Fantastic experience: If you go early, it is possible to find a spot. We went to the children's area near the rocks, but generally, the beach is very spacious. There is space for everyone. The bad thing is wanting to get something to drink at the bars and beach huts, during peak hours it's impossible.

Fantastic experience: Big and wide beach, a lot of sandy area even with high tide. Next to the beach, there is a whole wooden promenade and an area of trees with picnic tables. The parking area is not very large, so it's advisable to arrive early. There is also a bar in the parking area.

Fantastic experience: Rodiles Beach, in Villaviciosa, is a spectacular and very popular spot in the Principality of Asturias, especially if you want to enjoy a beach day with children. With over a kilometer in length and 300 meters wide, it offers ample sandy areas and a large grove of pine and eucalyptus trees with picnic areas. Ideal for families, the beach has multiple services, such as showers, public restrooms, and lifeguards. Access is good, with parking available, also for persons with reduced mobility, and a wooden walkway that runs along the stream. It is known for its waves, perfect for surfing. A magnificent place to spend the day surrounded by nature.

Fantastic experience: Spacious, democratic, with the perfect waves for a dip, wooded area with tables for a nice picnic, huge parking, bar, restrooms… for me, it's just right for enjoying a good beach day.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular mountain beach with plenty of space and an eucalyptus area with picnic spots to spend time with dogs, as access to the beach is prohibited for them.

Positive experience: To have a blue flag, it leaves a lot to be desired. The showers at the beach are outdated. The bathrooms close at 7:30 and are very small for what this beach is. We need to learn a bit from those in the south..

Fantastic experience: It is a huge beach next to Villaviciosa. Very accessible, although there can be traffic jams on the access road in summer and at peak times. It has good parking areas. There are surf schools available as well as bars and dining options both in the east and west areas, in addition to picnic areas in the interior of the center and west. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: It has very good access. More bathrooms and showers are needed. It is very well prepared for wheelchairs. There is a Red Cross station. Very clean and well-maintained. Eucalyptus area with a picnic area. Plenty of shade. On critical days, it is a very crowded beach and parking is difficult. There is a paid parking option. There are many disabled parking spaces.

Fantastic experience: The best summer swim. Clean, crystal clear waters, fun waves, and an esplanade of eucalyptus with countless tables and benches to take your picnic.

Fantastic experience: La playa una pasada, el entorno muy bien cuidado, un paseo de madera que a mí parecer está recién puesto. Típica playa surfera con un arenal muy grande, muy buenos accesos y el parking es bastante grande

Positive experience: Nos ha gustado mucho ,tiene bastante extensión de arena y muchas olas .muy divertida para grandes y peques tiene bastante aparcamientos eso si si llegas pronto ya que aunque en la playa tiene bastante sitio y no se ve para nada agobiados con la gente. Tiene socorrista y con lancha y será casualidad pero paso dos veces por la playa un helicóptero de la guardia civil.

Fantastic experience: Una playa larga y ancha, para mucha gente, pero sin problemas para poner el tenderete. 4 puntos de servicio de socorristas. Uno de ellos hizo un rescate y lo vimos. Que buena gente. Servicio de duchas y para los pies. Servicios públicos ( un poco descuidados ), chiringuitos varios donde puedes comer o tomarte un piscolabis o un tente en pie. Gran apartamento para coches y autobuses. Zona de recreo con arboleda de eucaliptos ( creo ), mesas de madera para comer, pasarela para pasear por la ría. Buen sitio para pasar el día

Fantastic experience: Una playa muy hermosa con un bosque de eucaliptos y un merendero con muchas mesas. Tiene bastantes aparcamientos y reservados PMR, así como pasarelas de acceso a la playa.

Fantastic experience: Impresionante. Rodeada de "verde" por todos los lados. Amplia zona de arenal. Muy agradable recorrerla de punta a punta y también disfrutar de un buen baño.

Fantastic experience: Another beach of large dimensions with a beautiful grove around it. It is very quick to get there from the Nalón area via the new I de Bimenes road.

Fantastic experience: Rodiles is beautiful at any time of the year. Pleasant walk in the estuary area with cafes and restaurants open even in winter.

Positive experience: We were at this beach off-season, a sunny day indeed, but it was a bit chilly and we couldn't swim. The kids were able to play with the sand and build castles. I liked how close the parking is, which is large, and how well-kept and clean the beach was.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in the country. Parking, restaurants, a pine forest with picnic areas, great sand, waves, walks... the only downside is that they don't allow dogs at certain times.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of spaces, good size, with a charger for electric cars. But due to the popularity of the village, it is advisable to go before 11 or 12 in the morning; otherwise, it tends to get full on weekends and during the summer, and you have to park on the roadside. However, the parking itself is very good.

Fantastic experience: Incredible beach, with an area to have a drink and rent surf equipment. Additionally, there is a large grove with tables for eating.

Positive experience: This is a really nice beach. It's long, it's wide. There's plenty of space and only a few international visitors. It's a fun place, a safe place with lots of families. The beach itself is very nice, but also the woods backing the beach is a nice area for people who prefer some cool shade and some quiet. There is plenty of free parking all along the way, but keep in mind that in high season they still fill up fast! There's a bunch of restaurants to fill your hungry stomach. Also bathroom/shower facilities. And then the part we liked best: a nice boardwalk all along the beach. It goes on for miles. Dogs are also allowed on there. Perfect for folks who need some walks like us. Loved it.

Fantastic experience: It's a great beach. It has a very large picnic area, with natural shade from trees, several bars where you can buy drinks or something basic to eat. It also has a campsite, and it's the beginning of a beautiful coastal path. For me, it's one of those places where I completely disconnect and recharge my batteries on tough days. Totally recommendable.

Negative experience: Human ant hill. When I was there, I couldn't even park my car. It's not what I'm looking for in a vacation. Thankfully, Asturias is more than just beaches.

Fantastic experience: Very clean with little depth, calm for going with family, a good picnic area.

Fantastic experience: Very well maintained, very clean, although not everyone respects things. Most of the tables need a bit of repair, just like the wooden path that goes to Misiego. The bars in the area have prices like those on Uría street in Oviedo.

Negative experience: They had an area for motorhomes to stay overnight, but now they don't allow it anymore, which is a shame because we used to come every year to spend a few days and dine in the area. We will change our destination. Town halls should catch up by enabling motorhome areas, as other town halls in eastern Asturias have done and as is common all over Europe.

Fantastic experience: A very spacious, clean beach, easy access and a very nice atmosphere. A place to spend the afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful family-friendly beach. There is a parking area right next to it. Before reaching the beach, there is a path area surrounded by trees where you can have a picnic with wooden tables and benches. Once at the beach, there is a shower to wash off the sand. The beach is beautiful, super wide, and not overcrowded in August (compared to the Levantine beaches). Crystal clear water and fine sand. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: As a beach, everything is perfect, due to its size and the nearby greenery with tables for eating. As a suggestion for improvement, I would ask for more areas with restrooms because, as I mentioned before, this beach is quite large.

Fantastic experience: This beach is in Villaviciosa, it is very large with fine sand and has a wooden boardwalk area for walking from end to end. There is also a pine area with picnic-style tables. It has a quite large parking lot. Next to it, there is a pretty cool beach bar where you can have a drink and also eat or have a snack. On the other side, there are also restaurants; it is very complete no matter where you are. We like it a lot.

Positive experience: My favourite beach in Asturias. Would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for the horrendous crowds on sunny days in July and August.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach! Very big; not crowded at all; beautiful scenery and surroundings; free and abundant parking, as well as many amenities including bathrooms; a first aid centre; an ice cream/cold drink stand; and a restaurant/cafe. The drive down to the beach it's also lovely and scenic.
