Fantastic experience: La Barrosa is a wide, spacious beach – even in the afternoon when it gets a bit busier, there’s still plenty of room to relax. The water here is noticeably cleaner compared to Cádiz, and unlike in Sancti Petri, you don’t have to deal with as many rocks or uneven ground. Parking is mostly on large paid lots, but if you head left near the lifeguard tower, you can actually park for free on the sand. A great spot for a beach day! Along the beach, you’ll also find plenty of vendors walking by. Many sell clothes, accessories, or small items, and prices are usually negotiable. There are also food carts offering tasty snacks, which is perfect if you don’t want to leave the beach. One large stand sells simple churro-style tubes and even a Nutella-filled roll (delicious, though a bit pricey at €3). Another vendor walks around shouting “coco!” and offers fresh coconut treats – €1 each. While you can buy larger packs in shops for the same price, it’s still a fun little indulgence right on the beach.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach and good direct access, but on a summer day it is crowded.
Positive experience: The beach is incredibly beautiful. There is actually nothing bad to report. From September onwards, there are fewer people at the beach, plenty of parking nearby, and you can swim in the water. It is very idyllic. What bothers me: Today, for example, there is an old couple sitting to my left in sun chairs. The grandma is yelling into her phone and there is very loud and screechy yelling back. This has been going on for a while. Additionally, it makes pling and plong from her device. I don't want to hear any of that. I feel completely alone in the world right now. Is it just me thinking this way, or are others suffering with me? Why is she doing this? Does she have nerves like steel cables? Is grandma deaf? Grandpa seems to think it's great how it screeches from her phone. What is wrong with grandma?
Positive experience: Overcrowded and hard to park. Not worth it. Go to playa del Puerco which is much much better
Fantastic experience: A great long and wide beach. The weather wasn't so great, and we were almost alone in a vast area. Even in nice weather, you can always find a quiet spot if you move away from the hustle and bustle!!! You can swim well because it doesn't drop steeply at the shore. Long beach walks are also possible :-)

Fantastic experience: Great for going with dogs!!
Fantastic experience: A very beautiful and extensive beach. Somewhat crowded in certain stretches starting from the second half of July. Past the promenade at the height of Atenas, perfect for watching the sunset. There are some interesting beach bars to have a beer. There is a small stretch at the end of this beach that allows dogs, the rest is prohibited.
Negative experience: After achieving low influx of dogs and eliminating beach speakers and loud music from the beach bars, there is a need for regulations against jet skis and motorized paragliders. Apart from not being sports, they emit a great deal of noisy and unbearable acoustic pollution and should not be allowed due to this and the insecurity on the beaches. I hope this will be the case and that next year we can truly enjoy the coastal area in this beautiful setting. From Santi Petri to Trafalgar.
Fantastic experience: It is one of the best beaches I have known. The sand is fine and doesn't sink, it's great for walking. You just have to be patient if the east wind blows.
Negative experience: Excellent beach if it wasn't for the dog owners who let dogs foul on the beach and don't pick up the mess. My son stepped on one and he had to be vaccinated. Avoid

Fantastic experience: An ideal beach with fine sand and all the amenities at your fingertips, there are public restrooms and showers, on the promenade you can choose from a variety of restaurants and some beach bars.
Fantastic experience: Great lifeguard team from the Red Cross, always attentive and willing to help. A beach frequented by people with good environmental education, not like the 3 stones in Chipiona. Hehe
Fantastic experience: Huge beach with white sand bathed by the waters of the Atlantic.
Positive experience: Oh my God... this is not a beach, this is an anthill. The sand is good, the water is cold.

Fantastic experience: The best beach that has ever existed in the entire universe, everyone loves this beach, the only bad thing that could happen to you are the narco-boats, or the water tornados that almost killed me by the way, thanks to the jet ski man for saving me and my friend, we love you and hope you have a good future.
Fantastic experience: It's nice how they take care of it. Excellent job by maintenance, surveillance, and cleaning services.
Fantastic experience: A beach that I loved, I was amazed by the public restrooms. Clean, tidy, in perfect condition for the use and enjoyment of people. It seems they are cleaned every half hour. It's true that the day I was there, it wasn't very sunny and there weren't many people, but I liked seeing them so clean and being able to use them without any problem. A 10 to those who dedicate themselves to cleaning them.

Fantastic experience: Great and spacious family and tourist beach, it has hotels, shops, beach bars, diverse bars and restaurants, well maintained, beach services with toilets and showers, very clean and cared for, there are lifeguard surveillance and civil protection, local police surveillance on the beach itself, it has information, public address system and various informative signage, with a children's park and play areas.
Fantastic experience: Simplemente espectacular.

Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach
Fantastic experience: Super beach, large, wide, with restaurants, bars, and restrooms by the beach.
Negative experience: Too many tourists. The beach is beautiful and the locals from Chiclana are very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Fine sand, long flat entry suitable for children, partly strong waves, very clean, playground nearby
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Spain. Although very crowded in summer, June and September are good times to enjoy it.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful long beach about 8 kilometers
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, lively atmosphere, a great beach to walk on due to how spacious and extensive it is.
Fantastic experience: Extraordinary location. An immense beach where you feel very good in relation to the Atlantic Ocean. Also, Chiclana de la Frontera proves to be a very beautiful resort. Visit.
Fantastic experience: It is one of the best beaches I have known. The sand is fine and doesn't sink, it's great for walking. You just have to be patient if the east wind blows.
Fantastic experience: A large beach in a place with many dining options. Parking is relatively easy compared to other places on the coast, and it's appreciated that it's a free parking area. It's one of the best beaches in the area, in my opinion.
Fantastic experience: La Playa de la Barrosa is a beautiful beach considered one of the most stunning in Spain. It is known for its golden sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular destination for sun and sea lovers. The beach is about 8 kilometers long and offers a wide range of services, such as restaurants, bars, and water activities. Additionally, it has a seaside promenade ideal for walking and enjoying the panoramic views. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean climate.
Fantastic experience: A large expansive beach. Part of the beach has a promenade with restaurants, whilst a lot of the remaining is backed by hotels.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach - reminds me of New Zealand's ones. Very clean. Avoid August: it's the busiest time! Perfect to watch spectacular sundowns. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by.
Fantastic experience: Best play to stay with friends!
Fantastic experience: Con respecto is not the 8965 8 8965 that has the largest and largest selection
Fantastic experience: We ate at Amore, on the beach front. The food was good and the views were beautiful.
Fantastic experience: This beach of fine golden sand goes on for miles. The distance from promenade to sea is large enough that, even on the busiest festival weekends in the height of summer, there’s plenty of room for everyone. The sea is shallow so this is kid friendly and most people we saw in August were in family groups. Along the beach are a smattering of restaurants and kiosks. However the location is relaxed and not too commercial, with no hawkers trying to get you into their establishments. A Spanish gem.
Positive experience: A beach with sand and sea.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Spain, plenty of public toilets spotlessly clean.
Fantastic experience: One of the nicest beaches we have been too. Clean, safe and plenty of shops bars etc
Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful beach. We went there end of September and it was perfect. It wasn‘t crowded, the sea had the perfect temperature and it was super clean.
Positive experience: Nice promenade.A few cafes @restaurants open at this time of year.
Fantastic experience: Great prom, lovely beach, good choice of restaurants
Fantastic experience: Big beach with hardly any foreign tourists. The beach is visited by Spanish families, from baby to grandma. It is crowded in the summer but if you like viewing and interacting with different generations of a family, it is no problem.
Fantastic experience: Great beach with views of the castle in the horizon. Make sure to come around sunset time for an amazing sunset. It's a beach also with a lot of history, look for the fossilized shells and the stone with the phoenician origins
Fantastic experience: my favourite beach in Spain, next to Chiclana in the province of Cádiz...... amazing sand..... blue water....blue sky.....plenty of facilites, restaurantes and apartments
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a place to relax, have a walk and enjoy some amazing views, this beach has it all. There are some great and cheap bars all along the beach. If you continue a little bit further you can walk on the cliff which offers breathtaking and picturesque views.
Negative experience: Excellent beach if it wasn't for the dog owners who let dogs foul on the beach and don't pick up the mess. My son stepped on one and he had to be vaccinated. Avoid
Positive experience: Nice clean beach. A lot of restaurants on the boulevard and in the neighborhood.
Fantastic experience: The beach is gorgeous, lovely weather in may as well.
Fantastic experience: Love this beach, spacious and great place to go with children
Fantastic experience: So peaceful and beautiful with a long sandy beach and plenty of lovely places to eat.the food is varied and fantastic value for money. Such a transformation and feels a million miles away from the hell hole that is Costa del chav.
Fantastic experience: Best beach from the area
