Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach section with turquoise blue water. The sand of the beach is generally fine, but there are also many larger pieces of black lava rock. Grain size (about 0.3 to 10.0 mm) of course there are also coarser lava stones everywhere. There are bars and restaurants nearby, as well as parking options. Those who like beach soccer also have the opportunity to play. There are football goals set up and ready.
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms or snack bars directly accessible for beachgoers. However, a street further up there is a supermarket and nearby hotels/restaurants.
Fantastic experience: An absolute favorite in Fuerte. No restroom facilities available, but you have to make do without that. The beach is clean and very gently sloping, also into the sea. The water is turquoise and super clear. Plenty of parking options around the beach. Really perfect for small children.

Fantastic experience: Perfecta para kite. Con un rompeolas importante pero lo bueno es que el suelo es de arena (no roca volcánica) excepto en un sitio concreto.

Fantastic experience: Abbiamo affittato un auto solo per visitare questo fantastico posto. È uno spettacolo della natura mare pulitissimo, distese di sabbia enormi e rocce vulcaniche. Fa caldissimo e il sole scotta quindi se non vi piace ustionarvi vi consiglio di comprare un ombrellone visto che spiaggie private non ce ne sono. Su tutta la distesa di spiaggia c'è solo un piccolo bar dove potete acquistare bibite, mangiare o bere un caffè. Andateci è bellissimo.
Fantastic experience: Coronado por el faro del Tostón, uno de los lugares imprescindibles a visitar de la isla. Merece la pena echar el día para ver el cambio de los charcos con las mareas. Perfecto para ir con niños ya que los charcos tienen barreras naturales de roca volcánica, no hay olas y tienen poca profundidad 50 cm de media.
Positive experience: Playa muy bonita, de arena blanca y algunas piedras volcánicas negras estratégicamente colocadas por la gente para parar un poco el viento cuando están tomando el sol. No sé si hay alguna época en la que no haya viento, pero estuve en julio, en agosto y en septiembre y no aguanté más de media hora en la playa por culpa del viento. Pero no había casi nada de olas; el mar prácticamente parecía una piscina. Creo que es debido a los arrecifes que la protegen, así que supongo que será una delicia para los buceadores. Hay parking público y varios restaurantes y chiringuitos para comer o tomar algo mientras disfrutas del paisaje salvaje. Lo que más aprecio de esta playa y las de sus alrededores, es que no es masificada. Es una parada obligatoria en Tenerife.

Fantastic experience: A great beach in the area with a beautiful sandy beach and a bay for swimming. The volcanic rocks in the water prevent even large waves from reaching the beach, so they can be admired safely. Due to the tides, the water is sometimes shallow and up to 2m deep. There are always plenty of fish to see while snorkeling. In the evening, the sun sets directly over the horizon into the water.
Positive experience: beautiful beach very spacious fine sand and shallow waters...very comfortable for families and children. Nearby bars and dining spots.
Positive experience: Small beach with a cove and shallow bottom. Very strong wind. Coarse sand. No restrooms. Still, a nice quiet place suitable for children thanks to the shallow bottom.

Fantastic experience: Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. The town itself has gorgeous little shops and restaurants. Being on the west coast of the island too means that it’s a great spot for sunsets.
Fantastic experience: Amazing beach. White sands which makes also the water look turquoise, small lagunas with calm waters and then big waves further if you wish to have some fun. Not busy usually, restaurants few hundred metres away, car park close by. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying the view.

It is clearly a trendy area, normally frequented by cool surfer types, I say normally because like all areas at the moment due to the Covid restrictions are very quiet. But anyway if you are staying nearby or perhaps drive up to the North to visit the volcano then this is a great stop over. We spent a couple of hours chilling on the beach in the hot sun, yes it was a bit breezy but thanks to the stone built wind breakers, once you lie down on your towel, you hardly notice the wind at all. There was free parking directly on the beach and a lot of little restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommended when you visit Fuerteventura

Fantastic experience: Parmi l'une des plus belles plages de l'île qui s'adresse en même temps aux familles ayant de petits enfants, car il y a des criques qui leur permettent de se baigner en toute sécurité sans avoir les grosses vagues de l'Atlantique. Le stationnement est facile et surtout gratuit.
Fantastic experience: Uno dei posti più belli dell'isola. Vi si arriva con una strada sterrata (breve e facile) a sud della città. La spiaggia è enorme, adatta a passeggiare, ed è divisa equamente tra chi vuole nuotare (oceano permettendo) e chi vuole praticare sport acquatici. Non ci sono bagni né altri servizi, c'è il bagnino

Fantastic experience: Magnificent! Go to the very end of the beach at sunset and sit on the rocks. The birds approach, the waves roar, and the sun falls into the sea. Few people in this place. A true moment of happiness.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful tranquil beach with turquoise waters and white sand on the north west of the island. It is clearly a trendy area, normally frequented by cool surfer types, I say normally because like all areas at the moment due to the Covid restrictions are very quiet. But anyway if you are staying nearby or perhaps drive up to the North to visit the volcano then this is a great stop over. We spent a couple of hours chilling on the beach in the hot sun, yes it was a bit breezy but thanks to the stone built wind breakers, once you lie down on your towel, you hardly notice the wind at all. There was free parking directly on the beach and a lot of little restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommended when you visit Fuerteventura
Fantastic experience: I love this beach, although swimming here is dangerous. Water is wild and rough, you better bring a morey or a surfboard. You can also have a nice day just watching the surf schools or the awesome kitesurfers.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful stretch of cliffs going down to the South, really special. Reminds me of a smaller Cliffs of Mohar back in Ireland. The waves are loud and beautiful and the beaches as your walking north toward the light house are really special. A couple of low water lagoons along the way to cool off and as always the little rock domes made by the surfers are scattered all around, great to lie down and chill out in. Didn't go surfing but there are plenty of spots.

Fantastic experience: Every time I return to this beach, I find it different; the scenery changes depending on the tide... the water is less freezing, the coloring is crazy, you can't resist and you dive in.

Fantastic experience: De toda Piedra Playa es la única en la que uno se puede bañar. El resto está reservado para kite y surf. Aguas cristalinas. Buen oleaje para divertirse. Y arena fina. Un buen lugar para tostarse al sol.

Negative experience: With this review and these photos, we want to testify that even the sea of Fuerteventura can be like that of our Romagna Riviera, often so criticized and denigrated. 3,500 km traveled by plane to have a sea full of seaweed and foam. We leave Italy in search of something extraordinary and never seen when we have hundreds of kilometers of wonderful coasts (Sardinia, Sicily, Puglia, Calabria, etc.). We also emphasize that vacationing here is by no means cheap. Long live our beautiful country and our Italian beaches...

Fantastic experience: Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurants and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Positive experience: If you like to snorkel and look at fish or other animals, it's great. There's no chance for reefs, but there are stones, so it's fine. You can also manage with bubbles because it's super shallow and there are no waves. There are quite a few naked people, but it's one of the smaller beaches, so you can live with it. There are no showers, unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Been a few times to this beach and it lovely and clean. Our 3 yr old grandson loved playing on the sand and in the water. It is a nudist beach as well we also went in the evening to watch sunset which I'd stunning highly recommend this. El Cotillo is a beautiful place to visit.
