Fantastic experience: Mei's favorite beach in Suances. Yeah, of course. La Concha has almost got everything for kids. In the green flag days, wide open fine sand beach and shallow water area provide 'swimming pool' fun and sand castle fun, ball fun; in the good wave days, come on, time to get your surfboard out! And at the corner, that dune, so nice for a 'sleigh'! And just next to the beach, there is a playground, a skate park, and a fine path for walking, skating......so many different ways to get kids exhausted and later back home calmly! In addition, ice-cream shops nearby, shower, toilet, available all year round, all these, make la Concha such a lovely beach.

Positive experience: A beautiful beach in the Cantabrian town of Suances, the sand is particularly fine and very clean, it is quite wide without massive crowding. There is hardly any wave action, so it is very comfortable for a good bath, swimming, or playing with the kids. The water temperature is pleasant, it stated that it was 24 degrees, so it refreshes but is not too cold. It is worth stopping along the way to take a good bath.
Positive experience: A fine sandy beach, large in size and with constant winds. Without a doubt, one of the best places in Suances. It has hidden stone stairs that lead you to the top where the houses are.

Positive experience: It is a quite long and wide beach with very fine sand. It's easy to find a good spot without crowds, what is a little more complicated is parking, it has beautiful views with cliffs on one side and the estuary and more beaches on the other. Very comfortable for families, with many waves for the kids to enjoy, which also attracts many surfers. It has the usual services, lifeguards, beach bars, and a promenade with several bars that leads to some dunes and then to the Suances port.
Fantastic experience: If you have children, they will love the promenade for biking or skating. There is also a great variety of restaurants and bars to grab a drink or eat something along the beach. Beautiful place to enjoy with family.

Still, there is plenty of space, the sand is fine and fresh, and there’s a good wide path to the water, warm water despite being in the north. Incredible natural views.

Fantastic experience: Really nice sandy public beach. It is wide, clean, and somewhat shielded from waves. Had showers as well. The left side/edge is rocky, which could potentially be good for snorkeling as well. There are a lot of free parking spots (marked with white) on the roadside. Would recommend going here, especially before 1-2pm, as waves will start getting stronger with high tide coming.

Fantastic experience: Esta playa se encuentra en Suances, es una playa más turística con arena blanca y fina, cuenta con bares, restaurantes, marisquerías, hoteles y de más comercios turísticos... La playa tiene un gran paseo marítimo donde se encuentran varios accesos a la playa hechos de madera y un parque infantil con diversos columpios de atractivo infantil... Hay varios aparcamientos públicos pero la zona es más turística y cuesta bastante aparcar sobre todo a partir de media mañana.

Fantastic experience: Quiet beach except for Sunday when it was full but no problem finding a spot and very clean.
Fantastic experience: The beach is spectacular, the village is very welcoming. The downside is the thousands of surf schools that invade the waters, not respecting swimmers by surfing on top of them with their pointed boards. The lifeguards spend the day whistling at them, neglecting the swimmers. It’s a constant danger; when you least expect it, you have a board on top of you. It's a shame but I won't be returning, I like to swim in peace.

Fantastic experience: Pasamos a bañarnos en la playa de la Concha y la experiencia fue excelente. La arena es muy fina y la playa está bastante limpia, con agua clara y sin piedras. Sin embargo, aunque el cielo esté nublado, es importante tomar precauciones porque uno puede terminar quemándose.

There is a somewhat small area for parking nearby. On weekends, it is frankly difficult to park close by. Clean and fresh water. There are showers at the exit. Very well maintained.

Fantastic experience: The beach looked beautiful, unfortunately we only stopped on our way between Comillas and Santander and there was a lightning storm so not really beach weather, but I'm sure it's great when the sun is shinning.
