Fantastic experience: Beach in the middle of Arrecife. It has complete services such as lifeguard, showers,... The only problem is that although it has fine sand, the access to the water is over stone slabs with a risk of slipping.

Positive experience: The beach is large with light sand. There are toilets and showers. However, it's difficult to enter the water due to rocks and a very long line of shallows. I couldn't swim at all in the blazing heat. There is a café nearby and the city center is close. This is a big plus. Perhaps, at high tide, when there is more water, it will be more pleasant to relax here.

Fantastic experience: A lovely beach, although I go rarely, concerts are usually held and it's amazing. Also, during the city’s party, it's where to see the fireworks, I love them.

Positive experience: Very nice beach at high tide. When it goes down, it has many stones. Located in a perfect location with all the ideal conditions. Restrooms and showers, playground, and shops.

Negative experience: What is supposed to be beautiful about this beach does not make sense to me. This place has nothing attractive either. One snack bar after another and in between cheap Asian souvenir shops. I am even more surprised that one can find accommodation here. We have been to this fascinating island for the third time and are captivated by the charm of the small towns. Arrecife definitely does not belong to that.

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful beach in Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. It is perfect with children as the water is calm and shallow for many meters. The posted photos are from Easter 2024 (end of March).

Positive experience: The beach is large and well-maintained, it was also recommended by the hostel worker where I stayed. Nearby the beach, there is a bus stop interchange and a parking area with a promenade. On the downside, construction work is currently taking place on the side of the Gran Hotel and a significant part of the coastline is rocky, as is the case on many beaches of the island.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, some palm trees for shade. There is construction going on, otherwise very nice with the promenade. Not a highlight, but it's enough for swimming. It goes in very shallow, but there are also many stones.

Positive experience: Good beach when they are not doing roadworks. They were improving the pedestrian area when I went. There are lots of empty shop units on the front. It looks like an area under regeneration.

Fantastic experience: Nice beach, calm for a weekend. Long and sandy. It's worth taking a walk on the wooden promenade to the end, there's a great spot there to drink whatever you want. I recommend it.

Positive experience: A beach of a large commercial town. With construction work ongoing on the promenade it has little to commend it. Food however at a beach side restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, almost deserted when we arrived at the end of October, so we had one end of the beach totally to ourselves! A minor drawback is the amount of construction work at one end of the beach, which can be quite noisy at times, although we were mostly at the opposite end, so we were far from the worst.

Positive experience: White sand beach in Arrecife, crystal clear water although the bottom looks muddy when you step on it, it creates a strange feeling.

Positive experience: Unfortunately, there were no sunbeds or parasols to hire. The paving is being lifted at the moment to make way for pedestrianisation. Very noisy in the mornings from the works. However, the beach is lovely and the sea clean.

Positive experience: Great beach in Arrecife, well the only beach in Arrecife to be more exact, it is very lovely with high tide, with low tide it's a bit messy with all the rocks but it is a volcanic island so rocks are to be expected everywhere. The beach has a rock fence that won't allow high waves so it's good for the kids. Now about the downside, and that is that there's pipes coming out from the Gran hotel and sometimes the water gets infected, but local authorities usually close the beach when that happens.

Negative experience: Beach full of stones, little shade and the city is not very well laid out for tourism. The entire center and this beach are filled with construction works that have been going on for weeks. The sunset is very beautiful but that's about it. I was very disappointed to choose accommodation here.

Negative experience: Very beautiful beach but only if you want to sunbathe, to swim you need to be patient and bring plasters because for more than 10 meters there are sharp stones to avoid and they are very dangerous.

Negative experience: Bad beach for being the capital. It’s good for sunbathing, but to swim it's like a muddy swamp, very slippery. There are many better beaches all over the island.

Fantastic experience: Nice local beach. Great for relax if you don't fancy spending hours in the bus to other beaches . You can go for a nice walk around the costs or run. The beach itself I'd sandy with an easy access into water. But I would definitely recommend to take water shoes. Lots of shop's and restaurants near by.

Negative experience: If you are looking for a beach where there's a lot of space and almost nobody around, this is definitely an option. However, it's really not pretty and it's also rather smelly. Plus, the street is just next to it so you also have the noise of the cars and a tall all-glass hotel adds some ugliness too.

The sand is nice and clean and there are no rocks, the water is also good and clear, you can see people doing different sports inside the water, you can also see some marine life on the rocks such as crabs. There are also many good restaurants opposite this beach, it is recommended to visit it

Positive experience: Beautiful sandy beach, quiet and peaceful For the first time I was suprised theres less than 10 people in such a big beach. We didn't stay much longer as the wind keep on blowing the sand into our mat. Maybe bringing a personal beach bench is a better option. There's showers and road accessible for wheelchair. Beach is surrounded by buildings. Closed to city. No dogs area.

Fantastic experience: A fabulous beach with easy swimming and no boats to worry about. Beds 3€ sunshade 2€ can't complain at that in Costa Teguise that were much dearer. Buy beach shoes for entering the water as it's very stoney after the sand.

Negative experience: Toilets closes on Sunday? They should take then the blue flag
