Fantastic experience: Beautiful, super crowded, well equipped. Unrepeatable!!!
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach in the center of Santander and therefore very crowded. It has several free parking lots to park although the closest ones are always full. It has showers and foot showers at the entrances to the beach. It has views of the mountain and is located behind the Palace of La Magdalena, which is about a 30-minute walk. There are several beach bars and ice cream shops where you can have a snack, lunch, or dinner. It also has several volleyball courts, umbrellas, and paid sun loungers.
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach, somewhat difficult to park.
Fantastic experience: A very pleasant beach, the only downside is finding parking.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach with a great promenade. There is shade and you can go along the promenade or through a park that runs parallel to the promenade in case you don't want the sun to hit you, it is full of trees and benches to sit if you get tired. 100% recommendable.

Fantastic experience: First of all, DOGS ARE PROHIBITED ON ALL BEACHES IN SANTANDER AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR! There are two separate beaches (1 to the south and 2 to the north) divided by Piquío, and you can walk from one to the other. There is almost always a green flag, despite being on the Cantabrian coast, and there are foot showers and showers at the exit. Very good bus connections, as near it (either at the interchange or other stops) the lines LC, 1, 2, 3 (weekends and summer), 4, 5 (weekends and summer), 6, 7, 11, 13, 15 (July and August), and 24 pass by.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach that you must visit. Fine and extensive sand where dogs can enjoy it. Now, the water was freezing when we were there hehe.
Negative experience: Me parece fatal que no puedan acceder perros. Sería bueno habilitar zonas que puedan disfrutar con nosotros.

Fantastic experience: Una de las mejores playas de España de las que yo conozco. Arena fina, 1,5 km para pasear, buena calidad del agua, todo tipo de servicios (duchas abundantes y lavapiés) y el entorno tan bonito al lado de la playa, jardines , paseo marítimo, restaurantes.. En fin, una maravilla. Si acaso para algunos de echa en falta un chiringuito a pie de playa.
Negative experience: Very large beach, but nothing compared to those in Donosti
Fantastic experience: Sardinero Beach is simply spectacular. It is a perfect place for swimming and practicing water sports. Moreover, its wide expanse of golden sand and its impressive seaside promenade make it the ideal place for long walks and to enjoy the sea breeze. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, Sardinero Beach is the perfect spot. You will also find a wide variety of bars and restaurants to enjoy a good meal or drink while taking in the view of the sea. In short, if you visit Santander, you cannot miss Sardinero Beach.

Positive experience: We spent 4 days there. The hotel is quite average for the price it charges. The only excellent thing is the location. Just a few steps from Sardinero beach and with bus stops just a few meters away to visit the city center. The room is quite small for the price. There is no welcome gift. There is no table or a couple of chairs in the room, just a nightstand with one chair, which doesn’t make sense for a double room. If you want to eat, it has to be in bed. There is also an armchair which, to be honest, is quite impractical. The air conditioning doesn’t work regularly; you have to turn it to the maximum and it takes a while to cool down, but you get used to it. We requested a bathroom with a shower and were given a bathtub. It’s quite high, so you have to be careful with elderly people and children. The breakfast is very poor for costing almost €20 per person. And the restaurant is quite expensive for the products they offer. The only good thing is the coffee. The staff is quite friendly and willing to solve any problem. I don’t think we’ll return, but we liked the city a lot.

There are hardly any ramps and the slopes are complicated, no elevator to reach the Magdalena beaches. Many cobblestones on sidewalks, high curbs; impossible to enter many bars, restaurants, or churches. Santander has a lot to improve regarding the attention to people with reduced mobility.

Fantastic experience: Es una playa separada en dos partes, en la ciudad de Santander. Está limpia, tanto el agua como la arena, y hay todo tipo de servicios: baños, duchas, socorrista... y establecimientos para almorzar, cenar o tomar un helado por la tarde. Se llega en bus urbano, está genial.

Positive experience: Wide and very clean beach, although it lacks public services.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with a clear sea. Plenty of shower facilities along the beach to rinse off. There are also toilet facilities along the boardwalk, but advised they require a 30c fee to use and can only be paid for with coins, card is not accepted!

Fantastic experience: Very good beach for surfing
Positive experience: You constantly get lost on that beach but it is a beach in the middle of Sur and there are surf classes on that beach but well I still recommend it halfway because you get lost, my love, it has happened to me on those occasions.

Fantastic experience: It's worth visiting the beach area, even if you're not planning to go swimming. It has a nice promenade to walk, have a dring or ice cream. You can also find some kind of art work along the beach and also other public areas in Santander

Just a few steps from Sardinero beach and with bus stops just a few meters away to visit the city center. The room is quite small for the price. There is no welcome gift. There is also an armchair which, to be honest, is quite impractical. Fantastic experience: I love this beach. Great beach to walk during sunset and the sun is really nice. There are showers on the beach too. During sunny days it is very very very very very very full.

Negative experience: One of my worst experiences at a terrace in my life. It can't be that after calling 5 waiters, no one bothered to ask us what we wanted to drink. Little professionalism and overwhelmed place. Dirty tables and poor service. The only good thing was the bathroom where I could use the facilities. I give one star for the bathroom, the rest a 0.

Fantastic experience: I loved this area of Santander... very beautiful and stately, both the beach and the surroundings (Casino, Hotel...). Very good atmosphere, an ideal place to enjoy an ice cream cone. There is a very nice area to walk along the promenade, with viewpoints. The beach is naturally divided into two parts. Apparently, in the past, the eastern part was for the kings and the wealthy, while the western part was for the common people.

Fantastic experience: Truly beautiful. I have been coming to enjoy this natural wonder for over 50 years, both in summer and during the low season when, with fewer people, you can stroll peacefully along its sand. If you have a few free days, try to come here. You won't regret it.
