Positive experience: Nice and quiet beach. Beware! No sand, only stones and pebbles. Water shoes are handy for the little ones. The beach was clean with a small bar. Many families and couples were paddleboarding on the water and snorkeling. The water was clean and clear. You can snorkel nicely there. However, we didn't see many fish or other sea creatures that day. We visited on a weekday morning (09:00-09:30) and it started to get a bit busier. Parking is fine if you arrive early, after that it's difficult to park as you have to park along the road and those spots are limited. Tip: come around 09:00 and you'll usually find a spot.
Positive experience: The beach is nice, you can park if you don't arrive very late, the only downside is that it is completely rocky both outside and inside the water, you need water shoes 100%.
Positive experience: Somewhat dirty, probably due to the number of small boats docked behind the buoys. It is stony and has no sand at all. There is parking for cars.
Positive experience: A cove-type beach with stones, very nice, small, with two beach bars, some bonfires, snorkeling. Easy access by car.
Positive experience: Small and quiet beach with difficult access. It is rocky. Parking is very complicated.

Fantastic experience: A pleasant surprise, gravel beach, with a beach bar by the shore and another one a little higher up, dogs are not allowed, it's a very cozy cove.
Positive experience: It's an awesome place and great beach with clear waters, but no sand. Plenty of food plcaes nearby.

Fantastic experience: A cove where you feel really comfortable, the cove is made of stones so it's advisable to buy some water shoes, there are two beach bars, it's advisable to book.
Positive experience: Somewhat dirty, probably due to the number of small boats docked behind the buoys. It is stony and has no sand at all. There is parking for cars.
Fantastic experience: Very calm beach with little swell, ideal for snorkeling. The shore is not sandy but the water is, it is very difficult to set up the umbrella.
Negative experience: So, there's no talk of a sandy beach. There are very large stones, around 10 to 20 cm in size. Lying down is impossible. I also don't find 13 euros for a sunbed and umbrella to be cheap. You can hardly enter the sea because you can barely walk on the slippery stones. So, this is not my beach.

Positive experience: Beach with pebbles, beautiful to see but without amenities, apart from a beach bar that was opening at 11:30...
Fantastic experience: It's a beautiful beach ????️, steep incline to it bit further along there's a small beach with a lovely chiringuito.
Fantastic experience: Small beach with two beach bars nearby in a great location
Positive experience: A clean beach with two extraordinary beach bars where you can have a drink, eat, and listen to good music. However, you won't be alone. It's very crowded with caravans and others.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, with bathrooms and a lifeguard. Also, we happened to go on a day when there were hardly any people.
Fantastic experience: Stone beach with gravel parking from which we can also access the Mascarat Canyon trail. The beach has two beach bars and provides sunbeds, restrooms, and a lifeguard during the high and medium/high season.
Imprescindible escarpines.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach. The day wasn't very good as the sea was a bit choppy and it was cloudy. Paddle surfing was difficult and there wasn't much visibility for snorkeling. We took the opportunity to remove plastics and cups from the water and sand. Please don't litter on the beach and pick up everything you see. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I love this beach, it's soo clean and lovely. This is a beach for everyone. There is one part for naturists and one half for people who are not natuists. I love it. There is also clean toilets and a cosy beach bar that plays nice music. It's amazing. I recommand too bring bathing shoes, because it hurts a little bit barefot because of rocks/stons. Diving mask and snorkel is a nice thing to bring, as it is a rich wildlife underwater. I have found three octopuses and fish in all the colors of the world on my visits. The underwater life itself is a heavenly experience.
Fantastic experience: Precioso lugar para hacer buceo alguna foto en pelotas

Positive experience: Realmente paramos para coger un Kayak. Desde ahí puedes hacer una ruta bonita costeando

Fantastic experience: One of the best natural sunrise images I have in my mind
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Just super!!!!!
Positive experience: Beach with pebbles, beautiful to see but without amenities, apart from a beach bar that was opening at 11:30...
Positive experience: Seen from the top
Fantastic experience: Chill stony beach, coffee close by.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful private bay where you can sunbathe and swim as a naturist.
Fantastic experience: Incredible its port and the tranquility of its summer.
Fantastic experience: It's a beautiful beach ????️, steep incline to it bit further along there's a small beach with a lovely chiringuito.
Positive experience: What a beautiful place to spend a pleasant time.
Fantastic experience: Nice new place. Well presented food and good service.

Positive experience: Beautiful pebble beach !!!! Not too crowded
Fantastic experience: Small beach with two beach bars nearby in a great location
Positive experience: A clean beach with two extraordinary beach bars where you can have a drink, eat, and listen to good music. However, you won't be alone. It's very crowded with caravans and others.

Fantastic experience: A super beautiful and quiet place to spend the day, I will definitely come back.
Fantastic experience: Good atmosphere and very peaceful.
Positive experience: Typical Mediterranean coves with the combination of mountains, nature, and turquoise waters with posidonia seabeds.
Positive experience: Nice beach. A bit too crowded but pleasant. Better to go with water shoes.
Fantastic experience: Very calm beach with little swell, ideal for snorkeling. The shore is not sandy but the water is, it is very difficult to set up the umbrella.
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for me at any beach.... it is this one without a doubt. It is now more 'touristy', but it is still nudist....
Fantastic experience: Very good place to relax
Positive experience: A cove-type beach with stones, very nice, small, with two beach bars, some bonfires, snorkeling. Easy access by car.
Positive experience: Small and quiet beach with difficult access. It is rocky. Parking is very complicated.
Positive experience: Beach with very easy access, although when we went there were a lot of people and that was during the week (on weekends it must get packed) and it was full of jellyfish, what a shame. It is a stony beach. There is a beach bar that also gets packed, so it was impossible to even have a drink sitting in the shade. The best thing is definitely the easy access.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful location. A powerful place of energy.
Fantastic experience: A very nice place
Positive experience: A very nice place for diving
Positive experience: Bad rocky beach, wild waves.
Fantastic experience: It's wonderful, it's worth coming here!
Fantastic experience: There is another life (...) but it is not life.
Positive experience: Beautiful cove with large stones. Free parking.
Negative experience: It's pebbly and full of people. You can't even park.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, ideal for children
Positive experience: It is a quiet, well-defined stone beach.
Positive experience: My favorite cove
Positive experience: If we exclude that the ground is made of pebbles, it's not bad and it's not very crowded.
Negative experience: A wonderful place, horribly maintained. Makeshift and illegal camping without services. Lots of dirt. A feeling of total impunity. What a shame.
Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful small stone beach
Fantastic experience: The 'senyoret' rice is spectacular! The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. You haven't even left yet and you already want to repeat! Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach. Big rocks on the beach. A restaurant right on the beach. Stairs to go to and from the beach.
Fantastic experience: Good access, crystal clear water for my taste too many people and boats but I guess it is due to the easy access, still I liked it quite a bit
Fantastic experience: Best sardines
Positive experience: Windy
Fantastic experience: Nice beach, you can also find some shade. There is also a small bar at the beach.
Fantastic experience: Mascarat, Altea, Alicante, Spain Captured on #Insta360X3 Mascarat is a fabulous location situated in the Altea region along the Costa Blanca in Spain. This charming corner of paradise is known for its stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and its luxurious residences. The area is characterized by hills and cliffs overlooking crystal-clear waters, offering a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The area is also renowned for its beaches, such as Playa Mascarat, a pebble beach nestled among the cliffs.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful views.
Positive experience: Stone beach, I don't like it.
Positive experience: Very nice, but few mooring buoys.
Fantastic experience: Very clean, with bathrooms and a lifeguard. Also, we happened to go on a day when there were hardly any people.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful pebble beaches, crystal clear water, and stunning views.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, the port is amazing, the beach would be a 10 if it weren't for the stones.
Fantastic experience: Nature continues to give us gifts... this time it's a beach with turquoise waters!! With a beach bar to have whatever you like, restrooms, and a large parking area for a spot that is very difficult to park in the rest of the coves in the area. The stones are large but with water shoes, which is more of a statement than advice ;), the swimming is very pleasant, the photos from this day show the water a bit choppy, but there are days when it looks like a pool, and indeed... a dreamy pool because of the color of its waters.
Positive experience: Idyllic beach, quiet and what a view.
Fantastic experience: A super cool place
Fantastic experience: Crystal clear waters and spectacular views, what more could one ask for!
Fantastic experience: Ada, the waitress, could not be MORE lovely. Thanks to all the staff for being so pleasant.
Fantastic experience: Charming but difficult access to the little coves, we used to go camping.
Negative experience: A beautiful natural setting, mistreated by uncontrolled urbanism. The houses climb the mountains like plants in the jungle, the sea occupied by a typical marina contributes to destroying a landscape that in another time, not so long ago, was very beautiful.
Positive experience: Pebble beach with a very interesting view. Unfortunately, the descent there is very steep and not easy to access, although the beach itself is hidden. If you are driving, it's worth stopping and looking at the place.
Positive experience: Caillois Beach is difficult to access.
Fantastic experience: A pleasant surprise, gravel beach, with a beach bar by the shore and another one a little higher up, dogs are not allowed, it's a very cozy cove.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, in summer I imagine it will be very crowded, but out of season it's a very nice place and you can walk to the Barranco del Mascarat.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach for reading, disconnecting, or doing some water sports as the water is crystal clear. It's a shame about the tourist overcrowding; those of us who are from the area have no choice but to go when there is no tourism to be able to enjoy it.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, gem.
Fantastic experience: Quiet beach, but rocky
Negative experience: It's very discriminatory that they put up a high fence. Only hippies with their vans can pass, and we in motorhomes can no longer get through. It was impossible to enjoy one of my favorite beaches. It's disappointing that they limit my entry.
Fantastic experience: I am saddened by the comment that highlights ~ the whole burnt environment ~ a misfortune, unfortunately caused by man, and reading it only strengthens the lack of empathy towards others, since this kind of comment does not help people who love nature and care little about cars, whether posh or not, drinking whatever they want, and so on. Anyway... Fortunately, nature is pure life and it regenerates. Beautiful place, during sunsets and sunrises. With some stunning full moon nights✨
Positive experience: Stony, nice beach near the port.
Negative experience: Beautiful, secluded, and solitary at this time of year. The beach is full of seaweed and dirt, and cobbled to the point of exasperation, suitable for weak ankles. In the 'marina', many posh people drinking beer and shouting. Big cars and the whole environment burned out.
Positive experience: A very nice cove. Moreover, it is where the trail to the Mascarat strait begins. The trail is a minefield with dog poop.
Negative experience: Awful. It smells very bad and it is a mess. Too many people all the time.
Fantastic experience: Good views!!
Fantastic experience: Discover a spectacular place to go with the family on a short route of just over 4 kilometers.
Fantastic experience: The beach is quite nice and there are hardly any people there.
Positive experience: Pebbly coastline, just in the middle of October it's cold here, more than in other places. I didn't see any fish.
Fantastic experience: I love this pebble beach. The water is very clear and you can go as you want, meaning in a swimsuit or fully nude (the naturists are mostly to the right). A little corner of paradise and freedom... There is a nice little bar/restaurant a bit set back that unfortunately closes (already) in mid-October.
Fantastic experience: Excellent views, very quiet place. The coves are incredible, a bit difficult to access, but worth it.
Fantastic experience: Nice pebble beach, excellent for snorkeling.
Positive experience: The beach is great, we did not find many people since we arrived after lunch when everyone had left. The beach bar is wonderful, I ordered the 'tinto de verano' and it was very good. Just keep in mind that the bathrooms are locked for customer use. If you go in a van and plan to stay overnight, the waitress told us that sometimes the police stopped by there in the early morning to issue fines since it is not allowed. We left to avoid it.
Fantastic experience: Stone beach with gravel parking from which we can also access the Mascarat Canyon trail. The beach has two beach bars and provides sunbeds, restrooms, and a lifeguard during the high and medium/high season.
Positive experience: Not too crowded small beach between 18 - 20h. There’s a restaurant and a small shop, which is very comfortable.
Positive experience: Nice cove with nice views. Pebble beach On this day the waves made snorkelling impossible. You don’t find that much shade in this area so bring your own umbrella if you want to come
Positive experience: Free public, rocky beach in a lagoon. Chill atmosphere. Recommend bringing goggles for snorkeling. Water shallow enough for children. There's a restaurant as well. No public facilities.
Fantastic experience: Great place to watch the sun rise!
Positive experience: hard to reach ( very bumpy dirt road) stone beach and water was not nice ( a little dirty and light fishy smell)
Positive experience: Small beach located in Mascarat. There is a bar, toilets. Very basic. Beaware of stones.
Fantastic experience: Mascarat is toplocatie.
Fantastic experience: Must see when you're in the area.
Fantastic experience: Nice drinks on the beach
Fantastic experience: I love this beach, it's soo clean and lovely. This is a beach for everyone. There is one part for naturists and one half for people who are not natuists. I love it. There is also clean toilets and a cosy beach bar that plays nice music. It's amazing. I recommand too bring bathing shoes, because it hurts a little bit barefot because of rocks/stons. Diving mask and snorkel is a nice thing to bring, as it is a rich wildlife underwater. I have found three octopuses and fish in all the colors of the world on my visits. The underwater life itself is a heavenly experience.
Positive experience: This is a good beach to be naked on. Not that meany naturist about but we didn't care. The down side is their are loads of big pubbles in and out the sea. But it's not a bad size beach for the area of Altea
Fantastic experience: Lush hidden gem! Trust the sat nav and is tucked away, our fave beach and we stayed up the road in Calp. Clear water, can hire snorkels nearby at Infinity Sea and beach bar laid back and friendly. Just be aware nudist fave too but keep to one end (for their all over tan lol)!
