Fantastic experience: At sunrise, I took a round trip either nude or not. Magnificent. Respect the nudity signs for the respect of all. Easy access. Bring at least 2 liters of water. Enjoy the birds. The flag was red so I didn't bathe.
Positive experience: Large beach with white sand, paid sunbed and umbrella service, beach bar and restaurants along the promenade. The water is very dirty due to the port and there are shower facilities with footbaths, but they are closed. Parking.
Negative experience: I didn't like this beach at all, I don't recommend it. The sand sticks to you, and there's a parking problem.
Positive experience: It is a super spacious beach and quite comfortable because even if there are a lot of people due to its size, you don't feel cramped. Be aware that there is a nudist area and a textile area, so pay attention to where you want to go. The water is very clean, and you can tell that people respect the environment and do not litter like I have seen on other beaches. I don't give it 5 stars because parking is a nightmare.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach extending from the English beach where it is easier to find a parking spot. However, it is better to walk a long time on the beach before settling down because in that part the sea is full of large slippery stones.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful sandy beach from the lighthouse to Playa del Ingles. Starting with a family beach, a few hundred meters further there's the nudist beach and then the LGBTQ beach (mostly nudist). After that, the beach in front of the wonderful dunes is used by a mix of people. After the Punta de Maspalomas, there's another nudist beach and then back to a family beach. While walking along the beach, you meet people in hiking clothes, swimwear, or even naked. Everything is tolerated and viewed casually. The relaxed attitude can best be seen at the LGBTQ beach, where everyone really sits together and celebrates. With a lot of fun and music, there's a great atmosphere here. If it's too lively and loud for some, they can go to one of the nearby kiosks that are more suitable for guests seeking peace. Prices are reasonable. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available. Toilets are very clean and free. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic experience: Lovely golden sand beach in Gran Canaria.
Fantastic experience: Fascinating. In strong winds (which is actually constant), you get more sand blown off than you would like.
Positive experience: Large beach with white sand, paid sunbed and umbrella service, beach bar and restaurants along the promenade. The water is very dirty due to the port and there are shower facilities with footbaths, but they are closed. Parking.
Fantastic experience: Avoid the midday sun, the sand can get quite hot, otherwise you can take beautiful pictures.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful! Definitely worth a visit. However, we unfortunately didn't do our homework; at 2 PM the sand is burning hot! So closed shoes are recommended! Also, we accidentally ended up in the nude area and then were too exhausted to look for something else - so not recommended for families.

Positive experience: Large beach with white sand, paid sunbed and umbrella service, beach bar and restaurants along the promenade. The water is very dirty due to the port and there are shower facilities with footbaths, but they are closed. Parking.
Fantastic experience: Huge clean sandy beach. In between, there are beach bars and restrooms. A sunbed cost €2.50 per day during our stay. The same applies to the sun umbrella. Recommended!!
Negative experience: Maspalomas, what can I say, you only go there for the dunes. After that, the shops and restaurants are divided into two parts: one is more touristy and the other is chic and beautiful. You can return by the beach, where the larger part is dedicated to nudists, and not to say more, there are things that I think families with children should not see. But well, there has to be something for everyone. My advice: return through the dunes, and that's best for families with children.
Fantastic experience: We always settle in the LGBT nude area, and it's super cool. The sun loungers cost €2.5 each and the same for the umbrella, but there are 2 beach bars where you can have a beer or soft drink, and they always have something to snack on.
Fantastic experience: One of the most spectacular beaches in Gran Canaria. Being so wide, it is quite calm, you can swim without any problem and there is plenty of space. In addition, it has an area with some restaurants and little shops as well as beach bars along it. Definitely a must-visit.

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful, clean section of Maspalomas beach, where you can also find shells in the morning. Lifeguards are in sight. Pay attention to the flags displayed at the stations! Restrooms are available. Full-body and foot showers are available for free. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented very cheaply for €2.50.
Positive experience: The beach is quiet and good, there are a number of local shops and restaurants there, the sand is very fine and clean, and it is possible to take a shower. The lifeguard is also based there and it has a safe and beautiful environment. We rented two beds and an umbrella, which cost seven euros and fifty cents. You have to pay by card. The toilet there is not free and you have to pay one euro, but the toilet was clean.
Positive experience: After crossing the dunes, you find a large expanse of white sand where you can spend a great beach day. There is no beach bar, but there are restrooms and lifeguards.
Fantastic experience: A large clean expanse of fine sand next to extensive dunes. The sand can become very hot on sunny days and as such a sensible choice of footwear is required. Plenty of room and well watched over by lifeguards and the police. Many people take the walkway alongside the cafes, but there is a gap and care for the hot sand is required,
Fantastic experience: Una playa muy extensa limpia se guardaron las distancias de seguridad muy agradable

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach! Not too crowded and especially recommended in the evenings! Clean and many options for dining and shopping.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, spacious beach along the dunes. Several services with sun loungers, at the end the Maspalomas promenade. The nudist area ends near bars of the 'kiosk' type. The sand is light, very soft with very few pebbles. The descent to the water is gentle, but the waves can be large. Surfers enjoy taking advantage of the wind and the waves.
Fantastic experience: This is an awesome beach! Ideal to walk to the famous Maspalomas dunes. The sandy beach is very nice and very large. Perfect for long walks. Also good for surfing (good surf spot, with surf schools, surf board and wetsuit rentals, etc). It can get crowded tough, if you want a lounge chair (price is decent: 7.50€ for two chairs + umbrella)

Positive experience: Spiaggia lunga diversi kilometri. Dove e bello passeggiare a piedi nudi, prendere il sole, bere ai vari chioschi, nuotare qualche volta perché le acque sono fredde. Inoltre si può praticare windsurf.

Maspalomas Beach: Reviews
Positive experience: Parking is very bad, but the beach is huge.
Fantastic experience: Lovely golden sand beach in Gran Canaria.
Fantastic experience: Superb and large beach with kiosks for toilets and bars.
Fantastic experience: Fascinating. In strong winds (which is actually constant), you get more sand blown off than you would like.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent to see of course
Fantastic experience: Nice to hang around here
Fantastic experience: At sunrise, I took a round trip either nude or not. Magnificent. Respect the nudity signs for the respect of all. Easy access. Bring at least 2 liters of water. Enjoy the birds. The flag was red so I didn't bathe.
Positive experience: A wonderful place. The lighthouse, the dunes, the ocean. The kiosks along the very long promenade. Beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Very touristy beach, but it's worth visiting for the dunes that are nearby.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach! Not too crowded and especially recommended in the evenings! Clean and many options for dining and shopping.
Fantastic experience: Section of the beach with nudists, in case anyone likes that.
Fantastic experience: The beach and dunes, long and wide, beautiful views. Nearby a hotel and promenade.
Positive experience: Large beach with white sand, paid sunbed and umbrella service, beach bar and restaurants along the promenade. The water is very dirty due to the port and there are shower facilities with footbaths, but they are closed. Parking.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, go visit it.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful huge beach
Fantastic experience: Warm view, and the water is perfect
Fantastic experience: Avoid the midday sun, the sand can get quite hot, otherwise you can take beautiful pictures.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful! Definitely worth a visit. However, we unfortunately didn't do our homework; at 2 PM the sand is burning hot! So closed shoes are recommended! Also, we accidentally ended up in the nude area and then were too exhausted to look for something else - so not recommended for families.
Positive experience: It is very nice here. Unfortunately, the beach is not that great. But it is sufficient for swimming in the Atlantic.
Fantastic experience: The dunes are truly worth a visit. I took a walk in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the dunes. Lasting memory.
Negative experience: I didn't like this beach at all, I don't recommend it. The sand sticks to you, and there's a parking problem.
Fantastic experience: Impressive, especially seeing such dunes next to the beach. Very crowded.
Positive experience: It's an ok beach, with sunbeds lined across, with parasols for shade. The water is ok until you walk far enough to reach a line of rocks, anywhere past that line and it's only rocks. Your only way to get through is to float or swim through.
Positive experience: Many nudists Nice beach High waves
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach extending from the English beach where it is easier to find a parking spot. However, it is better to walk a long time on the beach before settling down because in that part the sea is full of large slippery stones.
Fantastic experience: Ideal viewpoint at sunset
Negative experience: Nice beach but smells like sewage. Everyone writes that it's nice and clean, yes, but it stinks.
Fantastic experience: Buy the tickets in advance and try to be there before 9, otherwise... a long wait
Positive experience: Beach with no wind and all kinds of environments: nudist, semi, normal, and family-friendly. The dunes make it a splendid place to enjoy the sea.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful place. It is really suitable for relaxing or walking. It also looks really dreamy.
Fantastic experience: Clean beach and sea. Sandy beach with no rocks or pebbles almost everywhere, often with waves and windy. The beach is huge and there is plenty of space to stay away from others if you wish, even without a swimsuit. Starting from the lighthouse and heading east, you come across bar number 7 with a equipped beach. That is the naturist zone. Shortly after there are bars 6 and 5, also equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds (€2.50 each for the whole day) and restrooms. That is the gay area (men) where it is possible to be nude (about half of the bathers choose not to wear swimsuits). The aforementioned bars have music but not too loud. Taking a long walk along the sea you arrive at playa del inglés beach. In the area inside the dunes, it is possible to walk along a path.
Fantastic experience: Cool beach
Positive experience: Beautiful beach but very windy and high waves! You can't swim properly.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful
Fantastic experience: What a beautiful environment. Close to the beach. Nearby is a beautiful spot with palm trees where you could see and hear special birds singing.
Fantastic experience: If you have not yet been to the Sahara - here you get a rough idea of what it could be like there. The height of the sand dunes is impressive and simply beautiful!
Positive experience: Very clean sandy beach with many dining options! 2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella cost €15. Be careful, payment can only be made by card! Unfortunately, there are many beach vendors. I personally find it very annoying as you are approached every 10 minutes.
Fantastic experience: Huge clean sandy beach. In between, there are beach bars and restrooms. A sunbed cost €2.50 per day during our stay. The same applies to the sun umbrella. Recommended!!
Fantastic experience: Wide sandy beach with the famous dunes
Positive experience: Good swim and cool clean water
Fantastic experience: I love this beach.
Fantastic experience: Strolling, enjoying the views, and energetic swimming. A must-visit on the island.
Fantastic experience: Very good beach
Fantastic experience: A wide beach with very beautiful dunes and an area to stay dressed however you want.
Fantastic experience: An incredible landscape with many things to discover, plus it has a naturist area that is very cool. There's a birdwatching area right next to the beach. The shopping center area is the least interesting, but in the Canary Islands, I believe it's the best place to enjoy a sunset, it's definitely worth it, and if I go to Gran Canaria, I will surely return to the dunes and Maspalomas.
Fantastic experience: A wide beach, ideal for families, although it often has quite a lot of waves. It has two completely different views, one towards the dunes of Maspalomas, and the other towards the immense lighthouse.
Fantastic experience: Maspalomas beach is really a very beautiful and especially large sandy beach in Maspalomas. At this beach, you can walk to the next town. Our walk was about 7 kilometers long to get there. At the beginning of the beach, it is quite normal and it is also suitable for families. However, the further you move towards the neighboring town, the more wonderful the feet become and the less clothing people around are wearing. But it is not intrusive or problematic. However, with children, I might not necessarily visit the nudist area.
Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this beach for 23 years. I love the opportunity for long walks. The not-so-warm water compared to the Mediterranean does not deter me. Those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle will find options.
Positive experience: The guy with the umbrellas ruins your mood... Point 5 PM. It could be different..... totally rude... otherwise very beautiful beach. Note: today already at 3:30 PM the first umbrellas were taken down. Conclusion, if tourists still want to go to the beach at 4 PM, there’s simply no umbrella left. Unbelievable.
Fantastic experience: Super beach. You can walk along the beach from Maspalomas to Playa de Ingles. There's something for everyone, including sections for nudists.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and I recommend everyone to come here. I am here for the second time. And I will return again. I recommend coming here for at least a month....
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, wide beach with very pleasant, fine sand. This place is very well maintained; every morning the sand is cleaned and leveled. The beach is located next to the lighthouse and the promenade, which comprises numerous restaurants and souvenir shops. Walking further into the beach, we will find an area designated for nudists. A great advantage is the ample space for sunbathing and relaxation in a unique location.
Fantastic experience: A good beach both for swimming and for walking, I would like the dunes to be more monitored and the lagoon and surroundings to be cleaner.
Fantastic experience: Amazing sand dunes, and superb beach
Fantastic experience: We always settle in the LGBT nude area, and it's super cool. The sun loungers cost €2.5 each and the same for the umbrella, but there are 2 beach bars where you can have a beer or soft drink, and they always have something to snack on.
Fantastic experience: One of the most spectacular beaches in Gran Canaria. Being so wide, it is quite calm, you can swim without any problem and there is plenty of space. In addition, it has an area with some restaurants and little shops as well as beach bars along it. Definitely a must-visit.
Fantastic experience: super nice beach
Positive experience: Very long beach, partly naturist, also beautiful for long walks along the sea.
Fantastic experience: Lovely cozy atmosphere there
Fantastic experience: Beautiful nature, but really crowded. Right next to it is a bird reserve. Still great.
Positive experience: My review is a NO.... So.... if someone goes there expecting to find a sea like the Maldives or like Greece, they can forget it. We are talking about diametrically opposite characteristics. It’s an ocean. In fact, this didn't make me personally exclaim wow. The sea is obviously clean. The beach is special because in front there is the sea and then behind are these dunes that contrast and make the place special and pleasant to walk through. Then it's an area full of nudists. It's almost the norm. Nudists are mostly over 50. The prices if you want to grab a beer at the beach kiosks are quite high.... almost 10 euros.
Fantastic experience: For me, the best beach in Gran Canaria
Fantastic experience: A quiet, large, clean beach with a green flag. What more could you ask for?
Fantastic experience: Lovely place! Great variety of bars and restaurants, especially on the front. No one mithering and very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Without fear of being mistaken, it is probably one of the best beaches in the world.
Fantastic experience: Personally, I think it's a great beach with nice sand and a wall of dunes separating you from the rest of the world (sort of). The best way to reach it is through the dunes, taking the longest route until you reach the ocean of blue. Perfect for a walk or lying on the sand. Top place of the island.
Fantastic experience: The beach and the dunes of Maspalomas are unique
Fantastic experience: Large wide clean beach with umbrellas and sunbeds to rent, if you want, restaurants, bars, shops nearby
Fantastic experience: Dressed and not too much nudity. Sandy beach with few pebbles. Do pay attention to the high tide (not that we had any trouble with that).
Positive experience: Beautiful wide beach with dunes. Sunbeds 7.50 for 2 with umbrella. No pushy sellers. This is prohibited and the police checks occasionally. There is an annoying scammer in a doctor's coat that people are warned about at the medical post. But someone with common sense will see through this annoying guy who tries to persuade people for money with fake advice and a bit of rubbing. The sea is sometimes rough with strong winds and gets deep quite quickly. Boulevard with average souvenir shops and restaurants.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful and spacious square. It's a lovely feeling to be there. I recommend everyone to visit it.
Fantastic experience: An incredible place
Fantastic experience: Lovely beach
Fantastic experience: Great beach, lots of restaurants and kiosks. If you're not open minded, stop at kiosk 4 as kiosk 5 is nudist and 6-7 are LGBTQ+.
Fantastic experience: There are enough dining places. The atmosphere is great.
Fantastic experience: Getting ready for a longer walk, beauty away from the tourist beach.
Fantastic experience: An endless beach with beautiful golden sands, but definitely the dirtiest.
Positive experience: A bit difficult to know where to go out to swim. Some rocks in the water. And believe it or not, I miss some vendors selling towels.
Fantastic experience: A 100% recommended place, especially for those who love nature, where you can take long walks with a total feeling of freedom.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, lovely bars and restaurants. Very clean.
Positive experience: Just a beach. Lots of shopping hassle on the promenade, in case you want to buy a Rolex. Not too crowded.
Positive experience: Beautiful elongated sandy beach, increasingly rocky in the eastern area. There could definitely be more restrooms, especially since the kiosks and their restrooms close at 5:00 PM - if they are even open here.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and clean beach. Great to walk along the coastline.
Positive experience: Very beautiful sandy beach. Great for walks, either along or over the dunes. Looks like in the desert. We just wished there were signposts in the area of the nude beach... but you can look at the sea in that area. In any case, the dunes are worth a visit!!
Positive experience: It is very pleasant to walk along the beach from Playa de Inglés to Faro. There are now several places to stop with restrooms, but only from 11 am.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, I love it.
Fantastic experience: Great beach with some of the most stunning dunes I have ever seen in my life.
Fantastic experience: POSSIBLY THE BEST BEACH IN SPAIN
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with a long promenade. There is an area with sun loungers and bars and restaurants. Along the beach, there are different beach bars. We love walking along it on vacation.
Positive experience: At the end of the sand dunes of Playa des Ingles are the hotels of Maspalomas and the Faro, the old lighthouse.
Fantastic experience: Good, but very windy, the sand flies around.
Fantastic experience: Good path, chairs to use and a beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: The beach between Playa de Inglés and Maspalomas is sometimes great to walk on and sometimes has a lot of stones...better to wear sneakers or water shoes...
Fantastic experience: Not only are the dunes of Maspalomas worth a visit, but also the promenade that runs alongside the Atlantic. Of course, it is accessible from start to finish. Many restaurants invite you to linger, and occasionally there are shops and small supermarkets.
Fantastic experience: Great beautiful beach
