Positive experience: The beach is quite small and can get crowded on certain days. There is parking nearby if you're lucky, an area for people with reduced mobility, surveillance, and services. The water is clear, and you might see a fish or two. The water was a bit cold.

Positive experience: Small urban beach in Tarifa, sheltered from the winds and waves by the pier's breakwater and the island of Palomas. Cold and clear waters and rocks covered in slime that create puddles in the sand for the enjoyment of the little ones. Very local and family-friendly, and free of surfers.
Positive experience: Small cove, with services, located on the left side of the promenade that leads to the island. Clear waters but with an easterly wind... you bathe in the Mediterranean and after the promenade, you bathe in the Atlantic.
Positive experience: Good views of the strait. A lot of easterly wind, you need to protect yourself from the sand.

Positive experience: Very windy and good for surfers. Since we are only bathers, it was too windy for us, but a well-established area.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches to watch the sunset and practice kitesurf, or just jump into the water

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches to watch the sunset and practice kitesurf, or just jump into the water
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach of Tarifa, really chill and good for kite surfers
Fantastic experience: We were very lucky to be able to watch some of the best kite surfers training. It was magnificent!
Fantastic experience: We were here during a major wind storm Feb 2023 and all Ferries were cancelled. 3 unexpected days spent here and we checked it all out. The beaches are huge and Tarifa is sooooo walkable. A great time watching kite surfers and wind surfers. 2 castles to see, many wonderful places to eat and shop. Prices are a smidge higher due to all the ferry traffic.
Positive experience: Wind and kite surfers paradise!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful small beach on the Mediterranean side of Tarifa mole. Very nice views, normally much calmer water, but can be pretty busy with people. Also very good spot for snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: Beach located at the breakwater that separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean Sea. Very cold and crystal-clear water. Ideal for snorkeling or paddle surfing. I recommend going early in high season, as there is not much parking and the beach, as its name indicates, is not very wide.

Fantastic experience: The southernmost point of southern Spain! Tarifa! A wonderful place where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coexist! Words can't express it. Before going to Ronda from Seville, I wondered when I would come back to Spain... I definitely had to come here, and it's just amazing. The Atlantic Ocean is rough while the Mediterranean Sea is calm~ In the distance, you can see North Africa, Morocco ^^ Tarifa! A fascinating and beautiful place.
Positive experience: Good for swimming, cold water, always a lot of people lately, I swim all year round, the water is just as cold in winter as in summer.
Fantastic experience: Crystal clear water and sheltered from the strong west wind, but small; you have to go early.
Negative experience: Great beach and clear water, but very dirty with cigarette butts and from the people who go there, they don't take care of it, they still haven't understood that it is a natural environment and should not be polluted.
Fantastic experience: Great place.
Positive experience: A very beautiful place, the Atlantic beach needs a Mediterranean one.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach facing the Atlantic
Positive experience: A small square or rather two beaches, one by the Mediterranean Sea and the other next to the Atlantic Ocean. There are often very strong winds that carry sand from the beach.
Fantastic experience: When it's a bit windy, you can stay there, plus it has a kiosk with drinks, snacks,.....❤️

Fantastic experience: A beautiful place. Thanks to the weather in February, the whole beach is empty. The Atlantic is within reach.
Fantastic experience: Small beach in the center of Tarifa, it's normally crowded because it's very small, except in winter.
Positive experience: Long lovely beach. A paradise for surfers.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, meeting point between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
Fantastic experience: You can see Morocco and the Strait of Gibraltar, and the photos turn out great. The sky is clear.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, the water is clear.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, but I liked Los Lances beach more.
Positive experience: City beach, free of charge, there are freshwater supplies, benches, nearby a bar. The sand is amazing, very light and fine. It's cool that you can symbolically swim in the Atlantic Ocean, and after crossing the causeway in the Mediterranean Sea.
Fantastic experience: The best of Tarifa
Fantastic experience: It is usually difficult to find parking, but it is worth the effort because it is a true WONDER. Its waters are often cold but they leave you 'renewed', you revive and personally I prefer them to warm waters. On days with a west wind, it is perfect if you don’t like the waves as long as it doesn’t blow fiercely. Don't miss going and enjoying our/your Playa Chica. If you look straight ahead, there is the 'mini beach', you just have to walk along the little road that leads to the Island and turn to your left, you will love it. Cheers !!
Fantastic experience: Super beautiful place and close to the old town of Tarifa.
Fantastic experience: Very nice place.
Fantastic experience: You definitely should go, just keep in mind that it can be a bit too windy.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful but a bit quiet on Sunday at the beginning of November.
Positive experience: Suggestive place. Meeting of the two seas.
Fantastic experience: A small beach and clear water.
Positive experience: Beach with extraordinary view
Fantastic experience: The southernmost point of Europe. Here the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet. Great sunset.
Positive experience: Small east-facing beach, calm and clear water but cold. Very little parking nearby.
Fantastic experience: What beautiful views for a sunset
Positive experience: Small cove, with services, located on the left side of the promenade that leads to the island. Clear waters but with an easterly wind... you bathe in the Mediterranean and after the promenade, you bathe in the Atlantic.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, especially for swimmers.
Fantastic experience: White sand, small waves
Positive experience: Ideal spot for surfers
Fantastic experience: We were very lucky to be able to watch some of the best kite surfers training. It was magnificent!
Positive experience: Beautiful beach in a beautiful setting, the union between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Fantastic experience: A tiny little beach, super clean and the last beach of the Mediterranean. On windy days, it's crazy how quickly dunes form.
Fantastic experience: If there's an east wind and you want to take a bath...
Positive experience: Small beach, in October, full of local people, which is fine!!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful small beach on the Mediterranean side of Tarifa mole. Very nice views, normally much calmer water, but can be pretty busy with people. Also very good spot for snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: A small and beautiful beach - like a true Andalusian girl! It has services, a shower, and is quite protected from the winds. There is a beach bar very close. Bars, restaurants all around. Mediterranean and Atlantic within reach - what more?
Fantastic experience: Stunning sea. In June it was very peaceful, not many people on the beach. You can see Morocco in the distance.
Fantastic experience: Very clean
Positive experience: In the off-season, you have the sea, the beach, and the restroom. That's good enough.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach in the south of Spain where you can see the coast of Morocco.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach with an extraordinary view. A must-see, too bad the southernmost point of continental Europe was closed.
Positive experience: Very small beach. It is mostly clean. The sand is a mixture of very small pebbles and shells. The water is very clear and on the cold side like all beaches in this area. People with sensitive feet should go prepared to get in the water with water shoes because the pebbles are predominant. The navigation channel is in front of this beach. You can see the ferries that come and go from Tarifa to and from Tanger. Parking is complicated. There is parking, but the place is busy. The sunsets are very beautiful from this Southmost point of continental Spain.
Fantastic experience: Extraordinary beach, all of Tarifa in one.
Fantastic experience: I am in love with the view of the Strait of Gibraltar!!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. A site that must be visited.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach in Tarifa. You can swim in the Mediterranean.
Positive experience: Small but very beautiful beach with crystal clear water.
