Fantastic experience: It is the best beach I have ever been in terms of facilities. FREE parking. The beach has showers, clean toilets with toilet paper, changing rooms, lockers, disabled facilities, paramedics, and bodyguards. There is even sun cream with SPF 50 available in toilets, although it is not the best quality, as I got burned after using it. It is a very wide and clean beach with a nice swimming area—there are no stones when the water is shallow. Also, a few bars around to eat and drink.

Negative experience: As a beach, it's great, but if you come with dogs, it's not advisable at all. The nearest parking leaves you very far from the spot where the animal can get into the water. You can't let them loose unless they are in a fenced area of the beach, and it doesn't allow the owner to bathe with the animal either. There are no nearby showers, and the path that should be made of wood is full of sand, so you sink. I do not recommend coming with dogs.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite beaches in Cádiz!

Negative experience: This year is worse. No trash cans, no showers despite the fact that Pantano Hurones has more water than last summer, stones everywhere, and the worst part is that the path to Punta del Boquerón has become impassable because the boards have disappeared with the sand. As always, loose dogs bothering and annoying the walkers.

It is abandoned, dirty, without showers, etc. If this does not change, soon people will have to look for other alternatives. Please do it for the village that we have always fought to have this beautiful beach.

Negative experience: It has been a disappointment in the dog area; they say there is access and it turns out it's 1.5 km from where you leave your cars. When you get there, you find nothing... that is, there are no showers for the pets or for us, there is also nothing like a beach bar, safety (lifeguards), or fountains. It has been a bit disappointing, since I have seen that there are 8 accesses to the beach for people and close to where you leave the car, and for those of us with a pet, they send us to the end of the world as if we had the plague, but walking where we are is okay.

Fantastic experience: The services for bathers are great, it's a shame that the dog beach is very far away and the access path is sometimes impassable due to the sand and without a single service there. The rest of the beach is perfectly attended to and full of services.

You have to cross a pool of still water in the middle (or walk around it) to reach the water's edge. Many stones, but also great shells. The water has a pleasant temperature in the summer and the waves make for fun bathing. However, you have to accept some seaweed.

As I wrote, the urinals are very high and next to each other without partitions, there are no foot showers because, according to the city council, the Junta de Andalucía prohibits it, when in Cádiz and Chiclana, which are also Andalusian, there are foot showers. And another thing I saw today... There are dozens of fish agonizing in the channel that separates the parking lots from the beach, but the Common Ringed Plover continues to nest in the dunes. It seems that the plover does have feelings, and those thousands of fish deserve a fryer. Good evening, city council, hugs.

Fantastic experience: A virgin beach, the water is crystal clear, spacious for walking, with several beach bars where you can eat very well, a Surf School, and public restrooms with hygiene.

Negative experience: I have been reviewing for Google for years and I had to edit the review of this place because they consider that I am too frank. If you are hesitating to go with your pets, in summary, think about it well. There is a long way to get to the beach (2 km in particular) and without any source or bin. The beach is beautiful but the management of access and parking by the Town Hall is non-existent. To begin with, you arrive with all your excitement at Camposoto beach. One of the only two dog-friendly beaches you find in all of Cádiz. Upon arrival, you see the map and see that the beach has 8 access points. Well, the dog beach is at access 8 on the left. You, with your car and good faith, go to the end of the beach to park. If you're lucky, you'll find something; otherwise, you will have to park 2 km from the mandatory access for dogs because don't forget that if you enter through any other access, you will be breaking the rules and therefore a fine will follow. Once you reach the access, bingo: 2 km walking to get to the beach along a wooden path that has its pros and cons. It seems to have been made in alternating seasons because the composition of the path goes from wood to stones, which are more prone to a big stumble. Let's just say that the path could be a competition to see who ends up with injuries, losing a flip-flop, or one of the umbrellas or coolers. You have to muster the courage for a good path with NO trash cans or NO FOUNTAINS. Since animals don't need that under a blazing sun and extremely high temperatures on the beach for two kilometers, right? With this, please, San Fernando Town Hall, don't forget that animals are living beings and those of us who go with them are people. By the way, since you isolate us from the beach on the last exit, at least a parking lot next to it with preference wouldn't be too bad.

Fantastic experience: Excellent! Fantastic beach with some of the best facilities I have seen. In our case, I want to thank the maintenance woman at access 8, as we forgot a windbreaker in the restrooms and the next day, when we went hoping to find it, she had it in her module.

Negative experience: To go with your dog you have to go 2km or more and in the beach bars, they don’t allow you to eat with your dog, at least in the closest one 'to the dog beach'.

Positive experience: The beach is beautiful, but the uncivilized people are the ones who spoil it, leaving hooks, bags, plastics, and wooden sticks with spikes. If the locals took better care of their beach, it would be a 10. Not taking care of it is not loving it. There is protection for birds like the little ringed plover. Also, there are some people who care about picking up the plastics and cigarette butts that others throw away.

Fantastic experience: Kilometers of virgin beach without buildings and beach bars in summer that disappear in winter, sufficient services in its most crowded area. The beach is divided into several zones: the first reaches where the cars can go, which is the most family-friendly; another zone that can only be reached by walking along the beach or through the parallel path in the natural park, ending at the tip of Boquerón in front of the village of Sactipetri. Between these two zones, there is a very spacious area designated for dogs and another area between the bunkers to practice naturism, both accessed from the path with designated entrances for that purpose. It is essential to take a walk along the path and enjoy the natural park through which it runs.

Negative experience: It would be much better if the people from the city were more civic and didn't leave behind plastic bags, cans, aluminum foil, broken children's balloons that are forgotten and not picking up the remains of those balloons. We lack civic sense in industrial quantities for the islanders, 'my fellow countrymen' by the way.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful and wild beaches in the Cádiz area, in summer they set everything up so that no comfort is lacking. A good sifting of the sand to crush the remains of the shells would be beneficial with the permission of the green parties.

Fantastic experience: Great amenities among an abundance of free parking. Showers, restrooms, the boardwalk, and the street side parking were all perfect. If you’re looking to get to a beach out of the heart of the city this is the place. A bit of a south wind made the sand tough to avoid but the showers took care of it with easy. Seems to be some cool hiking trails and free camper parking. I would love to go back and cycle the new VERY LONG board walk they are building.

I would like to make a safety improvement proposal for everyone: in the last lane, number 8, we found a designated area for boating, and outside of it, in an area that is no longer designated, surfers and swimmers sharing space with the consequent risk for the swimmers. My proposal is to define the surfing areas, considering that in that zone, swimmers also have the right to a safe bath.

Negative experience: I went to this beach these days knowing that it had some strange restrictions from what I had read...but I didn’t know that those restrictions were so absurd. The only conclusion I reach is that whoever set them doesn’t have animals and worse, they surely require a suitable area for them, and it’s a way of leaving them out but pretending not to...REALLY A SHAMEFUL BEACH. What is this about being able to let the animal loose on the beach only in an enclosed area?? Do they think they are prisoners?? And what about the fact that neither it nor we can bathe in some sheet of water?? Because after looking and looking, the water was all the same, it doesn't go by sheets...absurd! And having to walk two kilometers to reach the designated area seriously??? And what about older people who have dogs, because talking to a local lady, the poor woman was outraged because she couldn’t walk that far to enjoy a day with her dog... It’s better to not allow access than to ridicule people who have dogs and want to go to the beach with them!

Fantastic experience: The dog area is excessively separated from the rest of the beach; it seems as if dogs have fleas and must be kept away from society, specifically more than a kilometer and a half. Nevertheless, it is a good beach where dogs enjoy playing.
