Fantastic experience: Fabulous beach, paradise-like. On one side, the turquoise water of the Atlantic, on the other, the mountains that frame the landscape... We walked from the city, but there is parking right before you start walking along the beach (in summer, go early because there are not many spots for cars). The best time is 3 hours before low tide or 3 hours after because the lagoons start to form again.

Fantastic experience: Very nice beach. We were there at low tide so there was a bit of a walk to the water. The beach is probably one of those epic and monumental ones.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, there are no other words. Arrive in the morning with low tide and if the wind allows you, stay until high tide, it's definitely worth it. However, it's not easy because the wind really blows hard. You can get there by bus, which will drop you on the main road about two kilometers away, but to return you'll need to call a taxi.

Fantastic experience: A dream beach with a lot of wind. The beach can only be reached by car via a narrow side road. A parking lot is available. On this day we had the beach to ourselves, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't suitable for swimming. Ideal for walking.

Positive experience: To be honest, we arrived because of photos we had seen online. We did not have a good day; there was a lot of wind, which is great for sports but not for spending the day. The sky was overcast and there are no places to take shelter, no cafés or rest areas. Very wild and windy.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach of Sotavento de Jandía, calmer than those in Costa de Calma. Crystal clear water, calm for swimming and clothing is not required. Additionally, there is a place to rent paddle surf, kite, or windsurf.

Fantastic experience: I love it, ideal for windsurfing, they even have a school on the beach for practicing this sport. At low tide, it becomes a wonderful beach, but you have to be careful because the tide rises, and if you're not aware, you can find yourself surrounded by water. You also need to be careful if you're going for a swim because the shore is full of athletes, but well, the beach is huge, and there's space for everyone.

Positive experience: Large stretches of nice sand. The whole area is worth noting. I recommend it even for a walk. You can see surfers nearby.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, you can only get there by car, but once you are there, there are free parking options. The path to the beach can sometimes be challenging because a small stream has developed in front of the beach, which is often filled with a lot of water. Otherwise, the beach is amazing.

Positive experience: We loved the beach !! It's wonderful and different from the others, the only downside is the wind that happens sometimes but you definitely can't miss it.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I can't give more than 5 stars otherwise .... It's a 'crazy' beach that is part of the wonderful Playa de Sotavento, within the Jandia natural park. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world, in my opinion ... absolutely. The scenery around is indescribable. A beach with very fine white sand and a sea with various shades of turquoise that, thanks to the tides, 'changes' continuously creating lagoons, natural pools, sand tongues .... it is a unique place. The only downside is the strong wind, totally 'ruling' the beach. UNIQUE!

Positive experience: It's a spectacular beach but .. * the car parking is a free for all with no provision for the less able and central European campervans hogging all the best spots at the front * you take your life in your hands entering the sea as the place is dominated by windsurfers who can evidently do what they like. All in all, the beaches in the North of the island (Corralejo and Cotillo) beat this hands down.

Fantastic experience: A place of incredible natural beauty. A bit out of the way but worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: Magnificent place! The sea level between low and high tide makes the landscape to transform completely. Both moments have their own beauty. Worth spending a whole day here just to see the greatness of the island. There are not too many shops around so better to came prepared with all you need. Bring water, an umbrella for shade. There are plenty of spots between dunes to sit down and to be safe from wind. Anyway the wind is not strong. Perfect place for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Splendid!

Fantastic experience: It is a lovely spot for both windsurfing and kitesurfing. Would say not so good for just laying on the beach when there is lots of wind. But we loved it nonetheless. Ion club kite and surf rental is right on the beach. Parking right on the beach. Have fun!

Positive experience: nice lagoon, bit wavy for snorkling but good to enjoy the water for a short swim. in February 2k19 water is good enough to swim for 15 - 20m then it gets a bit too cold. nice to spend some time. also a lot of nude people so take that into consideration

Fantastic experience: My favourite Beach for Windsurfing on Fuerteventura. If the swell comes in, you can get some great, long going lefts. On the way out, small waves make some great ramps for frontloops. The wind here often goes up to 30+ knots, so don't forget your smaller sails!

Fantastic experience: The center of the longest, most uninterrupted beach in all of Spain. One can walk 15-20 each way starting in Costa Calma and heading south. But this is the best place for sunbathing. Popular with FKK. Unfortunately the food at the bar is barely edible. Good cold beer though.
