Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed this small cozy place. The beach is small but also not so crowded (maybe in weekends it’s something else). Showers, toilets, plenty of parking places nearby, one supermarket and some cozy restaurants. Definitely one of the places I would like to visit on my trip to Gran Canaria.
Fantastic experience: An incredibly beautiful and charming place. The only downside is that the access to the beach for cars is too steep. The beach has showers, and there are some bathrooms further away. There are bars along the promenade.
Fantastic experience: Hidden little gem well worth a visit. Easy free parking, quiet beach with great swimming and sealife to snorkel / dive / swim with and enjoy along the jetty wall and rocks around and about in the shallows. Great views of both Tenerife on a clear day and some Jurassic park type cliffs to the north. Worth going a bit later because it takes the sun a bit to get over the hills and bath all the beach, but also has a decent restaurant / bar set in the cliff overlooking the bay to enjoy lunch in after. Had a really enjoyable day here.
Fantastic experience: I really loved this beach- it's small, fairly sheltered and the water was teeming with fish so take your snorkel! We visited in February and there was plenty of free parking. The restaurant on the seafront is well worth a visit!
Positive experience: Poor accessibility, unattractive and not very large! Nevertheless, the small promenade (about 200m long without frills) was renovated for a whopping 3 million euros, and the EU subsidized half of it?! I wonder: What was done with the money there, and why was so much money dumped for effectively 50m of beach?! Incredible....., now the residents have a nice street! (Note: There was still a large construction sign on site, where the financing was also described)

Fantastic experience: Eine sehr schöne kleine Sandbucht/Strand. Perfekt zum Baden und verweilen. Hunde und Ballspielen verboten. Oberhalb ist auch ein kleines Fischrestaurant im Fels. Der Strand ist auch für Kinder geeignet.
Fantastic experience: Lugar con mucho encanta, un apena que no haya ninguna zona habilitada para poder darme un chapuzón con mis perros. Falta mucho para para parecernos a otros países europeos.
Fantastic experience: Espectaculares vistas en un ambiente volcánico, con olor a mar. La playa es de arena negra y poco masificada de turistas. Ideal para pasar un rato en la playa y disfrutar de la tranquilidad y las vistas.
Positive experience: La costa Norte de Gran Canaria tiene playas muy buenas, pequeñas pero aprovechables 100%. Incluso con piedras en vez de arena, o sólo con sus charcos, como el del Paso del Sargo, te lo puedes pasar de fábula. Si deseas ir a este paso, debes tener maña con la escalada, ir ligero de equipaje y dispuesto a mojarte por si caes al agua (prescinde del móvil o llévalo en caja impermeable), o vete nadando directo que son cinco brazadas. Recuerda llevar un tomatito a los impresionantes lagartos de Gran Canaria.
Positive experience: J'aime beaucoup la grande Canarie. Elle est superbe et sauvage des qu'on se donne la peine de quitter les hauts lieux touristiques, de faire qqs kilomètres et vous vous trouvez au nord dans une région volcanique d'une beauté sauvage, au sud, Mas Palomas. ..ce sont les dunes, le sable....très dépaysant. Les gens sont très accueillants, la vie est plutôt bon marché... j'ai aimé.

Fantastic experience: Sin duda una de las mejores playas al norte de Gran Canaria. Bandera Azul 2023. Duchas y servicios. Puesto de socorristas. Aguas aún cristalinas en el Atlántico.

Fantastic experience: Wer einen Strand zum Schnocherln sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben! Von der kleinen Wasserschnecke, über viele Fische bis hin zu Calemaris sieht man beim Schnorcheln eine tolle Unterwasserwelt.Wenn man bald vor Ort ist, bekommt man auch einen Platz auf den beiden Holzterrassen. Es ist ein Restaurant genauso wie Süßwasserduschen vorhanden und wer die Rettungsschwimmer nett begrüßt, bekommt von ihnen auch den örtlichen WC Schlüssel

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. It was a bit cloudy when we got there but then the sky slowly cleared up and we got to see an amazing sun set.

Fantastic experience: Une de mes plages publiques préférées de Gran Canaria. La surface est petite mais l'eau est déliciseuse, transparente, les vagues superbes. 3 très bons restaurants. Et c'est une plage fréquentée essentiellement par les familles canariennes, c'est plus relax et joyeux que les hordes de touristes du sud.
Fantastic experience: Es buen lugar por que hace sol y de ves en cuando hay buenas olas para surfear un poco adecuado para niños
Positive experience: Exótica playa del noroeste de Gran Canaria, de arena rubia única en la zona norte. Puedes bañarte, bucear, surfear y jugar en la arena con los niños.. Hay restaurantes donde picar algo. Tienes servicios para después del baño. En verano es complicado encontrar aparcamientos por el exceso de visitantes, pero el resto del año es un placer pasear por su costa. Una enorme montaña flanquea la playa que la protege de los fuertes vientos. Hay que tener precaución en la época de malas mareas porque las corrientes son muy frecuentes. En definitiva, es una playa espectacular y el sabor de sus aguas supersaladas y su yodo, te darán un espléndido bronceado. Deberías probarlo.

Negative experience: Para bajar con el coche a dejar el kayak solo puedes ir de 8 de la mañana a 12 del medio día lo que limita bastante el uso publico del muelle siendo este el único en el municipio, no se entiende esta medida ya que antes esa limitación horaria no existía y solo queríamos entrar para cargar y descargar. Me dice un señor por telefonillo que solo se puede dentro de ese horario si no hay que bajarlo y subirlo a mano... Me parece una vergüenza encima que es una cuesta y un camino largo, como para tener que bajar y subir a mano un kayak de dos plazas, mal por el ayuntamiento de galdar.

Positive experience: I was there several years ago in this village nestled in the cliff... unlike then, I found a large and comfortable promenade, I must say that the works have been significant. If you love this type of landscape, I can recommend TUFIA, which is also very characteristic but less touristy...

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to this beach in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible improvements made to the promenade and surroundings. The tranquility that was felt yesterday during sunset is a great gift. The place is wonderful and paradise-like. People stroll peacefully. The leisure spots are quiet, and the incredible beauty of the sea and the rich surroundings transport you to a great sense of peace and well-being. My congratulations to the City Council of Gáldar for taking care of this place. This is a plus for a municipality that cares about its environment.

Fantastic experience: A family-friendly and very quiet beach where you can enjoy the beach until the last hours of the afternoon with some of the best sunsets.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach. Not golden, but soft sand, free showers, and a good amount of parking nearby. Goes without saying, but less people than the Southern Coast, and fairly protected from the wind (on the day we visited). A nice way to finish the day, after visiting historic Gaydar.

Negative experience: I honestly don't understand the score of the beach. We drove there from Las Palmas and immediately drove back. Spent 20 minutes circling for parking, finally found a spot and was disappointed when I got to the beach. Overcrowded, not a bar nearby. Nothing.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful little dark sand beach in a quiet cove, with colourful houses built into the cliffs surrounding it. We were there in January and it was pretty quiet, but still hot in the sun. The water was a bit chilly at first, but fine once you got used to it, and very clear. The only real downside was that it was a bit windy, which kept blowing the fine sand over us. There's free parking a couple of minutes' walk up the hill, and a nice little restaurant overlooking the beach.

Negative experience: At the moment most of the area is under construction. Lots of huge rocks, a very stoney area. One small well sheltered sandy safe place to have a swim very close to the restaurant, cafe and facilities. Unless disabled, resident or construction or permit holders to pass barrier, no private vehicles allowed but plenty of free street parking before barriers at entrance.
Fantastic experience: This lunar -like place is fan-tas-tic!!!!! Giant rocks, colorful tiny buildings, baby blue crystal water and the nice breeze , this little gulf is a hidden gem of Gran Canaria. At El Elancla restaurant we had a great lunch with fresh caught fish. The sunset there is a must!
