Fantastic experience: Such a beautiful walk, we didn’t walk all the way up as we were on a trip with a cruise provider. However the sand was so soft and the sea was just lovely! Would recommend to go and just end the island and its beauty.

Fantastic experience: How do I even begin. Astonishing wonderful and godlike views. Water clear as crystal but super cold. Very beautiful place and not crowded at all. And if you’re really looking for to act go to the other beach although it has waves that are pretty big. Again I wouldn’t swim for a long time here. You can camp, hike and so on. And the ferry there is quick simple but bumpy sometimes so if you get sea sick easily prepare. VERY aggressive seagulls. Took our pain au chocolate and a Cookie.

In those days it was not a natural reserve, people would come here and do barbecues, etc. Now it is much better since it is a natural reserve the island is preserved & really looks pristine. Positive experience: Beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and very white sand, a result of quartz erosion over thousands of years. Watching the seagulls can be fun as they often fight among themselves and try to steal food from visitors. The water is very cold, but it's a nice place to take a dip or enjoy the sun while the breeze from the trees accompanies you.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches I have visited. White sand, turquoise and very cold waters, a forest behind and on the other side the Atlantic. You get there by ferry and it takes just over an hour; the return trip was a bit rough, so if you get seasick on boats it's better to bring something. The departure is very punctual both going and returning. On the island, there is a restaurant with quite moderate prices for being the only option. There is also a campsite and a tourist office. To go, you need to request a permit before purchasing the ticket, as it is a protected natural park with a maximum quota of visitors. I recommend doing it a couple of months in advance to ensure there is space. I also recommend bringing something to protect yourself from the sun since, at least for us, we've been there for several hours and the sun is strong.

Fantastic experience: Una isla bellísima. Con sus diferentes playas. A cual más gélida pero posible de bañarte si el día es caluroso como el que nosotros fuimos el 05 de julio. Bonitos paseos donde disfrutar de las vistas y sus pequeños bosquecillos.

Fantastic experience: Declarada en 2007 por el diario británico "The Guardian" la mejor playa del Mundo por el color de sus aguas, su arena y su situación. Se localiza en la isla de Monteagudo de las Islas Cíes, parque natural protegido de las Islas Atlánticas de Galicia. El trayecto en barco bien vale la pena. Hay que solicitar autorización de la Xunta de Galicia e intentar comprar el billete con antelación (máximo 90 días). Nosotros fuimos desde Vigo aunque se puede llegar desde otros lugares cercanos. La playa es preciosa, sin lugar a dudas y no suele estar masificada (más a partir de la hora de la comida y la tarde, cuando los visitantes ya han hecho alguna de las rutas por la isla, todas muy recomendables). Se sitúa junto al embarcadero y el bar del mismo, lo cual es una comodidad añadida. La arena es finísima y el agua muestra muchos matices en su color, más verdoso junto a la playa y azul que se va oscureciendo rápidamente según te adentras en el agua. Es, en mi opinión, una visita obligada...eso sí, el agua está muy fría pues las islas Cíes ya se encuentran fuera de la Ría, en pleno Océano Atlántico.

Fantastic experience: If someone tells you that going to Cíes is not worth the money and time, then feel free to categorize those statements as 'personal opinion'. Each to their own. But in my view, it is definitely worth it. One day there is clearly not enough to enjoy staying in this quiet and beautiful place. I am not an introvert, but I really like to walk in such places, listen to nature, breathe in the sea air, feel the power of the ocean, and swim in the incredibly beautiful lagoon of Rodas beach. And the most unusual thing there is the sand. It is not ordinary sand, like you find everywhere. It's some kind of mix of sand, remnants (very, very fine) of shells, and apparently, quartz. When you walk on this beach, the sand does not crunch like usual, but it seems to crackle and purr at the same time. Very unusual! The truth is that it also 'loves' to stay on your shoes and clothes as a 'souvenir'. And when you are about to eat something, watch out for the food: seagulls swoop in from nowhere and can snatch food right out of your hands (or directly from your nose) in an instant! P.S. And one more thing, you need a camera, not a phone. Then the photos will be simply amazing.

It is a long beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters where you can walk touching the bottom for quite a while. It starts where the ferries drop off visitors and runs along one side of the main island.

With its fine white sand and crystal clear waters in turquoise and blue tones, this beach is a natural spectacle that leaves visitors breathless. Surrounded by hills covered in vegetation and with the iconic Cíes Lighthouse in the background, Rodas beach is a dream place to relax under the sun, swim in the refreshing sea, and indulge in the unparalleled beauty of nature. I didn't expect it to be like this, come and enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach with fine white sand and cold transparent waters. The surroundings are amazing, an almost wild island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Although the water is very cold, even in summer, one can swim perfectly, as once you get past the initial shock, you really enjoy bathing in this natural paradise. I recommend heading to the area farthest from the dock where the ferries arrive (that area gets crowded, while the middle and opposite end are deserted). Additionally, with the tourist quota in the Cíes Islands limited to 1800 per day, and with the beach being extensive, there are hardly any people on the beach, giving the sensation of being all alone, as tourists are spread between this beach, hiking routes, and other coves. We did the lighthouse route in the morning, swam, and did snorkeling in a cove (Praia de Nosa Señora) and after lunch, we went to this Rodas beach to spend the afternoon. Positive experience: Beach located in Vigo, Spain. We took the boat leaving from the marina of Vigo, a very beautiful place to walk and watch the sunset. The walk to the island is very nice, it has many places to explore and enjoy, ideal for going with family, a partner, or in a group as desired. It's important to be willing to walk if you want to explore it and then reward yourself with a beach bath, or you can also just stay on the main beach. Bring money because it is expensive, at least 20 euros per person for food and drinks. Suggestion: bring everything like we did, from water to food. You can bring a towel and an umbrella for the sun. Bring a coat because it can be very windy and cold. To take the walk, wear sports shoes for comfort, and bring an extra bag to collect trash and take it back with you. The island has impeccable bathrooms, camping areas, 2 restaurants, and a bar where you can buy snacks or drinks. It has a small shop to buy some souvenirs. There is police surveillance and the whole island is well monitored; we liked it very much and were looking forward to returning. Beautiful waters but very cold, be mentally prepared. To go to this place, you need to book in advance and request permits; everything is done online, or you can also take advantage of going with a travel agency like I did, and they take care of everything.

Very cold water, but not something that has to be avoided. Easy and fun hiking trails behind the beach. A few restaurants here as well.

Fantastic experience: One of wonders of World. Part of a National Park which is also a Candidate World Heritage Site. Nice place to relax on tour of Islands as its near where you catch the boat back or land. Water can be cold. Amazing views too.
