Positive experience: It's a good place for surfers!

Fantastic experience: We still have to discover Tenerife, but until then and probably afterwards, this beach remains in the top 3 of the Canary Islands. At least for us. If you manage the drive or walk there and go a bit further back, it becomes very beautiful, almost idealistic, and quite peaceful.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular! For standing and watching, for walking, for taking pictures. If the wind doesn't blow, you can enjoy the beach; otherwise, it brings all the sand onto your towel. The happiest are those who surf. We drove up to the cliffs at Mirador de Haria to see it from above. You are left speechless... December 2024. With love from Lanzarote.

Fantastic experience: The largest and coolest beach I've been to. It is simply endless at low tide, with a width reaching 90 big steps. Be sure to go to the right under the rocks at low tide. It's very beautiful there! Reminds me of Hawaii. ????

Fantastic experience: Surreal place, very long beach overlooking the town of Famara, presence of many surfers given the very high waves, we went back three times always at sunset to admire it (two of these with poor results due to the clouds). Absolutely a must-see.

Fantastic experience: The views of the beach are spectacular. Even if you don't like water sports, I recommend going at sunset and walking along the beach towards the cliff with low tide. The views are the best. If you like surfing and such, this is your beach if you're in Lanzarote for a few days.

Fantastic experience: We liked it a lot but the day we went, the waves were quite significant and we couldn't swim at the beach. It is the beach par excellence for surfers (the entrance to the village is full of surf shops), but you can also enjoy the beautiful sunsets it offers. We quite liked the village. Fantastic experience: The place is spectacular. We had no trouble parking, even though we did not arrive early at all. The views are stunning. The clouds over the mountain, the sea, surfers, peace... I didn't dare to swim, but my companion took a dip and enjoyed it like a child. It was windy, quite a bit. But since the sand was mostly wet, it didn't bother us at all.

Positive experience: Large wide beach with a lot of wind and waves, ideal for surfers. Swimming and walking are not recommended in strong winds and sand drifts. There are parking facilities. Many surf schools in the neighboring town. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of plastic waste and litter left by other people. I think it is the dirtiest beach in Lanzarote. The sustainability of the surfing community and other visitors is not so great here. The sky is also mostly overcast.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, even though it was cold and windy, it's a very impressive place. Just standing there and watching the waves could probably go on all day. The sand dunes by the beach are also very nice.

Fantastic experience: Swimming is forbidden. But THIS is a surfer's paradise. In the evenings, you occasionally see kite surfers - for that and for the sunsets, the trip is worth it.

Positive experience: Famara must be paradise for the surfing or kiteboarding people. It's like a jump to another world, just a few minutes away from everything. What's the only downside? The horrible urbanization that visually and conceptually divides the great beach in two.

Positive experience: The beach is very nice, although there are many better ones on the island. It's very quiet and spacious. There are areas full of stones, but you can swim perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Super windy, the beach looks much more beautiful seen from the cliffs above. Looks pretty, but it's not pleasant walking along the beach, with the wind constantly blowing sand all over you. Not sure if this is the case all year round, as we visited in January.
