Negative experience: It was a very nice beach. Now it almost always has remnants of posidonia that the cleaning services do not remove or do so weekly, rocks have surfaced, they have reserved a wide band of dunes that accumulates weeds and biological waste and reduces the area for bathers, there are no showers, only two foot showers, the wooden walkway from the access is very short, there is no beach bar due to the city council's desire to collect funds, the information signs are only in Catalan, etc. That's why the beach is bad. In 2024 we continue from bad to worse. Now it has been classified as a 'natural beach of special protection' and they do not remove the remnants of dead marine plants on the shore that become decomposing trash. The smell of sewage is permanent.

Negative experience: DANGER of contaminated water!!! For 3 days there was a disgusting smell of dead fish, to our surprise we saw that they have opened the mouth of the estuary to the sea... You were swimming among all kinds of dead fish, upon reaching the estuary, dead and decomposing fish were noticeable on the sides. I can't understand why they are not solving the problem or alerting bathers to the risk we are taking. After looking for news, I saw that it started back in 2019, for this reason neither my family nor I will return to Denia.

Positive experience: I have been enjoying an incredible sunset for 18 years. The problem is that they no longer clean the seaweed from the beach due to an environmental law, and it is very dirty. What a shame.
Negative experience: EDITED: Nobody cleans the beach of seaweed… According to what I've read, the Generalitat has prohibited collecting the seaweed from Platja dels Molins… and it is disgustingly dirty, with a smell that is unbearable within about 50 meters of the beach… the rest, you can go dodging the piles of seaweed and jumping into the sea to find a spot where there isn't any… but you can barely swim. It seems like a joke but it isn't.

Positive experience: Huge beach, but right now it's very dirty, I hope they'll clean it up by the start of the season. I can't say anything about the sea yet, I haven't swum. It's gotten a bit cleaner, medium crowd, the sea is very warm! They built a café right on the beach, super!!!
