Positive experience: Platja de Muro is a quiet and relaxing beach, nothing extraordinary, just a nice, calm place to unwind. The access is very convenient, with plenty of parking spaces right behind the beach. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for peace and simplicity rather than excitement.
Fantastic experience: Very long beach, actually Alcudia beach continues to Muro beach. Fine yellow sand, clear water of beautiful colors. Although it is too shallow, the water is excellent. A large part of the beach is free, and at the ends of the beach you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. You can access the beach from a populated area, where you can probably find a parking lot, but also from both sides of the wooded area. At the right end of the wooded area, there are smaller, unorganized parking spaces. We recommend parking on the left side of wooded area, where is relatively big parking lot, where from you access the beach, passing next to the beautiful beach bar.
Fantastic experience: Shallow and clear water, natural beach with free parking, well maintained
Negative experience: unfortunately I found this beach too crowded, too small, and not accessible by wheelchair. I do not recommend it for those with mobility impairments (wheelchair).
Fantastic experience: The Playa de Muro beach is really beautiful, but it is also very busy during the high season. We arrived around 7 PM. This way we found a parking spot and also a free sunbed in the sand. The wide sandy beach is relatively shallow at first. The water was very clear that day.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean, and safe beach with all essential services within easy reach. Soft light-colored sand and crystal-clear water make it a pleasure to spend the day here. The only downside – it can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful. White, fine sand and water in shades of turquoise blue. The bad thing is that there were areas near the trees with quite a few mosquitoes in the evening. We also found black leaves or algae on the shore, but that's something that most beaches in Mallorca with nearby vegetation have in common. It doesn't look nice, but it's part of nature. The beach is very long, you can walk for more than an hour.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and long stretch of beach. Very many loungers with umbrellas and safes. However, quite crowded. There is a nice beach bar and the beach is very clean! Smoke-free beach.
Fantastic experience: A fantastic beach with white sand and turquoise water. The water is mostly shallow. There are sunbeds along the beach (2 sunbeds and a parasol 15eur). There is no natural shade. The wind is constantly blowing so it is not unbearable because of the sun, but in July/August the sun is very strong. There are restaurants on the beach, the prices are quite high. Next to the beach, you can walk through the national park on well-maintained paths, with rich vegetation.

Fantastic experience: This beach has it all. Shallow clear aqua water. Clean and warm enough for everyone to get in. Very safe with lifeguards on lookout. If you get a chance, find the lady that does massages on the beach. Best money I spent on holiday !!
Fantastic experience: Enchanting sea, free parking near the beach, supermarket for every need, paid sunbeds until they run out and a free beach. Lifeguard and bar on the beach. Easy to reach by car.
Fantastic experience: My wife and I stayed at the Playa Esperanza Resort Hotel and every day we go to the beach of Muro located in Muro, Mallorca. We use the beach loungers in the hotel garden which are free because the loungers and umbrellas on the beach scattered throughout the garden are to be paid for, but two loungers and one umbrella cost around 14 euros per person, and each umbrella has a safe box! From the hotel garden, walking you get to the beach which is 7 km long with white sand and crystal clear water, even if it was green on the days we went. Other days the water was full of seaweed. There are different lifeguards all over the beach, and in general, there are loungers from different hotels for payment all over the beach. We do not have a car, but there are many parking spaces in front of the beach. There are many beach bars, restaurants, and a surf school paddle surf.
Fantastic experience: Meravigliosa spiaggia kilométrica,ottima per fare passeggiate. Super attrezzata con docce e bagni pubblici,gli ombrelloni si possono occupare se sono liberi e il bagnino viene poi a riscuotere: 1 ombrellone+2 sdraio= 15 euro ;) Il mare è una meraviglia.

Fantastic experience: The best “platja” i’ve ever been to in my life. The water is warm and clear, the setting is beautiful, with port alcudia on one side and can picafort on the other. The beach is next to many hotels, shops etc. and the beautiful mountains are scattered across the landscape. Waves are, most of the time, small with occasional bigger waves every once in a while. I hope to come to alcudia again solely for the beach XD
Positive experience: We spent a relaxing day at the beach and saw something unexpected near the rocks. A sea hare was slowly drifting in the shallow water. At first I could not tell what it was, but after a closer look it turned out to be this soft brown creature moving with the tide. It was strange and beautiful in a quiet way. The beach itself was calm and pleasant. There were a few spots where bits of wood floated in the water, but it did not really take away from the experience. The weather was warm, the water felt good, and it was easy to enjoy the day. A peaceful beach visit with an interesting encounter I will remember.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with fine sand, sea with bright colors, affordable umbrellas and sunbeds, to enjoy the sea it's better not to stay too close to the point where windsurfing, canoeing, paddleboarding and similar are rented.

Fantastic experience: Very nice beach miles long… wowww.. Clean water, it’s a bit wavy by light wind. Great place for sunbathing, windsurfing. I like the hotels around the sea side. I think next time we come here.
Fantastic experience: Playa grande en la bahía de Alcúdia, con arena blanca. Fui un día de viento y estaba llena de windsurfistas, tenía bastantes algas. Tiene hamacas previo pago y sombrillas.
Fantastic experience: Very long and beautiful beach, clean, and water is crystal clear. Didn't find any toillets or showers nearby. It was very windy when we were there so there were a lot of surfers and waves, which was fun. We parked the car near the Spar which was the only free space available (Sunday afternoon).

Fantastic experience: Remek tengerparti strand. Kristálytiszta víz, nagyon világos puha homok. A közeli mólónál nagyon jó képeket lehet készíteni, snorkelező pontnak is kiváló. Látogatásunk során még rája is úszkált a móló alatt.
Fantastic experience: Happy hours spent snorkeling and paddle boarding in the shallow waters watching the small fish that gather in the leigh of the wooden pier. Easily accessed from the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park. Great spot for photos and seeing the water bombers practicing mornings in the bay. As you can see a number of boat trips are available from the pier throughout the day.

Fantastic experience: Wunderschöner Strand mit Türkis farbenen Meer. Flach abfallend, sodass man sehr weit ins Wasser laufen kann. Eine Taucherbrille lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Seesterne, diverse Fischarten und sogar einen kleinen Rochen konnte man sehen. Zwei Liegen + Sonnenschirm kosten 20,90€ am Tag
Fantastic experience: Ottimo mare cristallino e lunga spiaggia; comincia a riempirsi verso mezzogiorno quindi consiglio di arrivare prima di quell’ora, a disposizione ristoranti e diversi chioschi ottimo
Positive experience: Sehr sehr schöner Strand mit blauem Wasser und weißem Sand. Für 14,25€ kann man sich zwei Liegen inkl Sonnenschirm mieten. Frisch aufgeschnittenes Obst sowie Getränke kann man direkt am Strand kaufen. Es gibt aber auch diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten die fussläufig erreichbar sind. Etwas nervig sind die Händler mit ihren Sonnenbrillen und Tüchern die einem alle 10Min versuchen etwas zu verkaufen.

Fantastic experience: Great clean beach. Clear and shallow water
Positive experience: The beach is very quiet, it changes a lot during the day, in the morning was nice and clean, calm, in afternoon it might get some seaweed and more wavy as some seas are usually. Depends a lot on currents and tides. Although we always found a stretch that was clean. One day we went to the other side, where many hotels are, but I did prefer this stretch since it is quieter, more natural . Water is warm, it is a pleasant beach to walk since is so long.

Fantastic experience: Superb beach, umbrella x2 and sun lounger for 14.25€, very reasonable. Clean beach, and turquoise water, the best. Great, I recommend it +++. Convenience stores nearby for food and ice cream. A special mention for the people selling fruits like watermelon, melon, mango, and coconut directly on the beach, it's awesome.

Fantastic experience: No words!! Lovely place I do recommend if you visit Palma or the surrounded please visit Playa de Muro the water is warm. U can take a boat there to visit different places loads of hotels around good for families basically for everyone. They have toilets and also showers.
Fantastic experience: Family-friendly, calm and clean beach especially in the morning when there’s not much wind and waves, that’s when the water is crystal clear. Parking is easily available right in front of the beach in the main season until 9.15 am.

Negative experience: The majority of the sun loungers are reserved by people for a whole week, we managed to find 2 unreserved and added a 3rd from another unreserved, when the guy came to charge us he was not happy and advised we could only have 2! We said ok and began to leave, he became aggressive and demanded we pay for 1 hour, when we refused he loudly advised we were banned.! All rather funny really but I don’t recommend this place…

Fantastic experience: Caribbean feeling in Mallorca! The water is very warm and gradually shallow. A bit murky but still great for swimming. Overall, clean: hardly any litter and seaweed. The sand is very fine and pleasant. Unfortunately, there aren't many beach bars but there are many shops not too far from the beach. It can be a bit challenging to find a sunbed. However, this certainly depends on the time. Still enough space for towels on the beach. Highly recommended! Certainly the best beach in Mallorca!
Positive experience: Absolutely overrated! The beach is very narrow and completely overcrowded. We do not understand why this beach consistently receives good reviews. There are nicer beaches in Mallorca than this one. We have been to many beaches in Europe and this one is really just average.
Fantastic experience: White beach with a stunning sea! There is both a free area and a section with umbrellas and sun loungers. Umbrellas and 2 sun loungers are €15 (June 2024). Before arriving at the beach, there is a supermarket where you can buy food. Or along the beach, there are some small bars. Free parking in the surrounding area.

Fantastic experience: The Playa del Muro is a beautiful fine sand beach with matching sky-blue water and a touch of the Caribbean. Evening walks along the coast are also not boring. For me, it's by far the most beautiful beach in Mallorca.

Fantastic experience: An amazing beach, crystal clear water and considering it was at the end of June and on a weekday, it was really not overcrowded (it's 6km of beach). If you want to rent the umbrellas, it's 5 euros per day and each sunbed is 5 euros. You have to reserve it well online or sit on one that is free and wait for the collector.

The further from Alcudia, the smaller the crowds. I honestly recommend choosing a hotel right by this beach.
