Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, perfect for spending the whole day. There are picnic areas. There are no natural pools, it is direct access to the sea via a ladder.

Fantastic experience: Access is via a narrow road with a lot of elevation, and it allows for a swim although the water access is by trail and stairs. There is plenty of free parking.

Fantastic experience: Bimbache Cove, a paradise of tranquility and views.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite places when I visit the island, it's essential to wear water shoes and to be cautious with the tides.

Fantastic experience: Area of puddles and natural pools. The access has been improved, and there are new flat areas that serve as sunbathing spots and shaded zones. One of the pools has a staircase for access, making the place suitable for the whole family. It is in a contrasting location; you can be in shallow puddles and suddenly find yourself in holes and cavities that reach tens of meters, where a great variety of benthic fauna is sheltered.

Fantastic experience: Of all the pools in El Hierro, this is where swimming is most accessible and comfortable. This area is also very sunny and has calmer seas.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It is important to check the tidal and wave conditions. It can cover the entire passage area. There are access stairs to get down to the sea, but it can be dangerous depending on the state of the sea. You have to be careful.

Fantastic experience: It's a spectacular place for swimming and watching the sunset, easy to get to and park. There's also a beach bar. I went when there was no one there and the landscape was breathtaking, apparently movies have been filmed there. About 30 minutes from La Restinga.

Negative experience: My rating is only for the beach, supposedly to be able to bring your dog. It is not suitable for them. There is no safe area to access the sea or we did not find it. We followed the meters where dog bathing was allowed and there the access to the sea was quite complicated and dangerous.

Positive experience: Splendid and scenic place, with a restaurant and parking. Pleasant weather and crystal clear water, it also has tables for picnics and ladders to get into the water. The only downside is that it is not a beach per se, but rather a cove. However, regardless of that, it is a must-visit to one of the 11 best beaches in the Canary Islands, according to National Geographic.

Negative experience: It's dangerous because it's very close to the cliff and stones can fall on you.

Fantastic experience: Our most favorite beach, worth it for sunset, not so windy, in some places you can be without a swimsuit.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular place for snorkeling, easy access and has several beaches. There are lifeguards at one of the beaches. Amazing views from the viewpoint.

Positive experience: Ideal spot for spending the day, picnic-style tables. Area renovated for access to the bathing zone. Cleanliness left a bit to the users, and the day we went it was a bit dirty. Crystal clear waters.

Positive experience: The black color of the rocks, and the waves breaking on the shore make it a special place to visit. I would recommend to make a detour if you are nearby.

Fantastic experience: A unique place to visit in El Hierro, like many others it is ideal for staying with the van. It has a small public bathroom, picnic areas, and water. Incredible views and movie-like sunsets. Highly recommended for a visit, and just like the Orchilla pier, I have no coverage all day at my home, hahahaha.

Fantastic experience: Special place with natural volcanic pools. Narrow roads to get there. A pleasure to visit.

Fantastic experience: A spectacular beach with plenty of marine life and a wonderful sunset, highly recommended. PLEASE AVOID filthy people, as there was an elderly person (about 65) who had thrown trash on the ground. A local told him to respect the area as there are trash bins, and the old man got defensive because like all elderly people, he thinks he has the right to do anything, calling him an environmentalist, raising his voice and claiming that 'he would smash his head.' His companion, a younger and heavier person, defended the grandfather even though he was wrong. If we all acted like this man without picking up what we threw away at the end of the day, the beach would go from being nice to dirty with trash in the sea. Respect the places you go, don’t be filthy, you have your own home for that.

Fantastic experience: Some beautiful natural pools to the south of El Hierro... there is a kiosk, facilities, several recycling bins... lifeguard in summer, barbecues with drinking water... and a unique landscape, it is a place you need to visit if you go to the island...

Fantastic experience: Beach... although more than a beach, it is an area protected by rocks that keeps the waters calm. There are several staircases to access the water. Flat, well-maintained areas, almost paved, for sunbathing. A very well-kept place, with parking, ideal for swimming, and during high season there is a beach bar/restaurant open.

Fantastic experience: It's one of my favorite spots on the island. Clean and clear water, everything very well maintained. Very large parking area. Having a dog-friendly area is wonderful, although access is much more complicated than the area where they are not allowed. A must-visit place every time we visit the island.

Fantastic experience: The road to get there is a real driving test, but once you arrive, the views are incredible. The beach, the natural pool, the volcanic mountain… We went at sunset and it was a unique experience. One of the best on the island!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful spot in the south of the island. It's a pity that the bar doesn't open more often to have a drink in an incredible location. We went twice, once during the day with great sunshine and calm sea, and another time at night for astrophotography when the haze gave us a break and we could see the Milky Way. Noteworthy, something that surprised us. When night fell, we started to hear a noise that we didn't know, something scary that frightened us. With the flashlights, we shone the light around and saw nothing, turning and searching for what it could be, we realized it was the 'cries' of the island's native lizards.

Fantastic experience: Like almost everywhere on the island, here we also have a place where we can enjoy the sea in all its fullness... An area sheltered from the trade winds where we can take a bath in its turquoise waters, practice various water sports, or have a drink at a small kiosk at the entrance. For us it was our first fishing stop and although we weren't lucky, we enjoyed the surroundings very much and a coffee that lifted our spirits...

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to disconnect and dive into the underwater scenery. Little space to lay down towels, but you have shade in the higher areas. Highly recommended, a must-visit on the island.

Fantastic experience: Amazing for snorkeling .... we've seen famous Mero Pancho there and lots of strange fish

Fantastic experience: Beautiful area, there are also some small sand beaches to walk to. It can get a bit wavy, so pay much attention to the so called 'natural' pool area were the stairs to water are. Otherwise a very enjoyable area for some sun bathing, a swim and amazing sunsets. You also have table seating in the shade, if you're intersted in a full day spent there.

Fantastic experience: Great beach area, which is very spacious. There are many entry points into the water via ladders, but also sections of sand and rocks that allow access for swimming. Wooden paths have been installed and there are huge covered barbecue huts. You can find an undisturbed place at any time - simply fantastic. Sanitary facilities and a kiosk (which was closed during our visits) are available near the parking lot, which can be reached without problems via an asphalt road. Clear recommendation for the entire area!
