Razo Beach
Information
Praia de Razo is a stunning and extensive beach located in Spain, renowned for its wild ocean and great surfing conditions. Users have highlighted the following points:
- Pros: Beautiful and clean sand, ideal for surfing, with surf schools available for beginners and experienced surfers alike.
- The beach features various services including restaurants, chiringuitos, and ample parking, although it can get crowded during peak season.
- Visitors have enjoyed the breathtaking views, especially from the lookout point, and appreciate the well-maintained facilities such as lifeguards and restrooms.
However, some users expressed concerns:
- Cons: The beach can become oversaturated with visitors, especially during summer weekends, making parking difficult.
- Concerns about the water quality and a strong surf can make swimming hazardous, so caution is advised.
- Some guests noted that while the beach is perfect for surfers, it is less suitable for casual swimmers due to designated swimming areas.
Overall, Praia de Razo is highly recommended for its natural beauty and surfing opportunities, making it a popular choice among beachgoers.

Fantastic experience: Neci sandy beach with only a few stones and smaller rocks. Its wind, but if the sun is shining its fine. Its wide and very long, with a lot of parking places (free) close to the beach.
Fantastic experience: One of the best (or the best) beaches in the area for surfing when there are winds from the south or southwest. Many peaks and of very good quality. Sandy beach, almost without rocks. Recently, they have blocked access to an area above the beach where many people used to sleep in vans and caravans, people who were usually careful and respectful of the environment (there was usually no trash around). Normally, they were foreigners (I suppose that, in general, Spaniards are messier than the Nordics, or at least compared to people from those countries who travel by caravan). I don't know if the fact that they have blocked that parking lot and that area has to do with the opening of a kind of campsite right next to it. It seems that every day it is more difficult to do things without paying. Living is becoming very expensive.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular landscape!! White sand beach and turquoise sea. Surrounded by mountains. Beautiful color contrast..very wide beach with small coves, perfect beach for surfers due to the big waves. It has a large parking area and you can park caravans, campers, etc!! There is a beach bar right on the beach. I recommend visiting!!
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful. There's plenty of parking and a great viewpoint between both beaches.
Positive experience: Very long beach (it connects with Baldaio), with very fine sand and big waves. Ideal for walking a lot from corner to corner. I suppose that in low season and low tide it will be less overwhelming, but a sunny Sunday in August with high tide... phew... First, be careful; Google took us up a closed road; we had to turn around and set it to take us to a beach restaurant (there are many) to get there properly. There is plenty of parking space, but it fills up to the brim; people bring tents and camp on the grass above the beach (it looks like the Mediterranean); beach bars, ice cream stalls, swings... I got the impression that the water looked dirty (too gray foam), but I don't know why. Rocks. Good access (ramps and stairs), lifeguard... (I don't give 5 stars because it seemed too touristy to me, and with water that wasn't very clean, but that depends on personal taste.)

Fantastic experience: Beautiful landscape, it has a shirt shop and a park, it's great for watching the sunset and then having dinner at one of the local restaurants, they are a 10.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Arenal, beautiful beach and fantastic for surfing its fantastic waves, good restaurants with terraces and fantastic views to eat or have some drinks.
Fantastic experience: Must-visit surf spot in Galicia ✨. Everything you need to equip yourself at Art Surf Camp, top-notch restaurants, and wonderful sunsets. For the lucky ones, dolphins regularly join the surfers. ☺️❤️

Positive experience: The beach is very large and well-kept. Next to it, there are restaurants and parking. The only downside is that it's crowded. We came on a Saturday in August at 6:00 PM to see how the area was. I looked for a spot for 15 minutes and found one when people started to leave. The lifeguard commented that this is how it is all the time. I prefer to be next to a small beach, but empty and with plenty of space to park the car.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach. Dangerous for swimming if the lifeguards' instructions are not followed.

Fantastic experience: Natural space with very clean wave beaches even with how beaten they are. Incredible place.

Fantastic experience: The beach is spectacular!
Positive experience: Beautiful, but excessively crowded.
Positive experience: It is rainy today
Fantastic experience: Very good
Positive experience: Beautiful for surfing, they gave you surfing lessons at the surf camp, very good indeed.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful. There's plenty of parking and a great viewpoint between both beaches.
Negative experience: Not recommended, the sand is terrible, it's just rocks.
Fantastic experience: Very cool
Fantastic experience: Very spacious and beautiful beach. It's a pity that the sea mist ruins the swim.
Positive experience: Very long beach (it connects with Baldaio), with very fine sand and big waves. Ideal for walking a lot from corner to corner. Fantastic experience: Natural beach near the municipality of Arnedo with some of the best views of Punta Razo and Playa de Baldayo. In low season, it's a luxury to enjoy this beach like we did. I will return on more occasions because we love this area.
Positive experience: The beach is very large and well-kept. Next to it, there are restaurants and parking. The only downside is that it's crowded. We came on a Saturday in August at 6:00 PM to see how the area was. I looked for a spot for 15 minutes and found one when people started to leave. Fantastic experience: Stunning beach with wild beautiful ocean crashing on the sands. Loved it
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach with fine sand, perfect for sunbathing and swimming, and also ideal for surfing, walking, and having some drinks at night in summer.
Positive experience: How many years has it been since I returned to this beach?
Fantastic experience: Simply Amazing!
Fantastic experience: Great and with good access.
Positive experience: Nice Beach
Fantastic experience: The beach is nice and perfect for surfing, we went in June during the San Juan festival, it was super good and very cheap, near the beach there is a place to rent the surfboard and wetsuit for 20€ for 2 hours, there is a rate for more time and even a rate for the whole day.
Fantastic experience: Full beach, ideal for spending the day... With waves for surfing. Spacious apartment and a restaurant that opens all year round...
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, with a blue flag and perfect for surfers.
Fantastic experience: Very nice place!
Fantastic experience: Long and very beautiful beach. With a part of bars and restaurants at the top that, however, does not spoil it because it is at a different height and is barely visible from the sand. I have been several times and the sea has always been wild and rough, ideal for surfers.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and very spacious beach
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach for walking and surfing.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, popular with surfers and holidaymakers.
Fantastic experience: Beach par excellence due to the intensity of the sea on this Costa da Morte.
Positive experience: The tides of the Galician beaches have nothing to do with the Mediterranean. Watch out for swimmers. Other than that, the Galician landscape is spectacular.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach to surf and enjoy. Nacho is the best surf teacher in town at Act Surf school.
Fantastic experience: Cool beach and good waves.
Fantastic experience: With a very green field at the edge of a great beach full of beach bars where you can grab a drink, but yes, a lot of people.
Positive experience: Very beautiful, many surfers and places to eat by the beach. Very close to Carballo.
Positive experience: Beach with open sea, regulated parking with various services, monitored bathing areas.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach full of life and possibilities. It is very large, which invites you to stroll or have a quieter moment if you want to escape the crowd. It has good waves for surfing or simply to enjoy a swim in the open sea.
Fantastic experience: Very quiet space with a clean and well-maintained beach.
Fantastic experience: Spending the day and eating at El Cordobés is the perfect beach plan.
Fantastic experience: Natural space with very clean wave beaches even with how beaten they are. Incredible place.
Fantastic experience: @pauasurf a true surprise all the adventure sports, Iara for all audiences: Surfing, Kitesurfing, kayaking, horseback riding, electric bike rides ... and much more
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, I am from the Canary Islands and the beaches of Razo and its people are very cool, I recommend it.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach. Dangerous for swimming if the lifeguards' instructions are not followed.
Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised, it's a very large beach with beautiful views, fine and very clean sand, it has quite a wave, suitable for surfers. The public restrooms are some of the cleanest I have seen at a beach.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach although a bit rough, ideal for surfing. Very well equipped with green spaces where you can set up your table, hammocks, chairs... with restaurants, bars, and beach bars, showers, changing rooms, and toilets... The only downside is the parking. Although there are plenty of spaces and areas dedicated to parking, the number of visitors exceeds the spots.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, easy to park.
Fantastic experience: One of the best surf beaches in Galicia
Fantastic experience: Great surf beach, chiringuito and surf house on the beach
Fantastic experience: Very good surfing beach, from my limited experience I wouldn't recommend for beginners as there are strong rips and 2 sandbars, making it difficult to catch any whitewater. Theres a fairly long paddle out, but the surf is pretty stellar for people with more experience.
Positive experience: The surfers enjoys thisnspot
Fantastic experience: This beach really good for surfing. The water is cold but you can get used it specially on a hot day. It doesn't get too crowded during the month of August.
Fantastic experience: Kind a got stuck here <3 super friendly people around there and nice waves. Tranqui baby! #puravida ☺️
Fantastic experience: A place to enjoy the sight and sound of the rolling sea and feel happy to be alive.
