Fantastic experience: One of the prettiest beaches in Fuerteventura. Definitely worth a visit here. Surfer's bay. The best view of the beach is from the hill where campers park. Easy access by asphalt road. You can easily find a place to leave your car.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and wild beach, reachable in a few minutes on a dirt road from the center of Cotillo. The northern part is more frequented by tourists, while the southern area is visited by surfers and windsurfers. There are no services or bars/restaurants in the area. As on the entire west side of the island, it is possible to see very impressive sunsets!

Fantastic experience: A wonderfully beautiful surf beach. There is a lot of (wind)surfing here. But the beach is truly gorgeous. And relatively free of stones. You do have to walk down a bit from the parking lot.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful views of the sea, clean sea, big waves, not suitable for small children to swim, access road without asphalt, sometimes bumps and stones. Wild beaches at the beginning monitored by a lifeguard, further only at your own risk. About two km from El Cotilla, stairs to the beaches, where we saw a squirrel.

Fantastic experience: We found the beach to be super beautiful. It is divided into several areas, so surfers and kite surfers do not come into the area of the bathers. You have a great view over the entire beach and can watch the athletes with excitement. The path is not paved but easily accessible.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Surfing is currently difficult because the waves break almost instantly and there is hardly any white water. One hopes that the sandbank will shift again.

Fantastic experience: We visited 'Playa del Castillo' without any particular expectations, but this beach turned out to be a delightful surprise. The scenery at Playa del Castillo is genuinely stunning. You can choose to stay atop the surrounding cliffs to admire the panoramic views, which are absolutely breathtaking, or you can descend to the beach itself for a more relaxed, chill-out experience. The beach is a popular spot for surfers and kitesurfers, adding an energetic and vibrant atmosphere to the place. However, one downside to keep in mind is the lack of amenities. There are no bars or toilets nearby, so it's essential to come prepared with your own food and drinks. Despite this, the natural beauty and serene environment of Playa del Castillo make it a worthwhile visit, especially for those who appreciate a beach with a lively water sports scene and stunning natural views.

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a beach. Unsure at first, lots of broken glass shards in the car parking area, some bits of litter on the beach itself. Took a while to get settled as it's epically large, clothing optional. Eventually we relaxed, didn't want to leave. Red flag for swimming was up, the guards were proper heroes, letting us splash in the surf, letting us know if we got too far out.

Fantastic experience: Really, really beautiful beach. I arrived on foot from the center of El Cotillo, a pleasant walk and you find yourself with the breathtaking view of this huge beach. Go there, it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: We have seen almost all the beaches. I can assure you that this should be the first one... why? It's nearly 1 km long, 100 meters deep. Even with people, there's space for everyone and a lot of distance. The sea is free of rocks and clean from seaweed. At 10 meters, there's still 130 cm of water. Perfect for families and children. Bring a tent to shield yourself from the sun. In the center, just 10 minutes away, there are restaurants and bakeries for quick and takeaway lunches. I suggest you stop by the bakery-patisserie EL GOLOSO.... they have both sweet and savory options along with first-class coffee!!!!! GO THERE!!! THE BEACH IS CALLING YOU. P.S. Great for kite surfing when the wind is favorable.

Positive experience: Generally a sandy beach, quite wide. Unfortunately, there are no toilets or showers. The water is pleasant, often with larger waves. Overall, a nice area, pleasant sand, but lacking infrastructure to spend more time here - also no bars at this beach. Nice views from above. Black cliffs, distant peaks. Large expanses of fine sand.

Fantastic experience: A natural spectacle at sunset, like a postcard. It's a pity that the waves weren't surfable for 15 days, the beach is monitored by lifeguards. Behind the beach, on the cliff along the dirt path, there are squirrels.

Fantastic experience: Sure, you have to walk a few hundred meters on a dirt road, but this beautiful, long, quiet beach, which is easily reached by a large stone staircase, is worth the visit and also a nice break in the sun to admire the ocean.

Fantastic experience: Great beach, very spacious. Everyone can find their spot without being on top of each other. The waves are usually a bit stronger, but if that doesn't bother you, this is just right. The sand is very fine, a bit darker due to volcanic rock.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach between cliffs divided into areas for surfing and swimmers. It is a bit wild and somewhat dangerous when it is windy. The waves can be very high. But impressive!! There is a lifeguard station and they allow camping with a camper van.

Fantastic experience: The ocean was too wet and the waves were too wavy but I think I can live with it.

Positive experience: Specifically for kitesurfers, this spot is better for surfing because of the big cliff blocking the wind, because of the big cliff it is extremely gusty as in wind can drop completely and suddenly come back hard, constant adjustment is needed. Waves are also big. However the spot is very open and not crowded. I would go abit more down the coast for a better non-gusty conditions.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful day at the beach! Came over from Corralejo to surf and the waves and vibe were great. Well organized sections of swimming, surfing, kite surfing, then surfing again. No refreshments or places to buy anything, so bring your own. The sets were regular, great for beginning/intermediate surfers. Fantastic!

Positive experience: Beautiful not crowded beach. The water is beautiful and usually with shore waves. Good for kiteboarding and occasionally good for surf on the rare occasion is not windy. Lots of close outs If windy and what some rest from the wind, I recommend the northern part of the beach, protected by the cliff. Much more quiet and protected from the north wind and swell
