Fantastic experience: The most beautiful and calm beach in Fuerteventura! Paradise-like and its calm waters make you want to swim.

Positive experience: If this beach were the first to see in Fuerteventura, it would surely be defined as beautiful. In reality, it is beautiful, often sheltered from the wind, but in Fuerte there is much more... The city is invaded by all-inclusive hotels and by places and beaches overrun by English people. Some of them don’t step outside the pools... a crime. Worth visiting but one can move on.

Negative experience: A 10-minute walk south to La Guirra Beach, there is a real sandy beach that is almost completely empty during midday and afternoon because 99% of the hotel guests prefer to lie by the pool. There is soft, clean sand there. After 5 PM, the beach is completely empty. 2 sunbeds with a parasol cost €12.

Positive experience: In my opinion, it is a beautiful beach, nice sea, equipped with loungers at a reasonable price, bars and restaurants.

Fantastic experience: The beach is very good; it's a great place to go with your kids, friends, or alone. The ocean is usually pretty warm and you can collect seashells and admire nearby shops.

Positive experience: Nice enough for sun bathing. The beach is artificial and as soon as you enter the water expect jagged rocks. At the far end sand does continue into water.

Fantastic experience: Lovely beach experience, great view and relatively comfy sunbeds. Cost €10.50 for 2x sunbeds appeared to be cash only, we only had a €10 note or a €20 note. I offered to pay the €20 note and get change, but the lovely gentleman was happy for me to pay €10 for both. This was such a small but kind gesture and really showed the welcoming attitude of the country.

Fantastic experience: It's a good area to buy souvenirs and have a drink.

Negative experience: A HORRIBLE beach. The showers don’t work and neither do the bathrooms. The worst on the island.

Negative experience: It is not recommended for going with family, there is a long stretch with stones and you can hurt yourselves a lot, and there are also very large stones that are sporadic and since the water is murky... You can really hurt yourself.

Negative experience: Beach filled with stones in the sea, dirty and uninviting, it looks very beautiful in the photos until you enter the water, people find it hard to get in. I do not recommend it.

Positive experience: Tourist and commercial beach with many loungers and fine sand. Easy to bathe.

Fantastic experience: Mega Strand!! Definitely worth a visit. We checked into the hotel behind the beach and have been there every day since. The cove allows for little breezes and clouds are almost never present. The waves are only very small, and you can stand in the water until it becomes impossible. There is also a lot around the beach, booths, mini-golf, fitness... some of it is paid except for hotel guests.

Positive experience: Nice artificial beach. Good for taking a swim. I don't give it a higher rating because of the amount of stuff people leave on the beach: plastic bags, food packaging scraps, beach toys when the holidays are over, and at least 10 garbage bags that I picked up and threw in the bin nearby. We deserve extinction.

Positive experience: At this time of year it's still acceptable... I wouldn't want to be here in the summer...

Fantastic experience: Artificial beach. Sunbeds at 5 euros each, but they could do with renewing. Sand is full of bricks and shells. Water is crystal clear. There is zero trash.

Positive experience: Loved this beach, lots of shells and a park for kids. There is even a restaurant for you to buy food and drinks, plus free toilets which are lovely and clean. There is a guy with camels on the beach too, lots of activities from water sports to beach volleyball.

Positive experience: Nice wide beach although lots of shells under foot. Water is crystal clear and beautiful to swim. Sadly a lack of beach bars.

Positive experience: A very large and lovely, man-made beach, with affordable sun loungers. A pair of loungers with canopy was €10.50 per day. Attended by several lifeguards, the shore at low tide is very stony so wear your beach shoes while in the water, (well it is a volcanic island after all). There are good walkways with clean, attended toilets (tips are optional but don't be shy...) and loads of bins etc. The chierichetto is good for a coffee or drink but a bit far from the waterfront, but the wooded walkways make this tolerable. This is a windy beach so be prepared.

Negative experience: It's a shame that they didn't take into account bringing beach sand and filling it properly, other than that it's acceptable.

Positive experience: It is located in the harbor and the water is very calm and clear, perfect for children and families.

Fantastic experience: I am not generally a beach person, but the sand is fairly solid to walk on and they have installed wooden walkways across the top half of the beach making it easier to access. Hire of sunbeds and parasol was reasonable which considering the facilities on the beach was very good value. The lavatories are excellent: kept very clean and free to use. There is a bar selling drinks, ice creams etc, and like everywhere else around the town accept debit cards.

Fantastic experience: I was there in November 2020 with my family.. on the beach there were only the three of us.. the sand was very clean and the water was wonderful.. there were even rays by the shore.. I spent a month there in November 2023 and I won't tell you what my children found under the sand.. hundreds of cigarette butts.. used tampons and garbage. I would ban smoking on the beach.. I am attaching some photos from 2020 with some shells found under the sand.

Fantastic experience: For me, the most beautiful equipped beach in Fuerteventura. Fantastic and well-equipped.

Fantastic experience: The beach is very well maintained, you can simply lie down with your towel or for 10 euros and 50 cents you can rent a sunshade with 2 loungers... at the back, there is ample space to play 2 soccer shots or with rackets or frisbee. The restrooms are very clean, after each use, a person takes care of cleaning it if needed.

Negative experience: Castillo Beach, adjacent to Caleta de Fuste, is a beach of approximately 500m of sand and crushed shells, which gives it very good qualities for being enjoyed and accessed, since on windy days it doesn’t raise as much sand as others on the island, although the ground can be somewhat uncomfortable since it is hard when sunbathing with just a towel. It is well equipped with all the services in the area near the Hotel Barceló, but it needs showers and toilets just below the Hotel Las Salinas. Apart from this, the reason I rated it 2 stars is the state of abandonment that the bottom presents, and once again we echo the local visitors and tourists who 'enjoy' it, to request the Council that with just a crew of 5 men, a light crane truck, and a mini bobcat, they should be able to remove all the stones, which make bathing a bit tricky for those of us who need it, as it is strategically the largest and best located in the area, and surely the reform would be greatly appreciated by visitors and regular users. Until this reform is carried out, in my personal assessment, we can sunbathe (better in a hammock) and quietly look for an entry route to the water to safeguard the safety of our feet. For this reason, I consider it. iiiiiiiiii 50% NOT RECOMMENDABLE !!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant beach for those with children, located in a small quiet bay, with no waves or wind. There is parking right there, cafes, public restrooms, and a playground.

Positive experience: Clean beach, sea, calm ocean, equipped with free showers and toilets, terraces, sunbeds with umbrella 10 euros for 2 people, I recommend.

Positive experience: The beach is clean, you can find shells and even small crabs. There is a beach bar with delicious coffee and juices.

Positive experience: The beach has excellent facilities, including restaurants and cafes, clean bathrooms near the beach, showers, and parasols (€7 for one person or 10 for two people). The beach is ok, it certainly isn't the best on the island, but the water is calm and it is clean. It's near the airport - about a 10 minute drive. There are dromedaries which were nice to see, with the option to pay for a ride.

Fantastic experience: Very wide beach with plenty of space. The calm bay is also great for stand-up paddling. Right on the coast, there are also some bars and restaurants. There are public toilets available there. Furthermore, the beach is clean and there are options to rent sunbeds and umbrellas.

Fantastic experience: A truly wonderful beach that's very wide. Toilets are on the beach. A bar on the beach too. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. The sand is flat as it's a man made beach. This makes it easy to walk on, but not as great for sand castles!! The water is shallow though, so great for swimming in! Very tranquil with many sunbeds under shaded umbrellas. To note, it's 10 mins drive in the car from the airport.

Positive experience: Wide and not exceptional beach surrounded by hotels and facilities, very sheltered from the northern winds, unexciting water, hard sand with small grains. Sunbeds and umbrellas available… Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities with showers… In the nearby harbor, there is an attraction of a trained seal… A bit disturbed by the continuous landing of planes at the nearby airport.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, in a very pleasant area with plenty of tourists. The sand is not the best in Fuerteventura but it has very good access. Large beach area with deck chairs to rent, like everywhere.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and peaceful beach in the resort of Caleta de Fuste. The beach is large enough and also offers the possibility to rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee. There are also free toilets available. Part of the beach facilities is a bar with overpriced prices (half-liter Fanta €4.50 etc.). Otherwise, the beach is very pleasant and there are no waves, so it's possible to swim here as well.

Fantastic experience: Nice and scenic at both day and night, even if it is highly likely to be man-made. The ocean is still real and you get some spectacular views of the coast regardless. Didn't use the sunbeds during the day so uncertain as to the cost, we mainly just had the odd walk around as we were staying very close-by.

Fantastic experience: The beach is really very beautiful. Unfortunately, there was no parking space available and part of it was also closed. Therefore, we could only drive past.

Positive experience: Beautiful sandy beach, water clear and clean. You can see nice boats at the harbor. You can rent 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for €10.50. There are toilets and a beach bar. The bar could have a bit more food options, like fries for a small hunger. Otherwise, there are restaurants, bars, and shops in the immediate area for browsing. I can recommend it.

There are a couple of beach bars where at sunset you can't miss having a beer and admiring the colors. It's quite windy and there are opportunities for water sports just the same at the nearby port.

Positive experience: Nice beach but not the best, there is much better in Fuerteventura, ideal for families, calm water for swimming and excellent for children, important to note there are sun beds and umbrellas for rent and access for disabled people.

Fantastic experience: Perfect in all seasons. The beach is completely artificial and built downwind, which makes it accessible and swimmable during all seasons, even on windy days. The water is crystal clear, shallow, with no currents or waves, and the beach is clean and well-maintained, with sunbed, umbrella, shower, bathroom services, and access for disabled people. All around there are bars, restaurants, mini-golf, padel, tennis, basketball, and a gym. Walking along the promenade to the right, you reach the shopping center 'Atlantico,' open 7 days a week, in front of which lies the continuation of the beach in all its beauty. Meanwhile, to the left, you reach the port from which catamaran excursions to seek cetaceans and sea lions depart, as well as fishing excursions and diving. Positive experience: Good beach - loungers, sun umbrellas, and restrooms available. €10.50 for 1 umbrella and 2 loungers. The water is also very nice, clear and not too deep. Unfortunately, you have to be lucky, because sometimes there are many plants in the water, which is really not nice, and it can also get very windy.
