Fantastic experience: Wonderful Campoamor beach, known as 'grande' beach by those of us who have been here for a lifetime. Very wide, fine and white sand, clean waters, beach bar with sun loungers available. A couple of very good restaurants nearby. I recommend eating at La Barraca (excellent Caldero rice, fried eggplants, sardines).
Positive experience: Very beautiful sandy beach. No seaweed and pleasant for swimming. Nice bars and restaurants around. The playgrounds for children are convenient.
Fantastic experience: beautiful playa on the coast..a lot of space,sand..and the sun is up until very late in the evening!
Negative experience: Beach very stoney. Entrance to the sea very painful underfoot with very sharp rocks and shelf of sand which tends to trip you if you don't know about it. Beyond quicksand there are boulders that easily are dangerous to older adults and children alike. Spans all along the front of the sea for about 4 meters. Not a very nice experience, pity because it spoils what is a very nice view. Disappointing.wants attention, maybe machinery to move all rocks and sharp stones out of the way.
Positive experience: Not my favourite beach in the area (although it is for a few members of my family) but it's a nice sandy beach with LOADS of free parking. The walk in to the sea can be a little rocky in places but once past the ridge of stone it gets nice and soft although there are rocks about still. The beach is quite narrow from road to sea unless you walk around the corner slightly. There is a concrete "sky walk" above the beach around the cliffs. It doesn't look nice but the views from it are beautiful and it takes you round the corner to a quieter beach if you want.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean beach easy, accessible restaurants
Negative experience: Took a trip to have breakfast here and was told that the restaurant wasn’t open for another 45 minutes so we had a drink and left. Only to see lots of people eating. I guess the grumpy old waiter couldn’t be bothered with us. Went elsewhere and had a great breakfast instead.
