tenía muchas piedras pequeñas que se hacen muy molestas al andar. También estaba muy sucia el agua además de algas por todos lados, pero esto quizá fuera por el día. El acceso es bastante bueno y el parking no es para nada un problema, lo cual es un punto a favor. Entre la calzada, que es de arena prensada, y la playa hay una pequeña duna la cual hay varios carteles que piden no subir. Fuimos a pasar el día y creo que no volveremos ya que probaremos a descubrir alguna otra playa de la zona.

Positive experience: Bonita playa con facilidades como parking gratuito, que siempre se agradece, con restaurantes cerca, rutas para caminar e incluso observatorios para ver y fotografiar aves.

Cierto es que el día no acompañó mucho porque estaba a ratos nublado por lo que no podría valorar bien si es una playa muy concurrida. En la zona que estuvimos no vimos que hubiera socorrista ni chiringuito para tomar algo. Bien es cierto que nos colocamos hacia el exterior de L’ampolla. Lo que no me gustó fue la arena pues tenía muchas piedras pequeñas que se hacen muy molestas al andar. Positive experience: Goed onderhouden zandstrand met toezicht. Leuk als dat je ding is. Als je gaat snorkelen is er niet veel te zien.

Positive experience: Tranquilidad total. La arena es un poco oscura pero fina. Si alquilas un kayak o pádel te puedes acercar a los flamencos y verlos desde una distancia privilegiada. Eso si respetando su espacio siempre. Brutal!!

Fantastic experience: Donde el mar se funde con el Delta de l'Ebre. Una playa abierta, salvaje, muy especial. Puedes incluso disfrutarlo más intensamente alquilando un kayak. #Ampolla #LetsGuide
