Positive experience: It's good for a swim, clean with good access, parking, lifeguard, bathrooms, but..... There are many stones when you go into the water.
Fantastic experience: Beach on the west of the island, just below Tazacorte. It is almost at the limit of the area affected by the volcano. There are two beaches separated by a large rocky area. In general, it has fine black sand. Although there are services (restrooms, lifeguard, ...), they are not available right now. You can access quite well from the parking to the beach. It is a very quiet area. There are several areas with umbrellas and some tables. Good place to enjoy peace and have a swim. There are showers that WERE working.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with good amenities. Kiosk, showers, bathroom, and walking path. However, be careful when the sea is wild. You can get thrown against rocks and get seriously hurt. There was no flag warning us not to swim, nor a lifeguard present. Use common sense.
Positive experience: Nice beach with beach bar. Sand is so hot you really do need footwear. No seriously, you do. Trust me on this one. Water is nice. Left side of the rock of for relaxed swimming or floating. Right side has a stone plate which you can only see when the tide is low. Beware of this when you walk into the water there. You literally can fall of the rock in the water. Lifeguard is always present during the day. Way too little umbrellas by the way, but that's a minor detail.

Fantastic experience: Charco Verde ist ein wirklich schöner, schwarzsandiger Strand, der mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und trotzdem nie zu voll ist. Am Strand gibt es einen Kiosk, wo etwas gegessen und getrunken werden kann. Es gibt Fassbier, Pommes, Convinience-Paella, Kaffee und allerlei Softdrinks. Der Strand wird bis 18 Uhr von Rettungsschwimmern beaufsichtigt und verfügt über Süßwasserduschen und sanitäre Anlagen. Es gibt mehrere festinstallierte große Sonnenschirme, die frei genutzt werden können. Man muss nur früh genug am Strand sein. Das Wasser ist fantastisch! Bei allen unseren Besuchen war die Sichtweite im Wasser sehr groß und beim Schnorcheln konnte man viele verschiedene Fischarten sehen.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach. Unfortunately, the small bar is only open in summer. The path to the water is quite rocky. It's worth getting a snorkel due to the fish.

Fantastic experience: For 30 years, one of my favorite places on the island. Here you can experience one of the most beautiful sunsets. The absolute unique feature is the kiosk, which has been around for just as long and an extremely friendly and witty man, obviously the owner, ensures that you feel truly comfortable: for this location, a very, very good value for money of the food and drinks offered.

Positive experience: Access to the sea is better only via the left beach section and only with suitable waves. Appropriate closed bathing shoes are recommended. As of early March 2024, the kiosk, reportedly closed due to illness and locally verified, is unfortunately not open.

Fantastic experience: Very nice black sand beach with some great cliffs to climb as well. It has a pretty clean restroom/shower hut and there are quite a few parking spaces on either side South/North. The wood planks make walking onto the beach a breeze. I liked it a lot.
