Amplaries Beach

Positive experience: Playa de les Amplaries ist ein langer, breiter Sandstrand mit viel Platz und direktem Zugang zur Promenade von Oropesa. Die Lage ist praktisch für Familien: Es gibt Duschen, Behinderten-Zugang und eine gute Anbindung an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Wasserqualität ist sauber (Blaue Flagge), und der Sand wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Allerdings fehlt es dem Strand an Atmosphäre: Die Umgebung wirkt etwas funktional und touristenorientiert, ohne besondere Naturreize. In der Hochsaison kann es sehr voll werden, und die Liegenverleihe sind überteuert. Der Wind weht hier oft stärker als in anderen Buchten, was nicht jeder angenehm findet. Gut für einen unkomplizierten Badetag mit Infrastruktur, aber weniger reizvoll für those, die Ursprünglichkeit oder Charme suchen. Solide, aber nicht besonders.

Fantastic experience: Overall, it's very good because there is a large green area before the sand, very comfortable for sitting and reading, in addition to having access to the beach of course. The waves are big and in summer it is very crowded.

Positive experience: Good beach. Depending on the area you choose, there are hardly any stones. And it's pretty clean. Easy parking.

Negative experience: Der Strand ist eine Enttäuschung. Der Zugang zum Wasser ist steinig. Am unangenehmsten ist, dass nach dem Sandstreifen im Wasser eine große Anzahl von Steinen übrig bleibt, die nicht sichtbar sind. Ohne spezielle Schuhe sollte man besser nicht ins Wasser gehen, da es einfach gefährlich sein kann. Der Strandstreifen ist schmal, es gibt sehr viele Steine. Der Sand ist grau. Das Wasser ist nicht besonders sauber. Mit kleinen Kindern ist hier unangenehm.

Negative experience: Mucha piedra y una pendiente, para acceder al mar.

Negative experience: Each time worse taken care of. Dogs running loose on the beach despite being prohibited. No surveillance at all. What a shame... because when it comes to collecting taxes, they know where we are. And just to be clear, I have two little dogs.

Negative experience: Playa que se ha dejado mucho, han quitado servicios…(duchas, baños… está llena de piedras y a veces el césped repleto de hormigas..), está mejor mimada la del pueblo… Luego es una zona muy familiar y aún no son capaces de poner una playa para perros… y eso que los más dejados son las personas…una lástima la verdad.

Positive experience: Lo mejor es la zona de césped. Y en invierno puedes ir con tus perros y la playa es para ti. Muy chula. Aunque tiene piedras, pero no se puede pedir todo.

Positive experience: Vast and quite wide beach in Oropesa de Mar. The North part is quite stony and the slopes can make it challenging to reach the shore if you have reduced mobility. The South border is more sandy and has less hills but it is not completely flat. Perfect for a family day.

Positive experience: We went in September and the truth is that there was very little shore and many stones; we didn't find it very suitable for children. However, the area was very quiet at least in September.

Positive experience: The grass area is nice, it's clean and well-maintained. Last year I left a bad review, but this year they are starting to take care of the beach again. The truth is that we quite like this area.

Positive experience: It's not a beach that excites me; the sand is not natural, it's laid down in the form of gravel, which means that when the water washes it, the stones come up. However, it does have the sun.

Positive experience: Muy peculiar, es tranquila y familiar no tiene ningún puesto para turistas ni restaurantes a pie de playa tiene mucha piedra que parece que están limpiando y una zona de césped bastante agradable con palmeras

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with lovely typical ceramic benches from the area, grass to lay your towels, beach bars right on the shore, and nice gardens.

Positive experience: Aguas tranquilas pero con muchas rocas, piedras y algas, recomiendo calzado especial para bañarse. Zona muy tranquila, con pocos restaurantes. A destacar es que hay mucho cesped junto a la playa.

Fantastic experience: Una playa completa. Tiene zona de arena, de piedras y mucho césped. Duchas y lavapies cada cierto espacio. Puesto de socorristas, casetas S.O.S. y motos de agua para socorro en mar. Zona balizada para embarcaciones, y zona de hidropatines con toboganes. Muchas palmeras para sombra al medio día y al ser playa de Levante por la tarde hay sombra por los edificios.

Positive experience: El agua esta limpia, faltarían espigones, pero es artificial tiene piedra y encima echan la ,arena ,cuenta con socorristas y patines con tobogán

Negative experience: Solemos venir todos los años siempre ha estado limpia pero este año está muy sucia con mascarillas en la arena vasos de plástico y latas lo comenté con un socorrista me dijo que daría parte pero sigue estando igual de sucia

Positive experience: The stones are a real drag. The grass is 50 meters from the water and you have to cross the strip of stones, which doesn’t make it exactly comfortable...
