Positive experience: Mythical beach from the year 1966, a 'chiringuito' overlooks the beach. In the background, the pine forest has been destroyed by 'concrete'!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Lovely smaller beach. Accessible for buggies and a bonus park to play on, on the way down. Holidaying with a nearly 2 year old all of the parks around Salou have been brilliant. Can be windy. We visited several times during our stay and it was much windier than beaches just around the corner.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach! The only thing that I can complain about is the hill to get down to it. It's fine going down but going up, it's tough. Especially if you have elderly people with you. Other than this it's absolutely gorgeous! Not so big so not many people use it and the view is lovely

Negative experience: Mediocre beach. Lots of stones. Small and crowded. The only good thing is the surroundings. Uncomfortable to get there, the blue zone is very expensive. A huge cost for the little reward of this beach. La Pineda or Cala Crancs are way better.

Fantastic experience: A spectacular place right by the beach, with sea views, a 10 out of 10 meal, great service and speed. They also have good cocktails, and the waiters are very attentive and quick, a 10 for them as well. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Does not even deserve one star, service 1 star, all noise, service, parking, food, maintenance.

Fantastic experience: Calm, there is a pleasant walk along the Camí de Ronda. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach but a lot of hills

Fantastic experience: We have been there during the high season (first week of August) and found it to be simply a PERFECT beach. Regarding the crowd, it had people, but it was by no means overcrowded. The sand was good, without dirt. The water was incredibly clean, completely transparent and crystal clear, and with an ideal temperature to refresh and enjoy swimming. In addition, you need to go well inside for it to cover. In summary, an absolute enjoyment of the beach, superior in quality to Cala Llenguadets and Capellans that are nearby, even though these two are also good options.

Fantastic experience: We are here for the second time in two years (usually we don't return to the same places) and this is definitely our most beautiful beach we have been to. Ideal for children. Gentle slope to the sea, shallow for a long distance, close to bars and shops. We recommend.

Positive experience: The beach itself is 5 stars. But to get to it, there is quite a decline, which is ok going down, but a bit of a trek back in 33 heat. But it is still our favourite. 2 sun loungers with umbrella 25 euros. The waves are awesome. There is also a lovely bar/cafe to get refreshments.

Fantastic experience: One of the smaller beaches in the town of Salou. As on the entire coast, beautiful sand, warm water. The beach is accessible to everyone, free of charge. Of course, you can rent sunbeds or umbrellas. But why bother :)?. There is a bar on site that has a full range of drinks and snacks on offer, with moderate prices. Drinks €1.5-2. Snacks €5-12. Totally a different vibe than the big city beach.

Fantastic experience: A truly magnificent beach, one of the most beautiful we have had the opportunity to visit in Spain. Clean, spacious, clear water, fine sand, sunbeds for rent at €25 for two for the day + umbrella. Tap for rinsing feet, paid parking on the street. A restaurant nearby but we did not eat there. Large forest nearby. There is a small rocky cove at the very end that is also nice.

Fantastic experience: A well-maintained little box and a very beautiful environment, although there are some stairs, but it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely beach! Small coves with sand and rock that have steps. Then further along a long strip of sand that is wheelchair accessible.

Negative experience: I went the first week of June, it was dirty, disgusting, sticks all along the shore, it took them 2 days to remove the sticks, in the 5 days I was there, they didn't clean the sand any day.... I imagine they wait for more people to come, but it was very, very dirty and neglected.

Positive experience: A good safe swimming beach, which is lifeguard attended in season. W/C and a small bar at the back of the beach. Sunbeds and parasols for hire if you're into that sort of thing (June onwards). Quieter than the llevant and ponent beaches of salou, and picturesque from afar- I've a concern for litter in high season even though plenty bins provided.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen, because at Salou beach the sun is so enthusiastic that even the umbrellas want some shade. Also, remember to try the local delights at the beach bars, where Mediterranean flavors will embrace you like an old friend. And of course, don't hesitate to join a beach volleyball match to feel the sand between your fingers and the laughter under the sun. Fantastic experience: Long and wide promenade in Cap Salou. It includes sandy beaches, pedestrian and cycling paths with beautiful sea views. There is also a sports area, a children's playground, and a beach bar. You can take a walk in the evening, do a morning run, or simply enjoy the walk to the beach during the day. Unexpected residents can also be found here - locusts in the bushes, fireflies in the rocks, beautiful varieties of wildflowers, and a whole group of kittens fed by vacationers.
