Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. For all sun lovers, you absolutely have to come in the morning. ☀️ After 12 o'clock, the beach is completely in the shade due to the surrounding high mountains. This is of course very good for all shade lovers. ☁️ Otherwise, the beach is easily accessible via many stairs. There is a parking lot right by the beach.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches we discovered in La Palma ☀️ Parking is sufficient (we were there at the end of August); the walk takes about 10 minutes and is easy to manage. Just for photos, the walk to the beach is worth it; even if you don't have swimming gear with you, we didn't swim, so I can't say anything about the current and the waves; there were many people in the water, though. Nevertheless, there are definitely more suitable beaches for swimming in La Palma. However, the beach is definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, it is the most beautiful beach in La Palma. Its black sand and the cliffs surrounding it make this beach a wonder of nature. I highly recommend it; it's true that the access is a bit tiring as you have to go down many stairs, but believe me, it is totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: This is a very beautiful beach. Access is first by car and then on foot via a staircase. Also suitable for families. Our 5-year-old daughter and our 2-year-old son were able to play wonderfully in the shade on the beach in the afternoons. Swimming here with children, at least when we were there, is rather not recommended due to high waves and currents.

Fantastic experience: Stunning place, secluded and well equipped for such a hard reach (there is even a DIY shower with freshwater). Kudos to whoever maintains the trail with stairs and the waterpipe there. Shame on those who leave garbage in the beach, turning it into a toilet (for god sake, pack and take your wet wipes with you after doing your business!!!). BEWARE that it can be misleading with very shallow waters on the right, and drastic deep in the middle of the beach!! Strong undercurrent made us very nervous in big waves because we were careless and did not explore before we went there. Beautiful place to explore responsibly.

Fantastic experience: Savage nature and amazing beach. Perfect place especially for surfing. The waves and current are too strong to swim, but it's worth visiting.

Fantastic experience: A beach that is earned... as is often the case for pleasant places in La Palma... but with developed and secure access, obviously with a very beautiful view along the way. Preferably in nice weather and low tide. At the foot of a cliff facing the rising sun, so better in the morning. Local surfers... Apparently, during the week there are never many people... the walk makes a selection... plus, since the beach is in the shade in the afternoon, it mainly attracts those who want to spend a little time between other activities. As is often the case on this kind of beach, a swimsuit is not essential.... In the summer season there is a lifeguard station. Convenient: presence of a shower. Visits: October / November.

Fantastic experience: Black sand beach with impressive waves... Still, it’s not the prettiest in my opinion, the walk to get there is worthwhile, I have never seen so many different colors in the rocks in my life. Undoubtedly one of the best beaches in La Palma.

Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach we have been to in La Palma. A beach that is a must-see! The walk to get there is impressive, and the water is warm. The view is like something out of a movie. We drove there, but it is very steep and dangerous. There is parking before the entrance.

Fantastic experience: The beach can be seen after completing the beautiful goat path. It includes railings and the path can be a goal for someone. The descent down the hill means almost continuous braking. The beach is amazing and there are swimmers from 11 am to 5 pm. The current is quite strong, so I recommend following the instructions.

Fantastic experience: Even though the journey to the parking lot is a bit adventurous and the 600-meter steep path to the beach takes some time - the views of the cliffs and the beach itself are absolutely worth it. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Fantastic experience: Very quiet beach and clean water

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches on the island Bonita, a marvel. An essential place to visit although with caution, as there are strong waves and you need to be careful. Even so, it is worth visiting as it is lovely and usually not very crowded, at least when I was there in June. To access it, there is a good walk, about 15-20 minutes, although it feels short as the views are stunning.

Positive experience: Beautiful paved path and steps from the parking lot to the beach. Unfortunately, only partially suitable for swimming due to strong currents and waves. Visually very nice. Beach shoes are recommended, as the black sand quickly gets very hot.

Fantastic experience: The most beautiful wild beach I have had the pleasure of visiting! The view is otherworldly, the ocean, pitch black sand and the cliff covered in greenery, a wonderful place to swim.

Fantastic experience: Why do we give this long but very narrow beach, which also requires a long trip, 5 stars? Well, it’s not actually the beach itself, but the fantastic location beneath a massive rocky cliff. And... the way there is already a little adventure. You have to conquer a total of 340 steps down to reach the destination. Along the way, the path passes by a slightly lower cave. Whether it’s really worth it is something everyone has to decide for themselves. We only look at it when we are here in La Palma and are happy to endure the effort of climbing back up the 340 steps to the parking lot. Those who do NOT want to go to the beach itself can take the opportunity to catch a stunning view down to the beach from a viewpoint on the left side of the descending road (parking for a maximum of 3 cars!). Not only can you see the beach, but a large part of the cliff coast can also be well seen from here! Fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Super lonely beach, there are enough parking spaces available, please don't leave anything in the car, windows are often smashed here. Bring some drinks and food with you and enjoy the beach until the sun disappears behind the cliffs.

Fantastic experience: For many visitors this is one of the go to places. Does not take away from its beauty. It takes some effort to get down to the beach but the views along the way are simply stunning. There are plenty of parking spaces available as well and it’s easy to reach.

Fantastic experience: It's certainly not the typical beach for sunbathing and swimming, but nature offers an absolute spectacle here. Finest sand, an incredible amount of surface area at low tide in front of steep slopes. One of the most pristine beaches I've ever seen. Also very popular with surfers. Be sure to stop by!

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach on the beautiful island. I counted 365 stairs but it's worth going down and then climbing back up. It is a dangerous beach due to sea currents (there are signs indicating this). Plenty of parking. You leave the car and go down the stairs. The distance is about 800 meters.

Fantastic experience: Brutal beach, one of the best I have been to, the scenery surrounding it is spectacular, I went in December and it was empty. The waves are strong, I do not recommend swimming.

Fantastic experience: The truth is that it is an amazing beach, but if you go in winter you have to go there in the morning. If you go at two, there is no sun anymore. In summer, I suppose that around six or seven, you also won't have sun. So I think ten is a good time to go if your idea is to spend a day at the beach. The path to the beach is spectacular, and the sand is super comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach and easy to reach. There’s a very sensible drive to the parking (unlike some beaches on the island) and then a 5-10 minute walk. Amazing cliffs along the way and on the beach. The only minus is that the beach is pretty narrow so the waves could reach almost all the beach. Not necessarily the best beach if you just want to sunbathe and chill, but definitely worth visiting at least once!

Fantastic experience: Spectacular! The 600-meter mini hike along stairs and wooden railing leads to a beach of fine black sand... Amazing.

Fantastic experience: A small black sand beach, the prettiest on the island, but a complete spectacle to see. You have to go at low tide because it goes out a lot, and when the water recedes, it leaves a much larger and prettier beach. I wasn’t that lucky. However, it wasn't yet high tide, and I could enjoy it. The access to the beach is a bit complicated since you have to go down a lot of steps; I don't know exactly how many, but it takes about 15 minutes to go down, and then you have to climb them back up, but the effort is worth it. You have to be very careful at this beach when swimming because it is dangerous, as it warns you on the sign before you start going down. And pay attention to the flag; when I went, it was red.

Fantastic experience: The entrance to the beach is open and very convenient. About 7 minutes of fast walk. What we see down here is stunning. Go for it Please only remember to take a proper route down in the navi to avoid a very narrow and slopy road.

Positive experience: The beach is very nice, but be careful of falling rocks. Especially at the end of the beach, where the stretch of sand is narrow. I saw the stones falling, I barely escaped.

Negative experience: Sunday 21st we drove to visit this beach. It is closed due to works, the road is closed just before the Mirador. We did walk to the Mirador to look down at this beach. The view was rather spectacular. Some people did park up and walked down to the beach, it looked some distance. From the Mirador we could see people sprawled out on the beach below, despite being informed the beach was closed. It did look as if it had been closed for some time.

Fantastic experience: Really a hidden gem. We enjoyed our afternoon there a lot! It is a black sand beach, not large but sufficient. Be prepared to go down quite some steps before you reach the beach from the parking place, but it is worth it! We didn't swim, but some people did. Be careful though, a Canarian friend of ours warned us that this beach can be dangerous due to its strong currents.

Fantastic experience: This beach is extremely picturesque and dangerous due to strong currents. High clifs, bare rocks, blue ocean waves, black vulacanic sand make this place truly exceptional and breathtaking. What is unusual it's not crowded. I was there in March, the weather was perfect - sunny around 20 C and there were few people, mostly surfers. With caution I also had a bath, the water temperature was ideal. Strongly recommended!
