Fantastic experience: Perfect for watching the sunset, plus it is such a long beach that there is always room to set up on the beach and plenty of parking space around.
Fantastic experience: Excellent place, excellent beach ⛱️⛱️⛱️ and the guys on hut no 7 rule, as they are the best. Found a parking lot across the beach ️️️ 11 min straight walk and it's only 5 euros for the whole day. Port parking near the aquarium.
Negative experience: I just arrived and I already want to leave... The view of the mountains is nice. The beach is overcrowded, the water has moss. Parking is impossible (central beach). This part of the city is quite ugly.
Positive experience: The beach is very nice, spacious.. I give it 4 stars because it is really complicated to enter through the little streets and parking, don't even get me started.. I recommend paying for parking close to the beach and forgetting about it.

Fantastic experience: It will always be my beach, the best for walking, enjoying the sea, its volcanic bar, its beach bars and restaurants, its people, its palm trees, and of course, its fabulous sunsets.
Fantastic experience: A jewel for the city! At low tide, the largest natural saltwater pool in the world, thanks to the offshore reef. At high tide, the beach is naturally cleaned by the seawater. High waves then crash against the promenade. Shortly after, the sea releases the enormous beach again. You can also swim to the reef at low tide. Curious little fish swim around you. The beach is monitored. There is a textile obligation! Dogs are forbidden there. There are beach showers with warm water. At night, the floodlight provides very bright light to relax on the beach or go swimming, and that over 4 km long!!! A jewel for the city!
Fantastic experience: My favorite place on the island, the avenue, the atmosphere, the sea, the restaurants... everything is great, except for the dog ban... that regulation is regrettable. A supposedly advanced city that does not allow you to walk with your family. They should update themselves. I give my 5 stars, but they should take this comment into consideration.

Bom para um passeio na sua costa, envolvido pelo som das ondas a arrebentarem na areia, embaladas pelos surfistas que não deixam escapar dia para praticarem este desporto, que é bem recebido nesta praia. Bons acessos a nível de transporte público. Boa estrutura e passeio na costa. Praia vigiada. Vários restaurentes e cafés que oferecem uma opção agradável para refeições com uma vista fantástica. Pelas características vulcânicas da praia, a areia, em algumas zonas, é preta. Ambiente muito agradável e paisagem muito bonita.
Fantastic experience: Una de las mejores playas urbanas del mundo, con gran oferta para comer y tomar una copa. Hay que tener cuidado por ciertas zonas por las corrientes, pero de resto es una playa muy segura. Ojo, no está permitido llevar mascotas en el paseo.

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent service I receive from you on a regular basis, in addition to the well-known excellent coffee, good music, and better atmosphere, as well as the magnificent, almost unbeatable attention from your staff, starting with the Manager, Luis, to the vast majority of your baristas, with the exception of a couple of people, one of whom no longer works here. Other than that, I can only give outstanding references, which go beyond the brand and its products and directly affect the good work of the human team in charge of your Store. Thank you!
Negative experience: Beach with quite a lot of waves and stones, the sand sticks to your body, I do not recommend it. IT IS NOT LIKE THE PHOTOS.

Fantastic experience: The best urban beach there is, it is a very large beach and above all, very well adapted for people with reduced mobility. It has incredible views, from the beach you can see the beautiful sunset and a huge promenade full of restaurants and shops where you can stroll peacefully.

Fantastic experience: It is the best urban beach in the world. What does that mean? Cleanliness, safety, water quality, services, environment. In short, what more can be said? I could write much more, but it is not necessary, that ranking of being the best says it all.
Fantastic experience: Las Canteras beach is one of the longest in Gran Canaria. It is mostly free, with only a few areas allocated to hotels or private entities. The beach is wide, well-served, and clean, with facilities available like showers and spaces dedicated to bathers. I did not notice any sewage discharges. There are areas dedicated to young people and beach sports, such as volleyball and beach tennis. The promenade along the beach is ideal for running and walking, being wide enough to comfortably allow many people to pass. Numerous venues along the promenade offer various options for tourists, meeting different needs. Additionally, there is a local surveillance service that ensures the safety of bathers.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful wide sandy beach. Lifeguards, showers, and restrooms available. You can stroll along the promenade and there is food and drink offered in the numerous cafés. Not much going on in the offseason in January.
Fantastic experience: Really nice sandy beach and the sea was warm enough for swimming late April 2024. Sun bed and parasol hire the cheapest I've ever come across. Toilets centrally located. The beach was really clean and there were lifeguards on duty. I was pleasantly surprised by this city beach and would love to visit again in the future.

Fantastic experience: It's super comfortable, there is a really nice atmosphere surrounded by stands and places to eat, it's huge, the water is great, and it has 'covered' areas and others for surfers (with waves), an amazing beach.
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful and longest city beach I have visited so far. Luckily, I lived only 400m away from the beach. You can stroll from one end to the other and pause at many cafés and restaurants along the way. At the western end, there are surfers waiting for the waves, while in the east, there are swimmers and families protected by the nearby rock formation. The surf there is not so strong. The sand is great, and the water is remarkably clear.

Fantastic experience: Very diverse and enjoyable beach! Plenty of sand :) ranging from normal gold towards Isleta to almost black near the surfing center. Weather is always warmer during the low tide in the first half of the day, rocks in the ocean are visible and all the rainbow fishes are out and easy to watch - they come close to the bay. You can even feed them-great fun for kids. Also this is a good time for snorkeling as waves are low. In the second part of the day there's high tide and waves are huge, mixed with sand. The ocean takes back quickly most of the beach.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, the sea here is full of garbage. I crossed the bay in a kayak and it was full of pieces of plastic bags, wrappers, and things like that. There are much nicer beaches in other parts of the island, I would skip this one. Not to mention that the prevailing winds blow quite strongly directly onto the coast most of the time.
Fantastic experience: Sehr schöner Sandstrand ! Den Sonnenuntergang hier anzusehen ist sehr empfehlenswert. Der Strand ist wirklich sehr sauber. Es gibt hier so viele Möglichkeiten für die verschiedensten Aktivitäten ( Surfen, Volleyball, Schnorcheln, Kajak fahren, Schwimmen). Die schön angelegte Promenade verläuft direkt am Strand entlang, dort gibt es unzählige Restaurants, Bars, Fast Food und Geschäfte zum Einkaufen. Es ist wirklich sehr toll hier und dass alles direkt in der Hauptstadt Gran Canaria’s.

Fantastic experience: My beach from childhood, where I grew up during the 70s and 80s, I returned in the 90s until 2001, great memories of my childhood and adolescence, exploring the places in the area and snorkeling in the reef, the cake area, camel, and catching waves at Las Cícer. Walking all the promenade from La Puntilla to the auditorium and breathing in the smell of salt.

Wanted a sangria and got charged 20€ for 2 small glasses. Then read reviews and found a place that sells a litre for 16€ in a jug and was much better quality.
Fantastic experience: Really nice sandy beach and the sea was warm enough for swimming late April 2024. Sun bed and parasol hire the cheapest I've ever come across. Toilets centrally located. The beach was really clean and there were lifeguards on duty. I was pleasantly surprised by this city beach and would love to visit again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Large beach section in Las Palmas, ideal for winding down the day. The restaurants and cafes along the promenade invite you to linger. The changing rooms, including lockers, are even free, and the facilities are quite clean.
Fantastic experience: Very long promenade, with an endless number of small hotels overlooking the ocean. And the same endless number of cafes and restaurants. The blue ocean with crystal clear water. A wonderful place for walks and relaxation.
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful and longest city beach I have visited so far. Luckily, I lived only 400m away from the beach. You can stroll from one end to the other and pause at many cafés and restaurants along the way. At the western end, there are surfers waiting for the waves, while in the east, there are swimmers and families protected by the nearby rock formation. The surf there is not so strong. The sand is great, and the water is remarkably clear.
Positive experience: Spectacular weather, a clean beach, pleasant, in a wonderful city, I wish I were on the peninsula to be able to go often.

Fantastic experience: The promenade in the city of Las Palmas. The contrast of seeing the beach in the city and being able to enjoy a swim or a drink/meal with the views makes it a must-visit place in Gran Canaria.
Negative experience: I just arrived and I already want to leave... The view of the mountains is nice. The beach is overcrowded, the water has moss. Parking is impossible (central beach). This part of the city is quite ugly.
Fantastic experience: Who dares to criticize it? Las Palmas beach, an essential and entertaining promenade. The main attraction of the capital, a must-visit.
Positive experience: The beach is very nice, spacious.. I give it 4 stars because it is really complicated to enter through the little streets and parking, don't even get me started.. I recommend paying for parking close to the beach and forgetting about it.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to find a better beach right in the city and capital. It's an amazing piece of beach, for everything. The sand, the sea, the natural barrier that usually keeps the tide more contained, the shops, the Alfredo Krauss auditorium, La Puntilla, the showers, the access points, the promenade. Always spectacular any day of the year.
Fantastic experience: Las Canteras beach is about 4 km long. Alongside it is the promenade, which has lots of bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and cafes. The sand is very fine and pleasant, perfect for sunbathing. You can enjoy the beach even in winter. Additionally, you can play volleyball. It's always lively. I recommend it.

Positive experience: Very beautiful city beach with a great promenade and many restaurants and cafés. Several rental stations for sun loungers and umbrellas. Current prices (March 24) are 3 € per sun lounger and umbrella.
Fantastic experience: We had our apartment right on the beach. This way we could watch the wonderful sunsets in the evenings. The beach is well visited, especially on weekends by young people who play volleyball there.
Fantastic experience: Huge beach close to the city with a very long promenade along the seafront. Great offer of restaurants and venues nearby. A place to spend a day at the beach in complete relaxation.
