Positive experience: Lively and clean dike. Very beautiful massive beach and once again it's a great pity not to reserve a small part for people with pets. Very nice I understand but we won't be going back.

Positive experience: I would rate the area a 3 and a half. I find the mega construction that is being done in this autonomous community, without naming specific places, absolutely disproportionate. It is an area of great beauty that is being devastated by this way of building mega buildings. Sustainable tourism is something that concerns all of us, especially politicians who should not only look after their own pockets. I must say that the village, the rock, beaches, coves, as well as the natural salt flats, are very beautiful. Let's take care of them.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. From the train station, take less than €10 in cash because the bus won't take you.. it's a 20 to 25-minute walk.. for the return, it's better to take the bus.

Fantastic experience: Regarding Calpe, there is a rule of 'three C's': colorful, beautiful, bright. Here, the splendor of colors and flavors is keenly felt! I recommend visiting for those who love shopping (jewelry included). In the local shops, you can find many interesting items; the selection will please you. If you love seafood, you'll want to be closer to the port. They will prepare what you choose yourself. Freshest, tastiest: oysters with local cava, octopus, and calamari rings… A truly colorful sight - flamingos, there is a huge population of them in the lake right in the city center) They also love Calpe!

Positive experience: Beautiful city but poorly maintained in many places, especially the rocky areas are used as a garbage dump. You can smell urine in many places and there are too many dog droppings. Other than that, there are very nice shops and cafes and plenty of good restaurants.

Fantastic experience: Calpe is a small charming seaside town. Family-friendly, sporty, and very welcoming. Several hotels, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets make this charming place a location where you find everything and don’t want to leave. From the Kitesurfing beach to the beach bars at the foot of the rock, you can practice diving, sports, and take two walks with the port in the middle. Traditional port with a fish market and typical seafood restaurants. Multiple activities for everyone, and going out at night is wonderful, with bars, restaurants, and musical bars on the walks of La Fosa with El Camaleón, a nightclub with good music and an excellent atmosphere.

Negative experience: Despite being very beautiful, I give it 2 stars because I find it disgraceful that dogs do not have pieces of grass to do their business. There is a park, but it's not normal that there is only one and it is (in our case, more than 45 min from the hotel). The city would be prettier and cleaner. The promenade is shameful because of how dirty it is. On the other hand, I understand that it's prohibited for them to enter the beach, but if the weather is nice, not when it's empty and the only thing there is human trash. And what to say about allowing fishing right on the beach and that my dog can't roll around and play in the sand at 8 in the morning when she doesn't bother anyone. These are incomprehensible things.....

Negative experience: Personally, I don't like the place at all, too built-up, and there's nothing left of the Spanish flair. The only thing worth seeing is a natural salt lake in the midst of many high rises, where flamingos stay year-round. I was here in February and only felt comfortable looking towards the sea.

Positive experience: Beautiful little Spanish village by the sea. The old town is magnificent with picturesque corners. Unfortunately, in January many restaurants and shops are closed, no big chains, ideal for resting! 4 different beaches and a nice walk on the breakwater, Piñón de Ifach, a magnificent rock at the end of the cove, Torre de Pesca in the old town next to the old church that overlooks the town. The procession of the Magi on January 5 was ridiculous compared to that of Benidorm and Alicante!

Positive experience: It is a tourist complex that has overflowed in its time, and it continues to build in a development that is not very sensitive to urban respect. There are good restaurants in the area and the atmosphere is calm in winter and spring, more turbulent in summer. They need to improve the cleanliness of the streets, take measures to combat nighttime noise, improve the salt flats, which is full of birds. The Ifach rock also deserves a cleaning. The beach is well-maintained but a campaign to clean up cigarette butts and small plastic would not go amiss. Come on, it can be done.

Positive experience: Very nice little town. Unfortunately, there's a lot of dirt next to the streets and paths. Many old high-rise buildings along the promenade are in need of renovation. Little beach, but very good restaurants. The people here are very friendly and helpful.
