Negative experience: The walk from Altafulla to the Tamarit castle should have a path instead of having to walk on the sand of the beach.
Negative experience: Well, the truth is that after going to Playa Larga, La Pineda, and Salou, we wanted to go somewhere quiet and they told us that it was an old fishing village and so on... we had a hard time finding parking (I'm assuming that's the case at this time of year) but what I can't get past is that in the very roundabouts of the village there are independence flags, I'm sorry but that goes against tourism and you are doing immense damage to yourselves by politicizing a tourist area.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach day, plenty of free parking, family-friendly beach with few tourists.

Negative experience: We went, as every year, all of June. The beach was terrible. Very neglected and the access points were impractical. People had to jump over the rocks with a real risk of falling. I do not know if they have fixed the area later.

Negative experience: Dogs are not allowed except during specific hours for walking and bathing, from April 1 to October 31.
Negative experience: A big disappointment, next time I consider going somewhere else. You come on vacation and have to keep your dog locked inside the motorhome. Poorly maintained beach and only for humans, don't come to this place; animals are not welcome on the beach in Tamarit. The town hall officials prohibit it and fine you €120 if they see you walking with your pet on the beach, no matter if it's leashed and if you're clean and don't let it get close to the water. Long live animal law. The place is nice, but if you have pets, discard it completely. A great shame. Luckily they still have tourists, and the campsites accept pets, although they always have to be leashed. You can walk your dog around the campsite or the roadside as long as it's leashed, but on the beach, don’t even think about it, or you risk a fine. There is a need to improve specific areas, like more well-maintained tourist spots where you can go with your pet and let them be free. Nice place, but visit if you don't have a pet.

Positive experience: Buena playa, al inicio de entrar al mar hay piedras pequeñas pero una vez dentro es de arena, el día que hemos estado había oleaje con bandera verde pero el agua estaba bastante revuelta. Lo mejor de esta playa son las dos pistas de voley, siempre están llenas de gente. También hay escuela de vela y alquiler de patinetes aquaticos. Playa con mucha juventud y familiar. No están permitidos los perros
Positive experience: Playa de tamaño medio no muy masificada (principios de septiembre), muy limpia, con aseos públicos, perros prohibidos y bastantes socorristas. Paseo muy bonito hasta Tamarit por la playa. El paseo marítimo tiene un gran número de restaurantes con vistas, pocas opciones vegetarianas, aunque a escasos metros si que se pueden encontrar restaurantes con opciones vegetarianas y veganas.

Fantastic experience: An amazing beach, turquoise waters and clean sand.

I have been completely respected in my spot, my things, and I haven't experienced any theft. However, at other beaches, you find the usual people making rounds to steal or causing a commotion, it's a shame.

Positive experience: I went because I had been previously and it was a quiet beach with no people and clear waters. Now they have added sand, which means there are a lot of people and the water is brown. There are no beach bars nearby, dehydration is guaranteed if you don't bring water.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with promenade, showers and lifeguard. The promenade has a small selection of restaurants along it but also many terraced houses from which local residents emerge in the evening to chat or have supper at the front of their houses making it a lovely place to have a stroll in the evening. Review above was from 2019. We visited again in 2023 and think it’s still about right. If anything, a little busier than before in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Really good beach. I like to go snorkeling and this beach is special because among those nearby, it has the most beautiful views of the seabed, species, and more. Another thing I like is that I leave my towel and keys and take a couple of hours to come back, sometimes I have even left my backpack there. I have been completely respected in my spot, my things, and I haven't experienced any theft. Negative experience: The walk from Altafulla to the Tamarit castle should have a path instead of having to walk on the sand of the beach.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, large and with an environment that makes you remember how the fishing village used to be. Low houses and a wide promenade; if you want a castle, you have it up on the high part of the village. A quiet and pleasant place to have a drink by the sea or swim.

Fantastic experience: One of the few natural spaces that has existed for years in the area. I have been going for more than 20 years and the space between Torredembarra and Tamarit is one of the best beaches in the area.

Positive experience: I personally don't like it, the only advantage is that it is narrow, but there is a slope, and you don't have to walk much on the sand. Every winter with the storms it disappears and they fix it quickly.

Positive experience: Beach heavily battered by storms. However, humans will never learn that you cannot steal land from the sea without it fighting back. It has its charm.

Positive experience: Perhaps we were unlucky, we have been vacationing by this beach for 8 days, but the sea is always rough and because of that, there is a lot of garbage :( despite the fact that today is already October 25th, the water is quite warm, but it's impossible to swim because of the waves. Also, it is clear that no one cares about cleaning the garbage :(

Fantastic experience: There is a promenade where we enjoyed a Sunday afternoon. With high tide, the sea reaches the limit of the beach. Restored old fishermen's houses limit on the other side. There are several cafés with covered terraces where I've been told that even in winter they fill up with people to enjoy the spectacle of the sea... I loved it.

Fantastic experience: There are few places with the charm of Altafulla. Please, help to preserve it. Abstain from being hasty, stressed, uncivil, intolerant. It is an exclusive space for sensible, civic, respectful, and friendly people. (Isn't that asking too much?)
Positive experience: Fine sand beach where the water takes a while to cover, ideal for going with children. The water today was clean. We had tapas for lunch in one of its kiosks, very good as well. We had no problem parking nearby.
