The Cove - Higuera Cove
Information
La Caleta - Cala Higuera is a beautiful and tranquil cove that attracts visitors with its stunning views and crystal-clear waters. The cove is characterized by its rocky surface, making it essential to bring appropriate footwear, such as water shoes, for comfortable access. Users particularly appreciate the relaxing environment and the presence of a chiringuito nearby, where they can enjoy drinks and snacks.
However, some visitors have noted challenges regarding parking, as spaces can be limited, especially during peak season. The access to the cove involves a short walk, but once there, the rewards are worth it. The area is often praised for its cleanliness and scenic beauty, though it can become crowded on weekends.
Despite the difficulties with parking and the rocky beach, most agree that La Caleta - Cala Higuera is a hidden gem that is perfect for a day of relaxation, snorkeling, and enjoying nature.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, beach with services nearby. It's possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are also two bars/restaurants where you can refresh and eat something.
Positive experience: A beautiful cove, the only downside is the parking, there isn't any.
Positive experience: I would return, it's beautiful and there is a beach bar in case you don't want to carry too much, there is parking, a beach without sand, it's pebbly so you can go with water shoes.
Positive experience: Very beautiful cove but complicated, a lot of waves and difficult access for older people.
Positive experience: Idyllic place right on the beach with beautiful decor, we had some spectacular sardines accompanied by very cold beers, with the detail of having gluten-free beer since one member of the group is intolerant. In summary, a very positive experience, we will return... a tip: don't leave it until late in the morning or you will have parking problems.

Positive experience: Esun lugar tranquilito, aceptan mascotas, agradable estancia

Fantastic experience: Small cove with fairly easy access. There is usually parking a little over 100 meters from the beginning of the cove. It has medium and small stones and is usually quite well maintained. It has its own beach bar that is not bad, and in summer it obviously has some crowds, like any coastal place.
Negative experience: The small beach is very nice but the beach bar is run by a man who calls himself Francis, very rude to customers. My family and I arrived at nine in the evening, we just wanted to have a beer and dinner if possible. The waitress was super friendly, but this disgraceful guy came and said there is no dinner, that we should go somewhere else to eat because we are not having dinner here. The shameless guy responded like that. We continued having our beer, and he came back to tell the waitress not to expect that we would have dinner because we wouldn’t be eating here. We put down our beers and left to avoid further problems. I do not recommend going there at all; there are better places than that, plus it’s full of chickens and mess.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove We went there on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded. We didn’t find a free parking lot and we had to park our car far from the beach. We spent some time under the palm trees which was really relaxing. The view over the water and the cove is amazing. On this day there were some waves which made snorkelling not fun. You will find also a Chiringuito restaurant and toilets free of use.

Fantastic experience: Stone beach. Very clear. Super family-friendly.

Positive experience: Small beach but with fantastic rocks to climb and lie down to admire the sea
Fantastic experience: Nice little beach.
Positive experience: It's not too bad, but it's a beach that, if the hotel is open, it's only full with its clients plus the neighboring urbanization, which makes it more than crowded.

Positive experience: The beach is amazing! but the beach bar food is horrible, canned and frozen food and bad service. Don't eat there!
Fantastic experience: Semiprivate beach in a lovely cove, adjacent to an unspoiled natural reserve. Very quiet and peaceful, only visited by guests of hotel Montiboli and hotel Bluesense and by locals who know this hidden gem.
