Fantastic experience: ATTENTION: there is a tide. The water is sometimes further away. It is a very special arch-shaped beach. There are large waves of 2/3 meters. The water is about 20 degrees Celsius. The beach is quite large and there are many people. There are two showers. The nearest parking is paid (5€).

Fantastic experience: Ideal beach for being with small children. Mouth of the Poo estuary to the sea. You have to walk a lot for it to start covering you. You also have to keep in mind that it changes a lot from high tide to low tide. I advise going at high tide.

Positive experience: Small beach and it gets crowded, so there is hardly any space to lay down a towel. It's like a pool; you can go into the water until you're tired without it covering you. There is a lifeguard service, and dogs are not allowed.

Fantastic experience: Our first time this Sunday and it was spectacular. The warm water was something else. At first, we were scared because we couldn't see water anywhere. But then around 14:15 the tide started coming in and we actually had to move twice. Spectacular, great for family, amazing. We will repeat.

Fantastic experience: A beach that makes you want to have a family so Grandma can walk around on the flat beach, your youngest son can safely play in the shallow waters, and aunt Becky can go to the bar. Personally I liked the little hike up to get a great vantage point of the Beach. Oh yeah, and did I mention the joy of Siri directing us to the beach, saying, 'in 200 meters turn right on Poo.' What a funny name!

Positive experience: It's very beautiful, but we went on the first weekend of August after lunch, and it was crowded with many children. If you're looking for tranquility during high season, look for another beach.

Negative experience: THIEVES. They fine you €200 for parking on a road full of cars that serves as access to the beach with poor signage. They take advantage of fining at the time when people normally leave the beach in an area with barely any signage. I don't plan to buy even a bottle of water in Llanes, there are a thousand better places to go where you don't feel cheated.

Negative experience: Beware of fines. The town hall of Llanes fines you everywhere, dirt paths to go to the beaches, etc. It's incredible, I visited for 1 day and I received three fines of €200 each.

Fantastic experience: Very spacious, it's wonderful for walking or playing. You can stroll, the tide is generally low and very comfortable for being with children.

Negative experience: I couldn't even see it, like almost everything in Asturias there is nowhere to park.

Fantastic experience: It's a really cool beach where the water is a bit cold but it's worth it. The water is totally crystal clear. There is also a walkway to see the beach from above, where I took the attached photo. The only downside is that when it's hot, it gets crowded.

Fantastic experience: This beach is amazing. Beautiful water and the water was very calm, very soft sand. We came here by foot from Celorio, it took us about 1 hour. We saw a small parking lot next to the beach.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, we were expecting it to be smaller, it was a real discovery and we decided to take a walk that led us to a viewpoint on the cliff, fine sand without rocks.

Fantastic experience: Magnificent Caribbean-style beach surrounded by mountains and green, great for children due to its calm waters, especially during high tide. It's advisable to go on foot, especially outside of the season, as parking is very difficult.

Positive experience: It is a nice and quiet family beach, we had a picnic in the company of several seagulls. It was very fun.

Fantastic experience: September 29. Amazing cove! Super calm and crystal clear waters. Highly recommended for those who love paddle surfing! The tide needs to be low for there to be sand, around 5:00 PM there was almost none left.

Fantastic experience: Rocky beach with fine sand in Póo de Llanes. If there is a no parking sign on both sides and you park and get fined... SURPRISE. You couldn't know. There are fields enabled as paid parking to avoid fines. Because banging the car on the edge of the road, hindering traffic, doesn't really make much sense. At high tide, it looks like a lake surrounded by vegetation; there is little space to settle and if there are spring tides, even less. At low tide, there are many days with waves. Dogs are not allowed during bathing season.

Fantastic experience: My favorite beach in northern Spain. It's incredible to see it at low tide, but even more incredible to see it at high tide. It's a lagoon of saltwater. Spectacular.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach between cliffs with a double inner beach. One of my favorites, perfect to visit after lunch, having first visited Gulpiyuri beach in the morning. For those who complain about the fines they received for not leaving their car in the parking lot because it was full or for leaving it wherever they want... no matter how much they believe they are not bothering or that 'others' did too, it is just as childish as saying that the teacher is picking on me. If your blessed audacity wants to park next to it, go to the pool with parking. The farthest you could leave the car, even in the center of the village, would be a 10-minute walk. If you want it next to a road where it is NOT allowed, and you get hit with a 200 euro fine, hold the armorer accountable, I feel zero pity. For the ignorant who don’t know what a tide is and say that there is no water at 12, they should wait, as after low tide, the water rises again. They should hold the moon accountable, and find an ocean where it doesn’t happen. It’s just like those who say there are seaweeds. Wow! What will be next? Trees on the mountain? They should go to Punta Cana, I'll have more space here and less crowding. There are people who aren’t fit to leave home or travel. Or who travel the world but the world doesn’t travel for them. If they have a mobile phone to come and spout nonsense, they have the phone to check the tide times of the beaches (but maybe they can’t manage that).

Positive experience: It is impressive how extensive it is and the difference between high and low tide is very noticeable, but the fact that it is all full of seaweed spoils the environment quite a bit, mainly due to the smell.

Fantastic experience: Natural pool where the sea is not visible. Great beach. Little sand and little parking. A gentleman has set up a parking lot for €5. The police pass by from time to time, be careful with fines.

Positive experience: Ideal beach for children. But the tide must align at the right time to fully enjoy it. The estuary, which should be a magical place, is an area of unpleasant smells and mud, and it makes one think about the water quality at the beach...

Tip: when the tide is at its highest, there isn't much sand to stay on, so it's better to go when the tide is going down to enjoy the beach and the sand and play ball or paddle with the little ones...

Negative experience: Average. Many people occupy the available space when the tide rises. When it's low, if you want to walk towards the mouth of the river, the stench in that muddy area is unbearable and the ground is dark. There are better options in Llanes.

Fantastic experience: Beach to enjoy with children, observe the tides and enjoy the natural pools left by the cove. We arrived at 1 PM and it wasn't until 6:30 PM that it covered part of the nearby sandy area, but you can still take a swim by walking. The private parking costs 5 euros for the whole day. There is a restaurant that also serves coffee to go. Ideal for spending the day with kids who have a great time, clear water and schools of fish, although you have to keep in mind the cost of parking.

Fantastic experience: Incredible beach, recommended for children. Once the tide goes out, it can be deceptive and leaves a lot of ground uncovered, but when it comes back in, it creates a kind of pool covering the entire wet area of the zone.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach in the heart of nature, it is small and secluded. It has little wave action and shallow waters, making it perfect for swimming and spending a morning or an afternoon enjoying this wonder and relaxing. Among the ones I have visited, it seems to be one of the prettiest beaches in Asturias. There are two restaurants at this beach. Access is easy as you can drive to the private parking lot they have, which costs 5 euros for the whole day, regardless of how long you stay because it is a flat fee. Personally, I find it excessive, so I recommend leaving the car in the village since you only have to walk 10 minutes to the beach and it's a fantastic walk.

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful and safe beach one of many along the spanish north coast, our grandchildren loved swimming here and spent time chasing shoals of fish right on the beach. Visited in August, plenty of parking nearby very reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Great little beach. Went at the end of July expecting it to be crowded but there was plenty of space. When the tide is out there's a big expanse of wet sand that is great for very young children.
