Beach of the Little Shelters

Positive experience: Large sandy beach with a gentle slope and calm water. Ideal place for diving. It is quiet and peaceful, but rather quite a few people. Negative experience: Buena playa de arena con duchas públicas. De acceso muy cómodo y adaptado para sillas de ruedas. Aparcamiento gratuito y varios bares en la zona. No admiten perros por eso mi 1/5.

Positive experience: Si no fuera por el eterno viento... La zona es muy conocida por ser la "location" de algunas películas y series televisivas entre otras Dr.Who de la BBC guerra de titanes etc... Lo Malo es que no está nada cuidada la costa. mucha basura y casetas los pescadores no respetan nada la naturaleza y los naturalistas son peores. Pero eso sí... PROHIBIDO PERROS EN TODO EL LITORAL ...... Y LO ENTIENDO ES QUE LOS PERROS SON LOS QUE MAS BASURA GENERAN .Tiran compresas condones. dejan las latas de cerveza los cacharros rotos .las sillas de plástico botellas de plástico...esteras de paja... Es que los perros son unos guarros... Por eso entiendo que no les permitan el paso.

Positive experience: La mejor playa para ir a relajarte tu solo o con amigos. No hay corriente, calor en general. No apta para mascotas. Sitio amplio para aparcar. El problema es cuando se mete el viento, pero si tienes la oportunidad de ir cuando esta la marea baja, puedes atajarlo colocándote al final de la segunda playa, pegada a las rocas.

Positive experience: It's okay. The sand, when windy, blows all your towels, but you can hide beneath two cliffs. There is also a road to neighbor beach on the north side, although there a lot of kids were playing. Water entrance is good enough for kids and not too shallow for adults. You can snorkel around the edge of the ocean to the south, finding a bit of marine life. There is only one small open passage between rocks at 6m to freedive to, but nothing fancy. Water was calmer here than in the north of Tenerife.

Positive experience: A developing resort by the ocean easy car parking and a short promenade with a small beach area. A few cafes near the beach area wth good value food and drinks plus a panoramic restaurant which is a bit more upmarket but nicely placed tables with ocean view. The wind can really blow along the seashore here so be prepared for it. Looks like this place will grow in time but at present a quiet time by the ocean can be yours .

Positive experience: Una playa agradable, de arena gruesa y pocas piedras en el agua, para caminar, si hay piedras grandes las cuales no molestan. No es una playa comercial si hay posibilidad de alquilar tumbona y sombrillas, no hay salvavidas.

Fantastic experience: We went snorkeling with the company: Meerjungfrau Apnoe Akademie ES. We found it on Get your guide. Amazing! We saw 2 turtles, rays, sponges, fish. (We were looking for a nurse shark that was in the area, but we didn't find it) We were delighted, it was beautiful.

Positive experience: Great place to visit if you've got transport as it's a little way from the main tourist attractions. It's good for diving and has a few diving centres, quite a nice beach area to walk along and some nice little bars. It's well known for its derelict church building and its outbuildings, it was built many years ago as a leper colony but was never used as such. Great for photo enthusiasts theres lots of different genre in this area to get some fab photos, easy to access it's a different place to visit if your holidaying in Tenerife

Positive experience: Great little for diving. Best to go in the morning or a night dive as its popular for training divers to do training. Nice cafes and supermarket near by
