Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with clean water, Perfect for families and kids, Calm waters, plenty of fun for kids, many playgrounds all over the place, Many restaurants just across the street, Toilets in the footpath, Very safe about security with police all the time walking by foot, bike and cars in the beach. Many kiosks as well in the sand, most of them are renting sun beds and parasol. Very cold pints in the kiosks, sandwiches and pizza and many other things you can get direct on the sand by those kiosks. If you want proper food and seating across the main street you have a huge choice of restaurants very close… Prices on the beach are a little bit more than the restaurants, but if you want to be comfortable in the sun bed the prices aren’t going to kill you either… You can rent those pedal boats as well it’s good to go a little bit over the waves crest and enjoy the beautiful skyline of the Salou coast… I highly recommend this beach, it is excellent and just a few steps from everything happening in the town. Just a few meters from all the big hotels in Salou. If you come from a little bit far away from the city center there’s free parking at the beach between the Main Street in front of the McDonald's restaurant and the beach.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. Accessible and free toilet, outdoor shower available
Fantastic experience: Nature and man's hand in harmony. Well-kept place, waters with a mild temperature. Along the avenue, plenty of local commerce and a wide choice of restaurants for all budgets. On the beach, the sand is clean and soft although compact, accompanied by a calm sea. Between them, there is paid parking, gardens, and green areas filled with palm trees.
Positive experience: Very central beach, with an adjoining promenade and a lot, but a lot of people moving around. The beach was somewhat dirty probably because it had rained in the morning. There is a paid parking lot that seemed a bit expensive to me (8 euros for approximately 5 hours). It has showers, restrooms, and lifeguards. When we went, it was quite crowded but it was Saturday. It has beach bars and many places to eat nearby when crossing the street. We found it to be average.
Positive experience: A very beautiful beach promenade that unfortunately, and for this reason there is one point deducted, had all the fountains turned off. (Water shortage?) It is still very nicely designed, very clean, and offers many photo spots. Especially in the evening hours during twilight. The historic mansions in the front row complete the overall picture excellently.

The area has a great vacation vibe, even on weekdays, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that feels perfect for a day getaway. It’s a place where you can easily spend a whole day enjoying the sun, sea, and laid-back energy.
Positive experience: Nice sandy beach that is a little less busy but still has beach cafés to enjoy.
Fantastic experience: Very large fine sand, too many people, especially on weekends.
Fantastic experience: Beach bar, beer, sand and sea

Positive experience: Immense beach, clean and offering various games for children along its promenade.
Positive experience: Spiaggia carina, con diversi ciringuiti con tende piuttosto che divanetti direttamente in spiaggia sul mare. Mancanza di monopattini a noleggio tipo Lime o altre compagnie :/ peccato

Positive experience: Nice sandy beach that is a little less busy but still has beach cafés to enjoy.
Fantastic experience: Super vacation trip
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach in the Tarragona area. Seasonal hotels and retirement location for pan-European travellers.
Fantastic experience: Great beach
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. Accessible and free toilet, outdoor shower available
Positive experience: A beautiful beach, you would think you were on a Mexican beach!
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach. No rocks.
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach, very clean, every evening a special tractor cleans the beach. There are always a lot of people, but thanks to the fact that the beach is very long and wide, there is always enough space. After lunch, a red flag is often raised due to the waves (swimming is not allowed).
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach. Clean. The bar is well equipped, and there are plenty of establishments along the nearby promenade. Toilets and showers are free.
Fantastic experience: Very large fine sand, too many people, especially on weekends.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and peaceful
Fantastic experience: Lovely beach plenty of bars to get a drink. Rent a sunbed and umbrella for 20 euros.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. In the morning, the sea is relatively calm. In the afternoon, there are waves. The sand is nice, and there is a bar and shower on the beach, which is very convenient. Also, if you buy a sunbed for 1 day (price: 10€), you will get a free beer at the bar. The beer is good. The only downside is that on Sunday and Monday, the water was dirty for some reason. It was unpleasant. But on the other days of the week, it was clean.
Fantastic experience: The beach is very beautiful
Positive experience: Unmatched beach with many services and very well maintained
Fantastic experience: A central beach, very crowded in August but with a lot of security and shops.
Fantastic experience: Ideal beach to go with kids. Very calm, not too cold, with services. During peak season there are many people, but that’s normal. I love it.
Fantastic experience: As the Spanish say: very good! All the views from this beach and on the beach are... Mmmmmmm
Fantastic experience: Great beach in BCN
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, I liked it a lot
Positive experience: Calm and crystal-clear waters, very good temperature in summer, ideal for families although it is very crowded.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Positive experience: Very clean and the sea is too.
Fantastic experience: Despite being very crowded, it is central, rich in services, and clean.
Fantastic experience: Great place, I sincerely recommend it, many activities.
Fantastic experience: Good beach! The sea is clean! There were fewer people closer to the boat rental! There are children's slides! The sunsets are insane!! July-August 2024
Positive experience: Many seaweeds
Fantastic experience: Beach bar, beer, sand and sea
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach. Good atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: It is the best place to spend a pleasant night in summer.
Positive experience: I love this beach!!! The kids can walk quite far and enjoy it more.
Positive experience: The beaches are clean but without shells, there aren't many waves, very good for children
Positive experience: The beach is nice, it has many services. The bad thing is that it is a very crowded beach, especially in the months of July and August. If we add to this the fact that the town hall allocates a lot of space to paid areas like sunbeds, this makes the beach even more crowded. It is a practical beach because it is the most central in the town, but it is definitely not the best.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, beautiful promenade. Great music at the beach bar.
Positive experience: If you take a sunbed it’s a bit expensive but you can leave your things there in complete peace, the setting is very pretty.
Negative experience: Very dirty beach, trash cans on the beach, foul smells, no maintenance of the sand, dead birds in the water... Never seen anything like this in almost 30 years. What is the town hall doing compared to other towns like La Pineda... Since the arrivals for the Saint John's festival, there has been some improvement in cleanliness, but there is still a lot to be done...
Positive experience: Typical beach with a couple of bars
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, similar to a cove, clean and with all the amenities.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach .....
Fantastic experience: Lovely beautiful beach with adjacent shops.
Fantastic experience: Very good beach
Positive experience: Good beach and long!!
Positive experience: The beach is clean and well maintained with all the services. But at the time I was there, in early May, there were too many waves and currents.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, full of amenities nearby.
Fantastic experience: Good.
Positive experience: The facilities set up along the promenade are very good and well organized. The beaches are quite clean despite the rude individuals who smoke and throw their cigarette butts on the sand. I believe that smoking in common areas should be prohibited.
Fantastic experience: Perfect beach for morning walks with all the light that the Mediterranean Sea gives us.
Fantastic experience: A quiet place in winter to take a walk
Positive experience: Immense beach, clean and offering various games for children along its promenade.
Positive experience: Very nice beach, pleasant in the off-season. Well maintained all year round.
Fantastic experience: Lovely beach
Fantastic experience: Clean beach, many playgrounds for children.
Fantastic experience: Lots of seaweed, but the beach is beautiful.
Positive experience: Lovely beach, clean, neat, and wonderful sunbeds
Fantastic experience: What a beautiful part of the Spanish coastline! The grandchildren loved it as did my daughter. Myself, I inhaled the beauty.
Fantastic experience: Perfect for a vacation, well maintained
Positive experience: Nice walkways near the sea with a lot of restaurants during the season.
Fantastic experience: Great beach with beach bar near by. Sunbeds and parasols for hire. Toilets nearby too.
Fantastic experience: Very long beach with plenty of space for towels and umbrellas... It has showers and bathrooms. A walkway is also very well decorated with parks and fountains along its route. There is a parking lot on the beach that is free starting in October. There are beach bars along the beach and lifeguard services as well as a first aid station. The bus stop is also located on the same walkway by the beach. Extremely crowded during the summer months.
Positive experience: A wide beach close to the hotel zone with a promenade that can be walked from one end to the other, where at the end is the entire restaurant area and a final breakwater. It's a nice walk. The beach is not very deep. There are no stones at the entrance of the sea. The sea is usually rough but it's a wave that allows you to swim. There is ample parking in the area and it seems that from October 10th, the blue zone parking fees cease. Another point to highlight is that the showers have water, which has been restricted in most beaches of Catalonia.
Fantastic experience: Excellent
Fantastic experience: Rust, enjoy...
Fantastic experience: Beautiful sandy beach, easily accessible with good sunbed service. The guys are very friendly and helpful.
Positive experience: Very clean
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. Clean and tidy.
Fantastic experience: Clean and clear, all services perfect, real-time information about the beach, for a perfect enjoyment.
Fantastic experience: Extensive beach with fine and clean sand
Fantastic experience: Big beach, fine sand, a place with hammocks or towels to choose from, beach bars at every step, across the street there are all kinds of shops and restaurants. Very good value for money.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, clean and the little guys and staff are very friendly. Thanks for looking after us
Fantastic experience: Beach is nice and clean.
