Fantastic experience: Preciosa playa salvaje. Podían permitir perros, es lo suficientemente grande y salvaje .
Fantastic experience: The beach is awesome. The only thing I would change is that dogs could be allowed, even if it’s just in some part of the beach since it is huge, both in length and width.

Positive experience: It's an incredible beach. I don't give it 5 stars because it's the dirtiest beach I've ever seen in my life. I don't know how it will be in summer, if they clean it or what they do, but I went in mid-March and it was pitiful. Microplastics everywhere, bottles, bags, cans, and other trash everywhere; on the sand of the beach, in the back where the path is... a shame.

Positive experience: Immense, gorgeous, lots of surfers, has a very small beach bar but if you wait half an hour you can find a spot.
Fantastic experience: The beach is somewhat overcrowded, but it has quite large parking areas. Several zones with tables and a playground for children. Beautiful views of the dunes with their small ponds and the beach. Wooden walkways to access from different points. However, there are no shaded areas. A beach bar next to the main entrance, but it seemed to have few showers.
Fantastic experience: An excellent beach with many options: sunbathing, hiking, walking along the beach, having a drink at the beach bar, taking a stroll with a furry friend, surfing, bodyboarding, fishing... There is good public and free parking, a pine forest, an extensive beach with a natural dune complex, it is very close to Ferrol and somewhat sheltered when the N.E. wind blows, which is very common with the anticyclone in summer. The photos I publish are from October.

Fantastic experience: Playa muy larga y tranquila. La gente se aglomera en los accesos cerca del chiringuito y puesto de socorrista, pero puedes situarte alejado si quieres más tranquilidad.
Positive experience: Playa amplia con bares muy cerca e incluso hay camping.Tiene además mucho sitio para aparcar y una zona rocosa de fácil acceso en la cual se pueden hacer bonitas fotos de atardeceres. Ideal para surfear. También tiene socorristas y aseos públicos.

Fantastic experience: This beach is a must see when you explore the beaches close or north of Ferrol. I could spend days there to chill, swim and sunbathe. It's pretty long but has various areas that make it interesting for a walk along the water and dunes. It's a bit similar to Valdoviño but still different in its own kind. Enjoy and relax.

Fantastic experience: Una de las playas más emblemáticas de Ferrol, a tan solo 15 minutos del centro. Perfecta para la práctica de deportes acuáticos que necesitan olas (bodyboard, surf, windsurf, kitesurfing) y para disfrutar de unas vistas de escándalo (casi 2km de arena fina y blanca, dunas y mar oleoso que hipnotizan). La playa, además, cuenta con la distinción de Bandera Azul. Lo que nos verifica que ha pasado unos estrictos controles de calidad de las aguas de baño, información y educación ambiental, gestión ambiental y seguro, servicios e instalaciones. Analizando todo al dedillo, las únicas cosas negativas que tiene la playa es que es muy ventosa para tomar el sol (porque te bañan las arenas) y que en época alta, se encuentra muy masificada.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, less crowded in the morning than in the afternoon, where the Alpendre area is a hotspot. The waves that form are fun and great for the kids to play. The Boa Onda area is quieter.

Positive experience: Beautiful place, pleasant and good for swimming. In summer it gets very busy, parking is difficult.

Positive experience: We were eager to visit it but it was impossible, we went in the afternoon and the parking area is very large, but it was impossible to park.

But if you want to go, you have to know that it's an Atlantic beach and it has cold water, and sometimes swimming is restricted due to currents or waves. The only downside is that it's windy.

Fantastic experience: A very cool surf spot , especially on the right side of the beach. The left is amazing and locals are very friendly and welcoming. If you ask them to sing your national anthem, they will. Also, they love to give you all priorities thanks to their christian values. Come with friends and kids !
